Apparat zur Abgabe von Zeitungen oder dergleichen. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Apparat zur Abgabe von Zeitungen oder dergleichen, welcher nach Einwurf zweier Geldstücke und hierauf erfolgender Drehung einer Kurbel in Tätigkeit gesetzt werden kann.
Gemäss der Erfindung kuppelt das eine der beiden eingeworfenen Geldstücke die An triebskurbel mit einer Welle, welch letztere mit Organen in Verbindung steht, mittelst denen eine einzelne Zeitung von einem Stapel freigelegt werden kann, während das andere eingeworfene Geldstück die Kurbel in Zwangs verbindung reit einem Mechanismus bringt, welch letzterer ein Organ, welches das Heraus fallen einer freigelegten Zeitung verhindern kann, so einzustellen vermag, dass die Zei tung freigegeben wird.
Auf der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungs gegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausfüh rungsform dargestellt, und es zeigt darin F ig. 1 den Apparat im Längsschnitt, Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt durch denselben, Fig. 3 eine Ansicht von oben auf einen Tfeil des Apparates, Fig. 4 die Ansicht des Apparates von vorn, Fig. 5 einen Längsschnitt durch die Kupp lungsorgane, Fig. 6 eine Draufsicht zu Fig. 5, und Fig. 7 einen Schnitt nach der Linie A-B der Fig. 5.
Die nebeneinander angeordneten Kanäle 1 und 2 für Geldstücke führen von den an der Aussenseite des Apparates vorgesehenen Ein wurfstellen zu den Kupplungsorganen. Der Schlitz des Kanals 1 ist so gross, dass ihn ein Zehnrappenstück und der Schlitz des Kanals 2 so gross, dass ihn ein Fünfrappen- stück leicht passieren kann. Auf der Grund platte 36 ist ein aus den Teilen 3, 22, 25 und 25' bestehender Support montiert und ist auf Support 3 vermittelst der Schraube 4' die Trommel 4 befestigt.
Der Mantel der Trommel 4 besitzt einen von 52 bis 53 (Fig.7) sich erstreckenden Schlitz 5, der nach der innern Kante 5' (Fig. 5) des Mantels der Trommel 4 hin enger wird und der so breit ist, dass ein quer zu ihm gestelltes Zehn oder Fünfrappenstück nicht durch den Schlitz hindurchgehen kann. Auf dem Mantel der Trommel 4 ist ein Ring 6 aufgesetzt, der bis zur Mitte des Mantels der Trommel 4 reicht, aber bei 9 einen Ansatz bildet und der zwei Schlitze 7 und 8 hat.
An seiner Innenwan dung weist der Ring 6 einen durch den Schlitz 5 ragenden Lappen 10 auf, an welchem die in das Zahnrad 12 greifende Schaltklinke 11 drehbar angeordnet ist. Das Zahnrad 12 sitzt fest auf der in denn Support 3 und der Nabe 14t der Scheibe 14 gelagerten Welle 13. Irr der an der Kastenwand 36' befestigten Hülse 16, welche einen Anschlagstift 161 aufweist, ist die Nabe 14' der Scheibe 14 gelagert. Auf dem freien Ende der Nabe 14' ist die Kurbel 15 aufgesetzt und mit der Nabe durch die zugleich als Anschlag dienende Schraube 151 fest verbunden. Ein mit der Scheibe 14 ein Ganzes bildender Ring 14' umfasst wie der Ring 6 den Mantel der Trom mel 4.
Er bildet einen Vorsprung 14' und hat zwei Schlitze 17 und 18, die, wenn der Vorsprung 143 an dem Absitze 9 anliegt, mit den Schlitzen 7 und 8 kommunizieren. Die Schlitze 7 und 17 und die Schlitze 8 und 18 zusammen bilden also je einen Schlitz von solcher Grösse, dass der erstere ein Zehnrippen stück, der letztere ein Fünfrippenstück auf nehmen kann. 19 ist eine Spiralfeder, die einerends an dem Bolzen 20 und anderends am Bolzen 201 befestigt ist. Der Bolzen 201 ist an der Trommel 4 und der Bolzen 20 an der Scheibe 14 befestigt. Durch halbe Dre hung der Scheibe 14 vermittelst Schwingung der Kurbel 15 im Sinne des Uhrzeigers (Fig. 7) wird die Spiralfeder gespannt, was zur Folge hat, dass sie nach Freigabe der Kurbel diese und die Scheibe 14 wieder in die Anfangs stellung zurückzieht.
Auf der Welle 13 sitzt ein konisches Zahnrädchen 21, das in ein Zahnrädchen 24 greift. Letzteres ist auf der Welle 23 befestigt, die in dem Support 22 lagert. Am andern Ende der Welle 23 ist ein Hebel 26 festgemacht, der durch die Stange 27 mit dem Hebel 28 gelenkig vor- bunden ist. Letzterer sitzt fest auf der in den Supporten 25 und 25' gelagerten Welle 29. 30 und 31 sind auf der Welle 29 be festigte Exzenter, die in Ausnehmungen der Messer 32 und 33 liegen, welche seitlich in Führungsleisten 34 und 35 greifen. Die Ex- zenter 30 und 31 sind versetzt zueinander angeordnet, so dass bei einer halben Drehung der Welle 29 das eine Messer auf- das an dere abwärts bewegt wird.
Im Gehäuse des Apparates, das durch die Grundplatte 36, die Seitenwand 36' und die an einer der letzteren durch Scharniere an gelenkten Deckwand 362 gebildet ist, befin det sich ein Behälter zur Aufnahme des Sta pels der abzugebenden Zeitungen oder der gleichen. Dieser Behälter wird durch die Seitenwände 37 und 38, die Rückwand 43 und den Boden 41 gebildet. 39 und 40 sind Bolzen, die im Boden festsitzen und in den Seitenwänden 37 und 38 drehbar gelagert sind, so dass der Boden 41 gedreht werden kann. 41' ist eine schwingbar angeordnete; die Vorderwand des zur Aufnahme der Zei tungen dienenden Behälters bildende Platte.
Die Rückwand 43 dieses Behälters, an die die Zeitungen anlehnen; ist keilförmig und zwischen den Seitenwänden verschiebbar; sie ruht auf Rollen 44, welche auf dem Boden 41 laufen. 45 ist eine an der Wand 43 durch Schrauben befestigte Strebe, welche. an ihrem untern Ende wiederum mit einer Rolle ver sehen ist.
46 ist ein über die Rollen 47 und 48 führendes Baud. welches einerends an der Rückwand 43 befestigt ist, während das freie Ende mit einer Gewichtskette 49 versehen ist; so dass die Rückwand stets gegen die Messer 32 und 33 gezogen wird. 51 ist. ein an die Seitenwände 37 und 38 befestigtes Holzstück, welches in der Mitte eine Aus- nehmung 50 aufweist, in welche die Messer 32 und 33 hineinragen.
Auf der Flansche der Trommel 4 ist ein Schieber 55 verschiebbar angeordnet, wobei eine in demselben steckende Schraube 55 irr die Nute 4' der Trornmel$ansche eingreift und eine an ihm befestigte, entsprechend ge wölbte Platte 54 auf den Ringen 6 und 143 anliegt, und zwar so, dass ein in ihr ange brachter Schlitz 57 mit den Schlitzen 8 Lind 18 der Ringe 6 und 143 zur Deckung ge bracht werden kann. An dem Schieber 55 ist die Stange 59 drehbar befestigt, deren oberes Ende reit dem Hebel 60 in Verbindung steht.
Auf dem Ring 6 ist ein Anschlagstift 61 befestigt, der bei der Rückwärtsbewegung des ersteren an die Platte 54 anschlägt und diese mitnimmt. 42 bezeichnet ein auf der Flansche der Trommel 4 befestigter Stift, vermittelst welchem die Rückwärtsbewegung der Platte 54 durch Anschlagen begrenzt wird.
All den Zapfen 611 der Scheibe 14 ist die Stange 61 angelenkt, welche mit denm Hebel 62 in Verbindung steht. Bei einer halben Umdrehung der Scheibe 14 wird die Stange 61 nach rechts (Fig. 1) bewegt, wobei (las Schaltrad 65 vermittelst der an dem Hebel 62 angelenkten Klinke 63 geschaltet wird.
Auf einer endlosen Ggurte 761 sind Reklame bilder 76 angebracht. Die Gurte 761 ist über die Rollen 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74 und 75 geführt. Die Vorderwand des Apparates weist ein Fenster 52 auf, hinter welchem die Gurte 761 vorbeiführt, und eine Öffnung aus der die Platte 17 herausragt, auf welche die vom Apparat abgegebene Zeitung oder der gleichen gelangt.
Die Rollen 71 und 72 sind durch Stangen 77 miteinander verbanden, welche letztere je auf den aus den beiden Stirnseiten der Rollen ragenden Teilen der Axen drehbar befestigt sind. 78 ist ein durch eineu Lappen mit der Axe 72 in Verbindung stehender Haken, welcher in eine Nute der an der Innenseite der Wand 361 befestigten Platte 79 greift. Zwar ist an jeder der beiden Stirn seiten der Rolle 72 ein Haken 78 vorgesehen. Zwei übereinander angeordnete Stangen sind durch die Schraubenfeder 771 miteinander verbunden, wodurch eine selbsttätige Auslösung eines Hakens aus der Nute der Platte 79 in folge der Zugwirkung nach oben ausgeschlos sen ist.
Die Funktion des vorbeschriebenen Appa rates ist folgende: Das in den Kanal 1 eingeworfene Zehn- rappeustück gelangt in den von den Schlitzen 7 und 17 gebildeten Schlitz und bleibt auf dem Mantel der Trommel 4 liegen, indem es in den Schlitz 5 desselben hineinragt und auf den ihn begrenzenden schrägen Begren zungsflächen aufliegt. In dieser Lage kuppelt es die Scheibe 14 mit dem Ring 6. Wird dann die Kurbel 15 im Sinne des Uhrzeigers unm eine halbe Drehung gedreht, so wird diese Bewegung von der Scheibe 14 durch Ver mittlung des Zehnrappenstückes auf den Ring 6 übertragen. Die an dem Lappen 10 des Ringes 6 angeordnete Schaltklinke 11 bewirkt dann auch eine halbe Drehung des Zahnrades 12 und damit der Welle 13.
Das auf der letzteren sitzende Zahnrädchen 21 wird dabei ebenfalls gedreht und überträgt diese Bewegung durch das auf der Welle 23 sitzende Zahnrädchen 24 auf das Kurbelwerk 26, 27 und 28, wodurch die Welle 29 mit den Exzentern 30 und 31 eine halbe Drehurig ausführt, wobei sich das eine der beiden Messer 32 und 33, auf-, das andere dagegen abwärts bewegt.
In der gezeichneten Stellung des Messers stellt das obere Ende des Mes sers 33 in gleicher Höhe wie die untere Kante des abgeschrägten Teils des Holzstückes 51, während das obere Ende des 111essers 32 über dasselbe herausragt, und bei einer halben Drehung der Welle 29 senkt sich 32 bis unter die schiefe; Kante von 51, während 33 über dieselbe steigt und dadurch das Nach rutschen der zweitvordersten Zeitung ver hindert. Die vorderste Zeitung wird dadurch vom Stapel freigelegt und kann auf die Platte 17 und dadurch zur Abgabe gelangen, sofern sie hieran nicht durch die Vorderwand 411 gehindert wird.
Bei der nächstfolgenden Bewegung der Scheibe 14 durch die Feder 19 wechseln die Messer ihre Lage wieder und das Messer 32 kommt wieder vor die nun vorderste Zeitung zu stehen.
Das eingeworfene Fünfrappenstück gelangt aus dein Kanal 2 in den Schlitz 57 und die Schlitze 8 und 18 und bleibt auf deni Mantel der Trommel 4 liegen, indem es, quer zum Schlitz 5 liegend; auf den schrägen Begren- zungsfläelieii des letzteren aufliegt. In dieser Lage kuppelt es die Platte 54 des Schiebers 55 mit dem Ring 6 und der Scheibe 14.
Bei einer halben Drehung der Kurbel 15 wird s omi t auch der Schleber 55 mitbewegt, wobei der Hebel 59 den Hebel 60 in Drehung ver setzt und dadurch an den Bolzen 412 der Platte 411 anschlägt, letztere hebt, so dass die vom Stapel freigelegte Zeitung durch die Wand 41' nicht aufgehalten wird, sondern ungehindert auf die Platte 17 herunterfallen kann.
Die halbe Kurbeldrehung im Sinne des Uhrzeigers wird durch die Schraube 151 durch Anschlag an den Stiften 161 begrenzt.
Bei jedesmaliger Entnahme einer Zeitung verstellen sich die Reklamebilder 76, indem die Stange 61 bei jeder Schwingung der Kurbel 15 infolge Drehung der Scheibe 14 so bewegt wird, dass eine Schaltung des Rades 65 und damit der Rolle 69 stattfindet, über welch letztere die endlose Gurte 761 führt.
Die beiden Geldstücke gleiten während der halben Drehung der Scheibe 14, im Schlitze 5 geführt, auf dem Mantel der Trommel 4 und fallen in eine auf der Bodenplatte 36 ange brachte Kassette.
Bei der Rückwärtsbewegung der Scheibe 14 schlägt der Vorsprung 143 all den Absatz 9 des Ringes 6, wodurch letzterer mitgenommen wird. Dabei schlägt der Stiften 61 an die Platte 54, wodurch sich diese und damit der Schieber 55 ebenfalls wieder rückwärts drehen. Durch Anschlag an Stiften 42 wird die Be wegung der Platte 54 begrenzt.
Apparatus for delivering newspapers or the like. The subject of the present invention is an apparatus for dispensing newspapers or the like, which can be put into operation after inserting two coins and then turning a crank.

The juxtaposed channels 1 and 2 for coins lead from the one provided on the outside of the apparatus throw points to the coupling members. It forms a projection 14 'and has two slots 17 and 18 which, when the projection 143 rests against the seat 9, communicate with the slots 7 and 8. The slots 7 and 17 and the slots 8 and 18 together thus each form a slot of such a size that the former can take a ten-rib piece, the latter a five-rib piece. 19 is a spiral spring which is attached to the bolt 20 at one end and to the bolt 201 at the other end. The bolt 201 is fastened to the drum 4 and the bolt 20 to the disk 14. By half rotation of the disc 14 by means of oscillation of the crank 15 in the clockwise direction (FIG. 7), the spiral spring is tensioned, which means that it pulls this and the disc 14 back into the initial position after releasing the crank.
A conical toothed wheel 21, which engages with a toothed wheel 24, sits on the shaft 13. The latter is attached to the shaft 23, which is mounted in the support 22. At the other end of the shaft 23, a lever 26 is fastened, which is connected in an articulated manner to the lever 28 by the rod 27. The latter sits firmly on the shaft 29, which is mounted in the supports 25 and 25 '. 30 and 31 are eccentrics fixed on the shaft 29, which are located in recesses of the knives 32 and 33, which engage in guide strips 34 and 35 laterally. The eccentrics 30 and 31 are arranged offset to one another, so that with half a rotation of the shaft 29, one knife is moved downward on the other.
In the housing of the apparatus, which is formed by the base plate 36, the side wall 36 'and the top wall 362 hinged to one of the latter by hinges, there is a container for receiving the stack of newspapers to be dispensed or the like. This container is formed by the side walls 37 and 38, the rear wall 43 and the base 41. 39 and 40 are bolts which are firmly seated in the floor and are rotatably mounted in the side walls 37 and 38 so that the floor 41 can be rotated. 41 'is a swingably arranged; the front wall of the container used to hold the newspapers forming the plate.
The rear wall 43 of this container against which the newspapers lean; is wedge-shaped and can be moved between the side walls; it rests on rollers 44 which run on the floor 41. 45 is a strut fixed to the wall 43 by screws, which. is again provided with a role at its lower end.
46 is a baud going through roles 47 and 48. which is attached at one end to the rear wall 43, while the free end is provided with a weight chain 49; so that the rear wall is always pulled against the knives 32 and 33. 51 is. a piece of wood fastened to the side walls 37 and 38 which has a recess 50 in the middle into which the knives 32 and 33 protrude.
On the flange of the drum 4, a slide 55 is slidably arranged, with a screw 55 inserted in the same engaging the groove 4 'of the Trornmel $ ansche and a correspondingly curved plate 54 attached to it, rests on the rings 6 and 143, and in such a way that a slot 57 made in it can be made to coincide with the slots 8 and 18 of the rings 6 and 143. The rod 59 is rotatably attached to the slide 55, the upper end of which is connected to the lever 60.
A stop pin 61 is fastened to the ring 6, which, when the former moves backwards, hits the plate 54 and takes it along. 42 denotes a pin fastened on the flange of the drum 4, by means of which the backward movement of the plate 54 is limited by striking.
The rod 61, which is connected to the lever 62, is articulated to all the pins 611 of the disk 14. With half a revolution of the disk 14, the rod 61 is moved to the right (FIG. 1), whereby (the ratchet wheel 65 is switched by means of the pawl 63 linked to the lever 62).
Advertisement pictures 76 are attached to an endless belt 761. The belt 761 is guided over the rollers 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74 and 75. The front wall of the apparatus has a window 52 behind which the belts 761 pass, and an opening from which the plate 17 protrudes, onto which the newspaper or the like delivered by the apparatus comes.
The rollers 71 and 72 are connected to one another by rods 77, which the latter are each rotatably attached to the parts of the axes protruding from the two end faces of the rollers. 78 is a hook which is connected to the axis 72 by a tab and which engages in a groove in the plate 79 attached to the inside of the wall 361. A hook 78 is provided on each of the two end sides of the roller 72. Two rods arranged one above the other are connected to one another by the helical spring 771, whereby an automatic release of a hook from the groove of the plate 79 as a result of the pulling action upwards is excluded.
The function of the above-described Appa rates is as follows: The ten rappeustück thrown into the channel 1 gets into the slot formed by the slots 7 and 17 and remains on the shell of the drum 4 by protruding into the slot 5 of the same and onto the it rests on inclined surfaces delimiting it. In this position it couples the disc 14 with the ring 6. If the crank 15 is then rotated clockwise by half a turn, this movement is transmitted from the disc 14 to the ring 6 by means of the ten-centimeter piece. The switching pawl 11 arranged on the tab 10 of the ring 6 then also causes a half rotation of the gear wheel 12 and thus the shaft 13.
The toothed wheel 21 sitting on the latter is also rotated and transmits this movement through the toothed wheel 24 sitting on the shaft 23 to the crank mechanism 26, 27 and 28, whereby the shaft 29 with the eccentrics 30 and 31 performs half a turn, whereby one of the two knives 32 and 33 moves upwards, the other moves downwards.
In the drawn position of the knife, the upper end of the knife 33 is at the same height as the lower edge of the beveled part of the piece of wood 51, while the upper end of the knife 32 protrudes over the same, and with a half turn of the shaft 29 lowers 32 up to the crooked; Edge of 51, while 33 rises over the same and thus prevents the second-foremost newspaper from sliding behind. The foremost newspaper is thereby exposed from the stack and can reach the plate 17 and thereby to the delivery, provided that it is not prevented from doing so by the front wall 411.
During the next movement of the disk 14 by the spring 19, the knives change their position again and the knife 32 comes to a stop again in front of the now front newspaper.
The thrown in five-centime piece comes out of the channel 2 into the slot 57 and the slots 8 and 18 and remains on the shell of the drum 4 by lying across the slot 5; rests on the sloping boundary surface of the latter. In this position it couples the plate 54 of the slide 55 with the ring 6 and the disk 14.
Half a turn of the crank 15 also moves the slider 55 with it, the lever 59 rotating the lever 60 and thereby striking the bolt 412 of the plate 411, lifting the latter so that the newspaper exposed from the stack passes through the wall 41 'is not stopped but can fall down onto the plate 17 without hindrance.
Half the turn of the crank in the clockwise direction is limited by the screw 151 by a stop on the pins 161.
Each time a newspaper is removed, the advertising images 76 are displaced in that the rod 61 is moved with each oscillation of the crank 15 as a result of the rotation of the disc 14 so that the wheel 65 and thus the roller 69 are switched, via which the endless belt 761 leads.
The two coins slide during half the rotation of the disc 14, guided in the slot 5, on the jacket of the drum 4 and fall into a cassette placed on the bottom plate 36.
During the backward movement of the disc 14, the projection 143 hits all the shoulder 9 of the ring 6, whereby the latter is carried along. In the process, the pin 61 strikes the plate 54, as a result of which it and thus the slide 55 also rotate backwards again. By stopping against pins 42, the movement of the plate 54 is limited.
