The invention relates to a device for cooking, in particular grilling of foodstuffs. It should be simple to produce and safe to handle. It comprises a pan of steel with a bottom, lateral walls and a heating surface, which is horizontally or inclined at an angle of up to 5 ° to the floor, for cooking food which is connected to the lateral walls. According to the invention, the trough (12) is parallelepipedic, in particular cubic, and has a frame to which the floor (4), the lateral walls, consisting of side walls (1), front side (2) and rear wall (3), and the heating surface 6). The heating surface (6) has an opening.
Description
Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The invention relates to a device for cooking, in particular for grilling foodstuffs according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] The device comprises a pan of steel with a bottom, lateral walls and a heating surface arranged largely horizontally, possibly with slight inclination, for cooking food which is connected to the lateral walls.
[0003] Devices and devices for cooking foodstuffs are used both for individual and commercial purposes, both outdoors and in the kitchen sector.
[0004] For example, grills of different design and mode of operation are known in which the necessary heat energy is generated for cooking a food with different media.
[0005] Barbecue grills are widely spread with a container which has means for burning off gases or solids in the lower region and a grill grate spaced above, wherein the heat energy generated during the cutting process is to be guided to the griddle as much as possible.
[0006] Charcoal and combustible gases are widely used as fuel materials. EP 0 653 917 B1 discloses a gas grill for outdoor use, in which the gas burner is arranged annularly in the bottom region of a spherical container. Below the gas burner is arranged another container for the collection of dripping grease and others. Such grease drops are directed from a grate grate into the container for collecting them from a conical wall so that they can not reach the burner ring.
[0007] Wood charcoal grills are fundamentally similar in construction, instead of the gas burner there is provided an air-flowable fuel grate, on which the charcoal burns. Dripping of grease or other liquids into the glowing charcoal can be avoided by collecting trays or the like, in which the food to be cooked is placed on the grill grate.
[0008] In another embodiment, rock, for example lava stones, can also be heated by gas burners, which are then used as heat accumulators for the food to be cooked.
[0009] In order to avoid disadvantages of the aforementioned grilling devices, EP 2 143 362 B1 has proposed a device for cooking food from steel or cast iron which permits direct cooking at optimum cooking temperature over a longer period of time and using wood-based burning materials should. For this purpose, the device comprises a burner trough in the form of a cut ball or ellipsoid shell with a heating surface. The heating surface is designed in such a way that food can be cooked directly thereon and is a circular ring surface extending substantially at a right angle to the axis of rotation of the furnace trough. The outer edge of the heating surface is fixedly connected to the cutting edge of the combustion furnace.
[0010] The firing tank is movably mounted on a ring which rests on the ground.
The object of the invention is to further improve such a device for cooking foodstuffs or the like by notifying the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, it should be easy to produce and safe to handle.
[0012] The object is achieved with the characterizing features of patent claim 1. The apparatus according to the invention for cooking, in particular grilling of foodstuffs, comprises a parallelepipedal, in particular cubic tray of steel, which has a frame on which the floor, the lateral walls, consisting of side walls, front side and rear wall, and the heating surface are arranged. The heating surface has an opening and is arranged horizontally or inclined at an angle of up to 5 ° inwards towards the bottom.
[0013] Preferred embodiments are disclosed in the dependent claims.
[0014] The floor is very preferably continuous and closed, with an intermediate floor being drawn in and spaced parallel to the floor. Is sealed.
[0015] The intermediate floor is slotted and / or rust-shaped in the middle region, ie below the open area of the heating surface.
[0016] Advantageously, a movable drawer is provided between the floor and the intermediate floor, which drawer can be arranged below the slit and / or rusty region of the intermediate floor.
[0017] The heating surface (6) can be inclined inwards, preferably with an angle of up to approximately 5 °.
[0018] It is made of stainless steel, while the other parts of the tub are preferably made of Corten steel.
[0019] The walls can also be designed in duplicate, with shamotins as a heat accumulator between them and to prevent an excessively high temperature at the outer walls. The grill can also be mobile, for example with a chassis or the like.
[0020] The device according to the invention is low in corrosion, ensures a high level of comfort during grilling and a secure stand. Waste ash can be disposed of without affecting the environment.
[0021] The invention is described in more detail below in an exemplary embodiment by means of a drawing. In the drawing, the single figure shows the device according to the invention for grilling and cooking food in a perspective illustration in section.
The device comprises a cuboid frame, not shown, of a fire-proof, cubic tub 12, each of corten steel, on each of whose sides a side wall 1 of corten steel is welded, resp. The front side 2 and the rear wall 3. In the example, the walls 1, 2 and 3 have a length of 1200 mm and a height of 420 mm. The side walls 1 as well as the rear wall 3 are closed and may be decorated with ornaments.
On the bottom, a continuous bottom 4 of corten steel is welded. In operation, the floor 4 rests directly on a subsoil, for example on a barbecue place or in a garden.
[0024] Instead of the continuous floor 4, the walls 1, 2, 3 could also be lengthened and bent inwardly.
The heating surface 6 lying opposite the floor 4 is made of stainless steel and is likewise welded to the frame and is also welded at the edges to the side walls 1, front side 2 and rear wall 3. Distant from the floor 4, an intermediate floor 5 is drawn in by welding.
[0026] The side edges 10 are provided with tight, continuous welding seams.
[0027] All external weld seams are ground. The heating surface 6 is, for example, 10 mm thick and frame-shaped with a wide contact surface of 180-300 mm for the material to be cooked. The remaining rectangular opening 11 ensures optimum combustion or annealing of the combustion material located on the intermediate floor 5. Wood or charcoal is preferably used as the fuel. It burns on the intermediate floor 5 above a drawer 8 for the ash. In the area of the wooden support, the intermediate floor is slit or rusty, on the one hand for the diarrhea of the ash into the drawer 8 and, on the other hand, for the ventilation of the embers.
The width of the supporting surface of the heating surface 6 on the other hand provides good protection against the embers and nevertheless a high heat input from below through the embers as well as also reflecting from the side walls. The temperature decreases from the center to the outer edge, which opens up a wide range of uses for the cooking of different foodstuffs and the mere heating or warming of cooked foods.
The heating surface 6 is preferably slightly inclined inwards, for example with an angle of up to approximately 5 ° with respect to the side edges 10. Thus, all liquids emerging from the foodstuffs also run off. They can either evaporate or burn in the fire or a collecting channel with collecting container can be provided at the inner edge of the heating surface 6.
The drawer 8 is mounted on a roller and is provided on the front side with a handle 9, so that it can be simply pulled out and inserted through an opening 7 of the front side 2. In the case of prolonged non-use, the device can be tilted onto a side wall 1.
