Ventilauslaufhahn.
Valve tap. The subject of the invention is a valve drain cock which makes a stuffing box for the valve spindle unnecessary and which can be opened and closed by moving a mouthpiece down or up.
For this purpose, the shut-off valve is loosely attached to a mouthpiece that can be moved up and down on the upper part of the head in such a way that it is lifted from its seat by moving the latter down, and vice versa. The result is an extremely simple construction and handling. At the same time, since there is no valve spindle guided to the outside through a tap housing, the annoying leakage and re-sealing of the stuffing box is eliminated.
The faucet can also be designed in such a way that, for example, a ball 1 is arranged in its upper part, which is usually raised by the valve spindle, while when the mouthpiece is completely removed it lowers onto a seat, closing off the liquid passage. Any repair work can be carried out on the main shut-off valve, or parts can be replaced without shutting off the entire water line.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention was in an Aursführungsbeispiel is presented.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section with the valve slightly open, Fig. 2 shows a section according to AB of Fig. 1, Fig. 3 shows a cross section through the upper end of the removed mouthpiece, Fig. 4 shows a partial view of the upper part of the tap, Fig. 5 shows the valve the valve spindle. Threaded onto the upper cock part k is the mouthpiece in which, by means of the star support p, receives the valve spindle b with the valve cone v attached to it.
When the mouthpiece nz is screwed up, the valve cone v closes the correspondingly conical outlet opening of the tap upper part h and vice versa. The downward movement of the mouthpiece is limited by the screw r that penetrates the mouthpiece and, when it is screwed down, finally settles on the uppermost course of the thread c>? of the tap head k touches down.
The conical design of the valve body and seat ensures the former central storage, sieliere seal, effective flushing, low wear; the thread d sufficiently prevents the liquid from passing upwards when the stopcock is open. The replaceable star carrier p also serves as a jet regulator.
The spindle U of the valve -v, which is guided in the support star p of the 3Tundstückes 2, is lengthened upwards, and protrudes through the ball seat a embedded in the upper part of the tap, wove,
i prevents the ball c from jumping into its seat when the valve is closed or until the screw y is seated on the thread d of the upper part of the straw k, but lets it sink down onto the seat as soon as the mouthpiece is triggered iiafth Screw r- is completely removed.
Any repair work can be carried out in peace. Another, freely liftable valve body can take the place of the ball. A web ts of the upper halved part prevents the ball r from falling out when the tap is being transported.
