KartofFellegemaschine.
Potato skinning machine.
In known potato planting machine!) With laying wheel, in which distribution spaces are formed by radial transverse walls on the wheel rim, to which the potatoes are fed laterally by means of gripping tools, the potatoes have the tendency to fall off the gripping tools to the left or right.
The aim of the present invention is to remedy this drawback. The laying wheel has a centrally perforated end wall through which a hollow cylindrical part of a storage container, arranged concentrically to the laying wheel, protrudes, which part has a cutout through which the potatoes are attached to the opposite end wall of the laying wheel, in the aforementioned cylindrical part protruding agitator blades are promoted in the distribution rooms, which are open on the side opposite the wheel rim.
An embodiment of the subject of the invention is illustrated in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a laying wheel, seen from the inner end face, partly in section; Fig. 2 is a radial section.
The laying wheel, which is fastened on the axis iv by means of a hub g, has two end walls d, d 'which are connected to one another by the wheel rim c and radial transverse walls A.
Between two adjacent walls h, each of which delimits a distribution space i with the wheel rim, the wheel rim each has a hole k for the potatoes to be placed to exit. Adjacent to the hole / f, a slide t and a baffle s are inserted in each distribution space i. On the side opposite the wheel rim, the distribution spaces i are open and the potatoes are introduced into the distribution spaces on this side.
The end wall d of the laying wheel is provided with a concentric U $ 'nun5 f, through which a part o protrudes into the laying wheel, which is designed as a hollow cylinder and is arranged concentrically to the laying wheel axis. On this cylindrical part o the storage box e is placed, from which in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2) the potatoes brought into the same from above reach part o. This has a section m, n approximately at the height of the axis # through which, in the manner described below, potatoes lifted up by stirring wings b fall.
The agitator blades corresponding to the number of distribution spaces have an angular cross-section and are attached to the closed end wall d by means of a screw parallel to the bath axis? attached and pivotable about this. The shorter legs of these angled tubular wings protrude inwards and are used to take away the potatoes lying on the bottom of the part o.
By corresponding turning, respectively. Adjusting the agitators, the space between them and the space between them and the wall of the part can be kept smaller or larger, depending on the size of the seed. Before the potatoes can fall over the edge H into the distribution spaces i, they must pass between two stirring blades each. If small potatoes are to be planted, the space between each two agitator blades is reduced; are to be planted large, enlarged.
Of the potatoes located at the bottom of part o, if the rotating blades are properly adjusted, one potato will step between the rotating blades concerned. As a result of the rotation of the laying wheel, these potatoes are taken away by the stirring bars. The remaining potatoes always roll to the deepest point within the space circumscribed by the agitator blades, so only the potato between two agitator blades is rolled over the edge ra of the cutout m, rz into the distribution space i moving past this onto its impact surface s falls.
Up over the edge! K in addition, the potato is held by the inner edge of the wall, which is bent in the direction of rotation of the laying wheel.
Then the potato, which is in the distribution space, which moves over the part o, falls onto the wall of the latter, so it can no longer get into it. Afterwards, the potato falls on the front wall A with regard to the direction of rotation and from this on the slide t, from which it at the deepest, that is to say on the floor located point of the laying wheel through the opening 7 through it on the floor, falls into the furrow.
The agitator blades b can consist of one piece or be composed of several parts. Furthermore, the individual legs can pull out, respectively. be set up to be extendable. The cylindrical part o of the storage box can also be set up so that it can be pivoted about the axis 26, so that the overflow edge ra can be set higher or lower as required.
