  [0001]    La présente invention a pour objet une composition désinfectante pour brosse à dents, qui se présente sous la forme d'une mono dose, destinée à l'immersion directe de la tête de la brosse à dent. L'invention a pour but de procurer une composition désinfectante pour la brosse à dents, en mono-dose, qui permette de remédier aux principaux inconvénients présentées par les compositions désinfectantes connues, à savoir: odeur et goût désagréable, durée d'efficacité limitée et usage compliqué.

  

[0002]    A cet effet, la composition suivant l'invention comprend de la chlorhexidine difluconate, un extrait de plante aromatique, un extrait de plante aux propriétés antiseptiques, un agent humectant.

  

[0003]    Suivant une forme de réalisation de l'invention, l'extrait de plante aromatique est le romarin. Suivant un mode de réalisation de l'invention, l'extrait de plante aux propriétés antiseptiques est la menthe.

  

[0004]    Suivant un mode de réalisation de l'invention, l'agent humectant est de la glycérine végétale.

  

[0005]    Suivant un mode de réalisation particulièrement avantageux de l'invention, la composition comprend, en poids, de 80 à 90% de glycérine végétale, de 4 à 10% d'eau déminéralisée, de 1.00 à 1.40% de chlorhexidine digluconate, de 2.0 à 5.0% d'extrait de romarin, de 2.0 à 5.0% d'extrait de menthe.

La composition suivant l'invention, qui est désinfectante pour brosse à dents, a pour caractéristique principale de permettre la dégradation du biofilm résiduel, après brossage, ladite composition présentant en outre l'avantage d'être constituée en majeure partie de produits organiques non toxiques pour l'homme.

  

[0007]    Cette composition dont l'odeur est neutre et qui contient, suivant l'invention et comme décrit ci-après, un dérivé de chlore, un extrait de plante aromatique, un extrait de plante aux propriétés antiseptiques, un agent humectant, a une réelle activité antiseptique rapide.

  

[0008]    La composition susdite peut également comprendre un colorant améliorant son aspect, ce colorant, introduit dans la composition à raison de 0.001% à 0.01% en poids, étant choisi parmi les colorants neutres par rapport aux constituants susdits.

  

[0009]    On a obtenu d'excellents résultats désinfectants sur brosse à dents, et en particulier des résultats durables, avec une composition comprenant en poids 88.35% de glycérine végétale, 5.60% d'eau déminéralisée, 1.40% de chlorhexidine digluconate, 2.15% d'extrait de romarin, 2.5% d'extrait de menthe.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the aromatic plant extract is rosemary. According to one embodiment of the invention, the plant extract with antiseptic properties is mint.

  

According to one embodiment of the invention, the humectant is vegetable glycerin.

  

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the composition comprises, by weight, from 80 to 90% of vegetable glycerin, from 4 to 10% of demineralised water, from 1.00 to 1.40% of chlorhexidine digluconate, 2.0 to 5.0% rosemary extract, 2.0 to 5.0% mint extract.

The aforesaid composition may also comprise a dye improving its appearance, this dye, introduced into the composition at a rate of 0.001% to 0.01% by weight, being chosen from neutral dyes relative to the aforementioned constituents.

  

Excellent toothbrush disinfectant results have been obtained, and in particular durable results, with a composition comprising, by weight, 88.35% vegetable glycerine, 5.60% demineralized water, 1.40% chlorhexidine digluconate, 2.15% of rosemary extract, 2.5% mint extract.

  

According to the invention, the disinfectant composition for a toothbrush, is in the form of a solution that can be packaged in single-dose thermoformed, allowing the direct dipping of the head of the toothbrush.
