Abstract

Ein deodorisierendes Gerät (1), vorzugsweise zur Verwendung in Fahrzeugen, ist mit einem Gehäuse (3), einem in diesem angeordneten Ventilator (10) sowie wenigstens einem im Luftstrom des Ventilators (10) platzierten duftspendenden Mittel versehen. Als duftspendendes Mittel ist ein Duftkörper (2) im Gehäuse (3) auswechselbar eingesetzt, welcher mit Luftdurchlässen (17) versehen ist, derart, dass die Luft vom Ventilator (10) von der Aussenseite innen durch das Gehäuse (3) angesaugt und durch den Duftkörper (2) und wieder nach aussen zum Deodorisieren des Fahrzeuginnern geblasen wird. Claims

1. Deodorizing device, preferably for use in vehicles, comprising a housing (3), a fan (10) arranged therein, and at least one fragrance-providing agent placed in the airflow of the fan (10), characterized in that a fragrance body (2) is replaceably inserted in the housing (3) as the fragrance-providing agent, which is provided with air passages (17), such that the air is drawn in from the outside through the housing (3) by the fan (10) and blown through the fragrance body (2) and back outwards to deodorize, preferably, the interior of the vehicle.

2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the fan (10) and the fragrance body (2) are arranged one above the other in the preferably cylindrical housing (3), wherein the fragrance body (2) is inserted into the housing from the top.

Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the housing (3) is provided with a lid (4) detachably attached thereto, having one or more preferably slot-shaped outlet openings (5), wherein the lid (4) is dimensioned such that the fragrance body (2) can be inserted into or removed from the housing, which is open at the top, after the lid has been removed.

6. Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the fragrance body (2) is supported on a retaining ring (13) of the housing (3) arranged between it and the fan (10).

Device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that a fan wheel (12) of the fan (10) can be driven by an electric motor (9) held coaxially to it in the housing (3) with mounting sleeves (21), the latter being held at the bottom of the housing (3) at a distance enabling the air inlet (6).

8. Device according to claim 7, characterized in that air passage channels (11) are provided between the mounting sleeves (21) spaced apart from each other on the inner wall (3') of the housing (3), which are also limited by the inner wall (3') of the housing (3) and the electric motor (9).

9. Device according to one of claims 7 to 8, characterized in that the electric motor (9) of the fan (10) is provided with an externally accessible socket (18) for an electrical cable connection.

10. Device according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the outer diameter of the fragrance body (2) is smaller than the inner wall (3') of the housing (3) surrounding the fragrance body, so that an annular space (17') is formed between them as an air passage.
