Fig. 3).
Fig. 6).
The invention relates to a therapy or exercise device, with movable standing plates on which a person can stand each with one foot.
There are various passive balance training devices known and available on the market, which usually consist of a hemisphere and a plate, where on the plate bipedal balance is to be maintained.
The present invention has for its object to provide a balance training device that allows a much more effective increase in the sense of coordination and balance.
This object is achieved according to the invention by a balance training device with the features of claim 1.
Further preferred embodiments of the inventive therapy or training device form the subject of the dependent claims.
The therapy or exercise device according to the invention with two spaced, pivotable by two XY axes each in an angular range standing plates that are independently controlled movable, not only allows the balance by reacting immediately to movements of the It can also be used for both passive and active therapy. It is possible the movements of the standing plates controlled, but at the same stochastic perform.
The therapy or training device according to the invention can be used on the principle of stochastic resonance for improving the postural control (posture), balance or gait safety, for Reizinitierung of muscles, ligaments or joints and for rehabilitation or prevention. It can also be used for diagnostic purposes (malpositions, muscle mass). Not least, the use of sports training to mention.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. Show it:

<Tb> FIG. 2 <sep> is a schematic diagram of the device of Fig. 1;
<Tb> FIG. 3 <sep> a standing plate of the device of Figure 1in side view.
<Tb> FIG. 4 <sep> the standing plate and a device for pivoting in vertical section;
<Tb> FIG. Fig. 5 shows a universal joint as part of the device of Fig. 4; and
<Tb> FIG. 6 <sep> a schematic diagram of the inventive pivoting of the standing plate.
Fig. 1 shows a therapeutic or training device 1 according to the invention with two, each with one foot enterable, identically formed standing plates 2, which are arranged on a preferably made of profile rails underframe 3 at a distance from each other. As indicated schematically in FIG. 2, the distance A of the two standing plates 2 can be adjusted by displacement on the profile rails (arrow directions a) and, for example, be 150 to 500 mm.
The standing plates 2 are shown in Fig. 2um each two XY axes in both directions of rotation. For this purpose, a universal joint 4 (FIGS. 1 and 4 and 5) is arranged under the respective standing plate 2. As will be described in more detail below, the standing plates 2 are independently controlled by means of two horizontally arranged linear motors 10, 11 and thereby pivoted from the horizontal position in an angular range a, the maximum + - 20 ° (see Fig. 3).
4 and 5, the universal joint 4 comprises a mounted on the standing plate 2 holder 15 with two downwardly directed walls 16, in which a, for example, the axis X forming shaft 17 is mounted. The perpendicular to this axis Y is then formed by a shaft 18 which is mounted in two walls 19 (Fig. 5) of a mounted on the base 3, stationary stand 20. As a bearing 21 angular contact ball bearings are preferably used, which are also suitable for receiving high axial forces. A about the XY axes or the shafts 17, 18 of the universal joint 4 pivotable pivot member 22 is connected to a downwardly projecting lever 25, at the lower end of a pivot bearing 26 is arranged, the lever 25 with the already mentioned linear motors 10, 11 connects. These are preferably designed as electric cylinders.
The linear motors 10, 11 are in the Fig. 4 corresponding starting position, in which the standing plate 2 is horizontal, directed at right angles to each other. They are pivotable in their area facing away from the joint bearing 26 about a Z-axis. By controlled actuation of the linear motors 10, 11, the position of the hinge bearing 26 can be changed in the XY plane and the standing plate 2 are pivoted via the lever 25 accordingly. The pivoting movement is determined by means of two angles (see Fig. 6). The already mentioned angle a determines the inclination of the standing plate 2 to the horizontal plane.
With a so-called effective angle ss the orientation of the pivot axis is defined, by which the standing plate 2 will move. At an effective angle ss of 0 [deg.], The standing plate 2 moves, for example, about the Y-axis and the linear motor 10 in the X-direction. If the effective angle ss is 90 [deg.], The standing plate 2 moves about the X-axis and the linear motor 11 in the Y-direction. If this effective angle ss is changed dynamically, the standing plate 2 can also perform circular movements.
The two standing plates 2 can be controlled independently of one another according to desired specifications, so that as many everyday situations as possible can be reproduced for therapeutic purposes, for example. The control of the standing plates 2 includes the adjustment of the effective angle ss, the amplitude of the pivoting movement and the frequency. The standing plates 2 can be operated at high frequencies and small deflection and at low frequency and large deflection. The frequency is preferably adjustable in the range of 1 to 20 Hz. Important is the randomness of the frequency, so that the human body can not get used to the movement, which would affect the effect of the device.
The standing plates 2 should be controlled, but stochastically simultaneously moved (stochastic frequency band 0.5-1 Hz). There are generated for each standing plate 2, the two signals of the linear motors 10, 11 on a PC and passed on analogously to the motor control. Starting from the angle of the standing plate 2, the position signals of the two linear motors 10, 11 are generated by vector conversion.
The standing plates 2 can be moved computer-controlled synchronously or asynchronously. An active movement can be specified or a passive movement can be supported.
If necessary, an enlarged, accessible with both feet base plate can be placed on one of the standing plates 2 to perform exercises bipedal.
The therapy or exercise device according to the invention can be used on the principle of stochastic resonance to improve postural control (posture), balance or gait safety, for the re-initiation of muscles, ligaments or joints and for rehabilitation or prevention. It can also be used for diagnostic purposes (malpositions, muscle mass). Not least, the use of sports training to mention. For this purpose, the standing plates could also in height, i. be arranged variably in a Z-axis. The lever 25 may therefore be telescopically extendable and controlled by an additional linear motor height adjustable.
The two pivotable and independently controllable standing plates could in principle be constructed differently than shown. Thus, the storage of the standing plates could be designed differently, for example by a ball joint, and on the other hand, instead of linear motors other drives could be used, such as motors with gears.
