To accelerate the construction, it is advantageous to assign the wooden components to their assemblies before starting the construction. In order to be able to distinguish the wooden structural elements, at least one label is usually arranged on each wooden structural element. The label is provided with manufacturing and product information of the corresponding wooden construction element. Today, such labels are usually provided with a large number of manufacturing and product information that it quickly becomes confusing for the person installing it.

The building person takes from assembly instructions how the individual wooden components must be assembled into assemblies and then to the finished wooden component. Even if a building person has already built several wooden components of the same type, it is difficult to assign the final position in the assembled wooden component to each wooden component without help. Since such wooden structural elements sometimes differ only slightly, the assembly nevertheless often proves to be difficult. Between the isolated state of the wooden structural elements and the fully assembled wooden component, the assembling person usually loses the imagination of what the wooden component will look like after assembly. With the help of the labels, the assembler can find out at any time which wooden component it is, but the assembly route can only be taken from the assembly instructions. If the individual wooden construction elements have not been sorted into assemblies before assembly, the construction becomes significantly more difficult.
