Description

Description [0001] The present invention relates to a machine for the preparation and packaging of impregnated strips of perfumed essence, such as moth solutions, anti-mite and the like, to be placed inside cabinets or drawers.
[0002] According to the invention the machine comprises first means arranged to feed a certain number of strips of paper, cardboard or similar to the second means to pack it said strips, there being provided means adapted to dispense strips on a certain quantity of essence scented, or similar products, simultaneously with the operation of packaging.
The machine thus configured makes it possible to carry out the operation of packaging fragrance and totally automatically without the need for other operators if not carrying out the control of the machine itself.
[0003] In detail, said strips supply means are constituted by a vertical magazine containing a stack of said strips which are taken individually by means of a roller, preferably coated with a high coefficient of friction material such as rubber or similar, located below He said ream, and directed to an accumulation station, where by means of suitable sensors is counted the number of deposited strips.
Once reached the number of strips provided inside each package, a sled carrying the group of strips toward a carousel distributor which feeds the strips within the continuous packaging system that provides for the closing of the packages, there being provided a of perfumed essence dosing system which is delivered via a nozzle placed in correspondence of the rollers of thermo-welding of the packaging device.
[0004] Nowadays on the market there are no machines for the preparation and packaging of impregnated strips of scented essence that cater to food, fragrance and packaging of the strips in a totally automated.
[0005] In particular, the operations of fragrance and feeding of the packaging machine are currently performed manually by at least two operators which provide, first, to prepare the exact number of strips provided inside each package and immerse them inside of a pan containing the perfumed essence, the second, to feed he said strips prepared within the packaging machine and to manage the operation.
[0006] In addition to the economic disadvantage given by the need for more labor, the so-described system has a limited productivity from human capacity of the operator and another series of disadvantages such as increased consumption and the perfumed essence 'obligation for operators to wear masks and other protective, since it is in direct contact with a harmful substance if inhaled for a prolonged time.
[0007] To overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, the present invention proposes a machine for the preparation and packaging of impregnated strips of perfumed essence, as a moth or similar solutions, of the type comprising means to feed a number of strips of paper, cardboard or similar to the second means to pack said strips, there being provided means adapted to dispense strips on a certain quantity of scented essence, or similar products, simultaneously with the operation of packaging.
[0008] The present invention therefore allows to carry out the operations of fragrance and packaging of scented strips completely automatic requiring only an operator assigned to the control and supply of reams inside the charger, capable, given the small effort required , also operate on two machines simultaneously.
[0009] These and other features will be made clearer by the detailed description that follows, given by way of non-limiting example, with reference to the accompanying figures in which:
The fig. 1 is a side view of the machine according to the invention;

[0010] With reference to FIG. 1 attached, the machine for the preparation and packaging of impregnated strips of perfumed essence, such as moth solutions, anti-mite and the like, indicated as a whole with 1, comprises a base 2, within which are placed all the auxiliary devices such as motors, transmission, compressors, etc., one of the strips feeding unit generally indicated with 3, packaging unit indicated as a whole by 4 and a control panel indicated as a whole with 5.
[0011] Said feeding unit 3 in turn comprises a vertical loader 6, constituted by a pair of bulkheads 7, placed on a floor 8 and is adapted to contain a stack 9 of strips of paper, cardboard or similar materials, indicated with S .
[0012] A first roller 10, preferably coated with a rubber material or other high coefficient of friction material, is positioned at the bottom of the stack 9 in contact with the lower surface of the last of said pile strip 9 and is put into rotation by a electric motor, not visible in the figure, content within the crankcase 2. in the bottom of the magazine 6 is formed an opening 11 through which protrude the strips S dragged by the roller 10; a knife 12 placed at the exit opening 11 provides to browse the strips making advance only the last strip of the stack avoiding that the latter drags with it also those just adjacent.
[0013] An optical sensor 13 positioned in correspondence with said knife 12 counts the number of transited strips exiting from the cartridge and depending on the number of strips provided inside each package controls the starting and stopping of the first roller 10 .
[0014] A second motorized roller 14 is hinged to a support 15 fixed to the charger 6 and is positioned above the floor 8 so as to drag the strips S into an accumulation station indicated as a whole by A.
[0015] Said station comprises a vertical bulkhead 15a, driven by an actuator 16, movable from a lowered position, in which partially crosses the plane 8 preventing the passage of the strips S, in a raised position in which it does not interfere with the passage of said S. strips
[0016] A carriage 17 is arranged below the floor 8, sliding in the direction of advancement of the strips, ensures the transport of the package P strips accumulated towards a carousel distributor indicated with 23.
[0017] Said carriage is moved by a toothed belt 19 sliding on a first wheel 20, connected to a motor 21, and a second wheel 22 crowds; in the upper part of the carriage there is a vertical slide 18, cursor vertically, from a lowered position, in which it remains below the surface 24 of the floor 8, to a raised position in which it protrudes from said surface 24 through a slot 25 formed in the 8 floor.
[0018] At the end of the floor 8 is present a carousel distributor 23 hinged on the base provided with one or more pockets 26 adapted to receive the package strips P coming from the accumulation station and direct it toward the wrapping unit 4.
[0019] In particular, the distributor member rotates so as to bring the pocket from a substantially horizontal position and aligned with the floor 8, in which it receives the package P carried by the carriage 17, in a substantially vertical position in which said package P is pushed by a punch 27 inside of the mouth 28 of packing unit 4. Said packaging unit comprises a mouthpiece 28 which directs the package P towards the sealing rollers 29 where they are heated continuously fed two films 30 of packaging material , which are welded along the side edge from said rollers 29 to form a continuous tube 31.
[0020] During the insertion of the package P inside the tube 31, a pump 42 delivers a dose of scented essence on the tube strips through a nozzle 43 placed in correspondence with the output 28 or in any case upstream of the rollers 29.
[0021] In cascade with the roller 29 is placed a heat-sealing pliers 32 equipped with two jaws 33 opposed and arranged transversely to the direction of the tube feed 31, adapted to realize a weld 34 along the transverse direction which is in part the closure top of a package and in part the top closure of the previous one.
[0022] Said gripper is mounted on a support 44 sliding vertically on guides 45 and operated by an actuator 46.
[0023] The last packaging unit station is constituted by a conveyor plane 35 on which a feeler 36 upstream of a trap 37 is mounted which separates the packaging by performing a transverse cut at each weld 34 of the tube 31 .
[0024] Said feeler 36 detects, through the package thickness, any empty packaging or containing a smaller number of strips than those provided, and depending on what commands the 37th bulkhead which is in non-operative position sends the single package cut (C ) into the container of good products 38 or, in the case of an empty package or non-compliant, rotates around the pin 40 and sends the packs inside the waste container 39.
[0025] The operation of the machine is carried out as described below: a certain predetermined number of the strips S are picked up from the magazine by the roller 10 and, in cooperation with the roller 14, are sent to the accumulating station 15 where they are blocked by 15a bulkhead that It is lowered.
[0026] Once reached the number of strips intended for the packaging, the bulkhead 15a is raised and the cursor 18 of the carriage 17 is raised to ensure that during the horizontal translation, said carriage can drag the package P to the distributor carousel 23, inside the pocket 26. said distributor once received the package P rotates bringing the pocket containing the package in an upright position and aligned with the opening 28 of the packaging system 4.
[0027] A punch 27 then pushes said packet inside of the mouth 28, and the pump 42 at the same time delivers a dose of scented essence on the strips package (P) through a nozzle 43 placed in correspondence with the output 28 .
[0028] Said pipe 31 is accomplished by welding the side edges of the two films 30 through the pair of heated rollers 29, and thereafter, it is welded along transverse sections 34 by the jaws 33. These jaws are vertically movable so as to be able to maintain the pressure on the tube 31 for a few seconds during the advancement of the tube 31 inside the machine to allow the two strips to adhere perfectly.
[0029] The strip of sealed packs welded assembly is then sent to a trap which runs transversely with respect to the direction of advance of said strip separating the individual packages (C); upstream of the trap the feeler
