Abstract
Ein erfindungsgemässer Oberleitungsbus umfasst einen Stromabnehmer (11) zur Kontaktierung einer Gleichstrom führenden Oberleitung, mindestens einen Antriebsmotor (52, 57) zum Antreiben einer Antriebsachse, eine Stromversorgung zur Versorgung des mindestens einen Antriebsmotors (52, 57) mit Antriebsstrom und einen Hochleistungs-Energiespeicher (41, 42) zur Zwischenspeicherung von über den Stromabnehmer (11) aufgenommener elektrischer Energie. Die Stromversorgung umfasst einen Trenntransformator, der einen ersten, mit dem Stromabnehmer (11) verbundenen Abschnitt der Stromversorgung von einem zweiten Abschnitt der Stromversorgung galvanisch trennt, wobei der mindestens eine Antriebsmotor (52, 57) und der Hochleistungs-Energiespeicher (41, 42) im zweiten Abschnitt angeordnet sind. Durch die galvanische Trennung werden im zweiten Abschnitt der Stromversorgung die üblichen Spannungsspitzen vermieden. Entsprechend können elektrische Komponenten im zweiten Abschnitt, z. B. Umrichter, einfacher und damit leichter und kompakter aufgebaut werden. Ferner wird die Verwendung von flüssigkeitsgekühlten Komponenten ermöglicht.
