Regulating device, in particular for turbines. The present invention relates to a regulating device, in particular for tur bines, with a spindle arranged in a nozzle: He regulates the exit of the force by means of. According to the invention, the machine to be regulated is connected to a centrifugal pendulum regulator, which is in motion with a rocking lever.
The rocker arm can swing out along a contact device, namely if the number of revolutions of the machine is too high or too low it will swing out in one direction or the other and thereby close an electrical circuit at the contact device in which a spindle connected to the nozzle Electric motor is switched on, whereby the nozzle spindle is moved in the closing or opening direction.
In the accompanying drawings, an embodiment of the invention is shown in part schematically by the Figure 1; 2 shows a variant of a circuit diagram.
In the illustrated embodiment, a means the nozzle for the supply of water to the bucket wheel of a jet turbine, -end b is the longitudinally adjustable spindle, which rides the strength of the exiting water jet. The centrifugal pendulum regulator is marked with c, which is in motion by means of a chain wheel (with the turbine shaft (not visible in the drawing).
Through its sleeve e, the regulator e is on the other hand in motion connection with the two-armed rocking lever f ', which has its bearing point in a Boche g. The oscillating lever f can oscillate with its free end, which carries a contact roller, along an arcuate piece which has a group of mutually isolated contact pieces 1-4 and a second group of such contact pieces 5-11. Between the groups of contact pieces there is an insulating plate or the like.
The contact pieces as well as the insulating plate are advantageously attached so that they can be exchanged easily. As shown in the drawing, the insulating plate is touched by the oscillating level f, which is the case when the regulator sleeve e is in its normal position when the turbine is in operation, i.e. H. when the turbine shaft has its normal number of revolutions.
The rocker arm f is constantly pressed against the curved piece by a leaf spring provided at the bearing point. A contact niessc-r i, which is isolated from it and located in a contact path k, is spot-welded to the swing lever f. 7 and 1r are two resistors that are actually combined into one element, but are drawn separately here for the sake of clarity of the circuit.
in, is a switch with a series resistor, while il and o denote two blotors. The two motors rz, o are by means of gears, each with a wide impeller p, respectively. q connected,
which are able to act in opposite directions of rotation on the spindle b by means of unilaterally acting clutches r.
If the turbine shaft now rotates faster than its normal speed, the regulator sleeve e is lifted. As a result, the rocker arm f is brought into contact with the contact piece 4 and an electrical circuit line, which is formed by two wires 16, 17 and fed by a battery 18, is closed by a wire 1a guided over the resistor l.
The wire 17 is on the block g with the con tact roller h. of the rocker arm f electrically connected. The, power line 16, 17 now the electric motor iz in action, and this causes the spindle b to rotate in the closing sense.
If the speed of rotation of the turbine shaft continues to increase, for example as a result of suddenly increased water pressure, then the rocker arm f will reach the contact piece 1 after passing the contact pieces 3, 2, which are also connected to the wire 16 via the resistor l, which is directly connected to the wire 16 bar. Accordingly, the current supply to the motor iz is gradually increased so that it will work faster. The spindle b can also be operated by hand by means of a handwheel provided.
Assuming that the rotational speed of the turbine shaft decreases in relation to its normal number of revolutions, the rocker arm f swings out in the opposite direction, cl. 1r. his role h. Is moved over the contact terms 5-11 . The circuit of the two wires 19 and 20, with which the former these contact pieces are str) nrleitend connected; closed and thereby the electric motor o started. This turns the spindle L in the opening sense, so that a larger amount of water can exit the nozzle a.
The two provided on the nozzle spindle b on one side act the couplings r allow the spindle to be rotated by means of the handwheel in both directions, with only the corresponding spur gear 1), respectively. q is rotated.
If the turbine is to be turned off, then one turns off. the liontarht lever ml of the switch iiz on the second pole of this holder. The current now flows through the wire 20 'to the knife switch k and from the contact knife i. directly to the motor n. This will shut off the nozzle.
The lowering regulator sleeve e. the contact roller h of the rocker arm f 'is moved over the contact pieces b-10 to the contact piece 11.
An excitation of the electric rotor o cannot take place here, however, since the Sehwinglrehel j 'is disconnected from the power line in the specified position of the contact lever of the Sehalters Lit. When the rocker arm f reaches the correction piece, then the contact knife i dorr interrupts the current circuit via the knife switch k, i . The motor iz is stopped and the nozzle is in the rest position.
To start up the turbine, the contact lever of the switch iiz must be returned to the position shown. The current that is switched on now goes through the rocking lever f 'to the contact piece 11, from here through the resistor 1r to the electric motor o. This slowly opens the nozzle a, so that the turbine shaft is set in rotation and the regulator sleeve e is raised.
The roller h of the rocker arm f 'slides with the disconnection of resistance down to the contact piece 8, and then, switching on from the contact piece 7 to a new resistance, finally borrowed to reach the insulating plate o. The rocker arm f is now back in its normal position. ready; to adjust the nozzle a again when the regulator sleeve is moved.
The device described is characterized by a high level of sensitivity to fluctuations in the number of tours with little effort. It is sufficient to operate a switch n: to start the turbine.
Fig.2 of the drawing shows in principle an example of the circuit when only an electric motor is used to operate the nozzle spindle del. It describes the electric motor to be brought into motion with the nozzle spindle. The two wires 21 and 22 represent the power line which leads to the armature of the motor, while the two wires 23 and 24 form the power line leading to the magnet windings of the motor. Now closes the rocker arm f (according to Fig. 1) the two contact points 25 and 25 ', then the current flows from the batteries 27 in the lines 21, 22 and 23, 24 in the direction indicated by arrows, and the motor shaft is in turned a direction of rotation.
If, on the other hand, the rocker arm closes the two contact points 26 and 26 ', the current in the line 21, 22 flows in the opposite direction and thus in the opposite direction through the armature of the motor. As a result, the motor shaft now rotates in the opposite direction. One time the nozzle spindle is pushed forward and the other time it is withdrawn. As is immediately clear, in this way, with the aid of two groups of components, which are connected to the main line by branch lines, exactly the same can be achieved as with the circuit according to FIG. 1.
The regulating device described can be used wherever the supply of a power means can be regulated by means of a spindle arranged in a nozzle.
