Abstract

Die besonders als Sport- oder Schutzbrille verwendbare Brille (1) weist mindestens ein Schutzglas (4) und mindestens zwei optische Augengläser (8, 9) auf. Erfindungsgemäss grenzen die mindestens zwei optischen Augengläser (8, 9) kantenseitig an das Schutzglas (4), das als durchgehendes Glasschild ausgebildet sein kann. In bevorzugter Ausführung sind die optischen Augengläser (8, 9) in jeweils einer Öffnung des Schutzglases (4) angeordnet. Für fast alle diese Funktionen sollte die Brille das Auge möglichst gut umschliessen. Das bedingt eine relativ grosse Glasfläche, die häufig sogar durchgehend ist, das heisst, sich als Glasschild über beide Augen erstreckt.
