Abstract

The invention relates to a process for stabilizing bundles of bottles (1) for preventing the bottles (1) PET assembled in bundles of quadrangular assume placements "quincunx". The process utilizes annular constraints (2), of which at least one is welded in at least one point of contact of the same constraint with a bottle (1).

Description

Description [0001] Up to now, and are still in use now, packaging or bundles of the bottles (1) PET were carried out by the application of thermo-retractable plastic material and had an advantage of simple and effective application not to mention a good efficiency. The bottles (1) were mostly assembled in packs of 4 most often of 6 units.
[0002] These containers, however, ended up costing significant amounts percentages especially for waters having a low price to the end customer.
[0003] Recently, the trend is moving towards packagings consisting of two annular ribbon ligatures (2) perpendicular to the vertical axes of the bottles (1) located mostly at the level of their neck and the wall of their body in addition to an annular ligation roach (2 ) surrounding perpendicularly to the first two used for the transport of which the total cost is significantly less expensive and at least as efficient.
[0004] In these new packaging, as in those made with plastic polymers thermo-portraying and how, for example, in bundles quadrangular six bottles (1), there are two arrays of vertical axes of three bottles (1) each on a vertical and parallel plane to another, while three pairs of the same bottles (1) are positioned with their vertical axes on three parallel planes between them parallel and perpendicular to the two planes of the three bottles (1) suaccennate. These packagings, without artifices or other devices, have an important problem of positional stability: ie allow the bottles (1) originally positioned with alignment of their vertical axes on all vertical planes perpendicular to each other, or in a quadrangular positioning, assume, as a result of any resulting forces applied at different points, and then creating an non-zero moment on the set of the bottles (1), a positioning "quincunx" that is, a positioning in which each plane containing at least a pair of vertical axes two bottles (1) is not perpendicular to the other two planes containing other couples or triads of bottles (1) but forms with said other corners plans 4/3 x 3,14 rad. To overcome this drawback various tricks or simple additional devices are used to stabilize the quadrangolatura. In general, these devices are constituted by suitably rigid sheets positioned between the necks of the bottles (1) or thanks to the expanded plastic solids interspersed between the bodies of the bottles (1) themselves.
[0005] The cost of all these tricks or devices will decrease in the future also to reduce the ecological damage caused by treatment for their destruction.
Description [0006] To better understand the use and functionality of the object of this invention procedure is necessary to know two concurrent conditions that regulate the mutual positioning of the bottles (1) packaged, or if you like, ribbon-like annular affardellate via constraints (2). 1) At any mutual positioning of an equal number of bottles (1) affardellate between the quadrangular positioning and that in "quincunx", the length of ribbon ties (2) does not change *** (NB means quadrangular normal positioning in which lie the bottles (1) affardellate or when the vertical axes of the bottles (1) parallel to each other, meeting a plane perpendicular to them, form a rectangle with the alignments of their meeting points with the above plan. *** in fact, : R (12 + 4/2 x 3,14 rad.) R = (12 + 3.14 / 3 rad. + 4 / 3x3.14 rad.) (See drawing n ° 4) 2) If any one of the bottles (1 ) affardellate and not subject to friction reactions or wheel inertia forces around its own axis, all the remaining bottles (1) in contact with and free to rotate with respect to each other rotate virtually along with it with the meaning of reciprocal rotation Inverted with bottles (1) or adjacent to it in such a way t ale that the angle of rotation of all the bottles (1) is always the same. (See drawing n ° 1) [0007] Given the above it is deduced that without the friction of the ribbon-like constraints on the bottles all placements between the bottles (1), comprised between what quadrangular and that at "quincunx", are unstable. However, since the friction of the ribbon-constraints (2) and the other resistors on the very limited bottles, it soon becomes clear that even small resulting non-zero forces and perpendicular to the axes of the bottles (1) and not passing through an array on a plane containing the point of application and the center of gravity (5) of the burden, creates a moment which tends to bring the burden to a positioning "quincunx".
[0008] The object, which is the procedure, which constitutes the present invention allows to block all the bottles (1) in their mutual position quadrangular.
[0009] Said process consists in welding the annular ribbon constraints (2) the bottles (1) the same in any points of their contact with the bottles (1), preferably but not limited by means of ultrasound. These welds (4) are more solid at the neck from the bottles (1). Furthermore, taking account of the above points 1) and 2) a single welding (4) is sufficient. In practice, a larger number is more efficient.

Claims (4)

[0010] The best solution and the solid is to make a weld (4) on the neck of each bottle (1), since the necks of the PET thickness is greater. [0011] It is obvious that in the case, for example, of 6 bottles (1), six welds (4) aligned along the alignment of the tangents of the necks, three on one side and three on that side of the burden facilitate the six welds ( 4), albeit redundant, contemporaneous on all six bottles (1). In practice only three welds (4) aligned along the hills on one side of the bundle are sufficient. [0012] Other welds (4) arranged differently are possible and will depend on the arrangement of the ultrasonic heads neirimpianto of shrink wrapping. [0013] These welds will be mostly carried out immediately after the machine application of two or three annular ribbon constraints (2) to the burdens. [0014] To separate the bottles (1) before their use welds (4) will be such that it can be easily broken by pulling the constraint annular weblike welded with a traction perpendicular to it. drawings Legend [0015] 1) Bottles 2) Constraints annular ribbon 3) caps 4) Welds 5) Centroid [0016] FIG. n ° 1 is a side view of a burden of 6 bottles 1 in quadrangular positioning, overstuffed with a weblike constraint annular 2 welded on the necks of three bottles 1 and a ribbon-like annular constraint 2 is not welded on the bodies of the bottles 1. In said figure can be seen three seals 4. [0017] fIG. No. 2 is a top view of the bundle shown in the drawing no.1. It is also noted, indicated with braids, virtual corners, equal and mutually inverse rotation compirebbero that all bottles 1 if there were no welds 4. [0018] FIG. n ° 3 represents a side view of a burden of 6 bottles 1 positioned in a "quincunx", overstuffed with two annular ribbon constraints. Constraints 2 is not welded can not prevent the transition into "quincunx". [0019] FIG. No. 4 is a top view of the bundle shown in the drawing n ° 3. In it can be seen the corners (3,14 / 6 rad.) And (4/3 x 3,14 rad.) Of the positioning characteristic "quincunx". [0020] For simplicity of illustration the annular ribbon constraints perpendicular to those tight around the bottles 1 and having a function of handles for the transport have not been illustrated. claims
