Fig. 12 bis 15 die Schutzplatte.
Zur Be festigung des Knopfes a am Stoffe c1 dient ein :Stück dünner, leicht zu biegender und nieht brechenc,er Metalldraht e, sogenannter Binde- oder -#Ä'ickeldraht, von guter Qua lität und grosser Festigkeit (Tragkraft zirka 60 k;
Die Befestigung beliebiger Knöpfe kann durch vorliegende Einrichtung mit sieben bis acht Handgriffen von jedermann ohne weiteres erfolgen. Die Stärke des Binde drahtes richtet sich nach der Grösse und dein Verwendungszwecke der Knöpfe. Bei st4r- kerem Drahte können dessen Enden Zu gespitzt sein, um ein leichteres Durch stechen durch den Stoff zu ermöglichen;
Device for twistless button fastening. Up until now it was almost common practice to attach the buttons to the clothes and underwear by sewing them on. The disadvantages of this outdated method consist mainly in the easy tearing of the buttons due to the low tensile strength of even the best linen twine and the well-known difficulties that many, especially men, are associated with sewing. The loss of such decorative and utility buttons, which cannot be easily obtained in the free trade, is also a major problem for button fastening by sewing.
The previously known twistless button fastenings are limited to trouser buttons that are made up of two parts that can be connected to one another by a metal pin, but which usually have the major disadvantage of permanent fastening and can therefore only be used once.
The present invention relates to a device for twistless button fastening, the characteristics of which consist essentially of a plate provided with radial incisions and a bore and a flexible metal wire that is passed through the holes of the button, pierced through the fabric, in multiple cross and transverse layers wrapped around the plate and intended to be clamped in the radial cuts of the plate.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in exemplary embodiments, namely: FIGS. 1 and 2 each have a cross section, FIGS. 3 and -1 each have a front view, FIGS. 5 and 6 each a rear view, FIGS. 7 to 11 the fastening plate in the various stages of the successive operations when fastening the button, viewed from the outside of the plate fastened to the inside of the garment,
12 to 15 the protective plate.
With the present device, every button that was previously sewn on using thread can be detachably attached. The actual button a is therefore unchanged and in a known manner according to FIGS. 1 and 3 with a number of holes b, according to FIG. 2 and .1 with an eyelet c on the inside.
A piece of thin, easy-to-bend and never-breakable metal wire, a so-called tie or nickel wire, of good quality and great strength (load-bearing capacity approx. 60 k;
- @ per qmm). A round plate or disk f is attached to the back of the fabric d with a button, which has a hole g in the middle and a number of equal numbers on the edge > distributed incisions or narrow slits dz is provided.
The button is now fastened in such a way that one end of the binding wire e. first of all wrapped around the plate in a few criss-cross and cross-layers, the wire being pushed into some of the incisions (Fig. 7). Then you lead the wire e through the hole g, pierce.
the same through the substance d. and pulls the plate f towards the fabric, whereupon the wire is passed through a hole b of the button from bottom to top and through another from top to bottom and like that through the fabric d, as well as the hole n of the plate f and sews the button a. to the fabric d (hig. Ss). Then clamp the wire in a still free A cut h of the plate f and then firmly in the opposite incision (Fig. 9).
Repeating the process, the wire e is passed through hole g in plate f, fabric d, through the holes b of button a that are still free, as when sewing with thread, as often as desired, and wire e is always attached to the incisions that are still free (Fig. 10). The remaining end of the wire is then bent towards the middle of the plate so that it rests against it.
So that the wire layers are covered, even a bending of the bent end and a hang-over on the same cannot occur, the plate f is covered with a protective plate% which is detachably connected to the plate f in a suitable white.
In the exemplary embodiment presented above, a disk with a somewhat larger diameter is used for this purpose, which is provided with lugs at the edge. is provided, which are also provided with -lusstanzE @ n of the disc (Fig. 1 \ 3). The tabs i 'are then first bent at right angles, the protective plate is placed on the plate f in this form and the tabs are bent over on the inside so that they encompass the edge of the plate j'.
When releasing the connection, you bend the tabs i 'back again, whereby the protective plate i. can decrease and also a solution and removal of the wire is possible. If you want to bend the flaps i. ' avoid, so can i. narrow tongues i 'are arranged, which are inserted into corresponding cutouts f' of the plate f so -e, it that the tongues come to lie under the plate f.
With a relative ornamental rotation of plate f and protective plate i, the tongues i "come to lie between the cutouts on the edge of the plate f, whereby both parts are firmly connected to one another (Fig. 1I) When loosening the same, the protective plate i is rotated so that the tongues 'come to stand over the cutouts f', whereupon the protective plate i is lifted off.
Any buttons can be fastened by anyone using the present device with seven to eight hand movements. The strength of the tie wire depends on the size and purpose of the buttons. In the case of thicker wire, the ends of the wire can be too pointed to allow easier piercing through the fabric;
If the wire is very weak, a sewing needle can be used to help, if the piercing of the weak wire causes the wire to bend in a uni-bending manner in thick or multiple layers of fabric. The cuts according to. Can be arranged obliquely to the axis to achieve a better clamping effect on the wire e.
