Description

The present invention relates to a process for the production of commodities or goods for everyday use.
WO 03/104 314 A1 describes a process for processing polyester waste, for example waste PET.
In this process, shreds, washed and dried chips of waste polyester are heated to a temperature of 130 ° C + 5 ° C. At this temperature, a defined modifying agent is added in an amount of from 4% to 6% by weight, based on the total weight.
Thereafter, the resulting mixture is stirred for about 60 minutes at this temperature.
Subsequently, this mixture is placed in an extruder, heated to a temperature of 240 [deg.] C to 250 ° C. and extruded. The extrudate is pelletized.
The final products of this process are amorphous pellets.
That is, the melt, which has a temperature of 240 ° C to 250 ° C, has been cooled to room temperature after it has been extruded. This also means that the liquid state of matter has been converted into the solid state of matter.
For any further processing into commodities or goods for daily use, these pellets must be dried and remelted.
WO 2006/006 064 A1 describes crystallized polyethylene terephthalate, PET, which contains silicon in bonded form and integrated into the molecular structure of PET.
This reference also describes a process for the production of amorphous PET containing silicon in bonded form and integrated into the molecular structure of PET, and a process for producing crystallized PET containing silicon in bonded form and integrated into the molecular structure of PET contains.
In these processes, to molten PET is added not more than 4% by weight, based on the total mass, of at least one modifying agent containing silicon capable of combining low molecular weight fragments of PET.
That is, the melt, which has a temperature of 260 ° C. to 300 ° C., has been cooled to room temperature after it has been extruded. This also means that the liquid state of matter has been converted into the solid state of matter.
To obtain said modified crystallized PET, the amorphous PET is maintained at a temperature of 135 ° C to 165 ° C for about 30 minutes to 2 hours. This is followed by cooling to room temperature.
For any further processing into commodities or everyday goods, this modified crystallized PET must be dried and remelted in the form of pellets.
Any process for the production of everyday commodities or goods begins with a raw material in a solid state in the form of either pellets or chips.
This raw material must be melted for further processing.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel process for the production of everyday commodities or goods for daily use.
In this process, selected waste materials are to be processed into useful commodities or commodities for daily use.
It is a further object of the present invention to reduce the amount of post-consumer, ie spent, polymeric waste increasing from year to year by converting this waste into useful commodities or everyday goods.
In this process, the final products should have the same level of quality or even a better level than a similar product made from virgin raw material or from several virgin raw materials, for example PET.
In this method, the energy consumption should be minimized.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a simple and inexpensive method of manufacturing commodities or goods for daily use.
With the present invention, these goals are achieved.
The present invention relates to a process for the production of everyday commodities or goods, which is characterized in that a melt of a polymeric or copolymeric material, silicon in bonded and integrated into the molecular structure of the polymeric or copolymeric material form contains, is processed by standard injection molding technologies or by means of standard extrusion technologies for each desired commodity or the respective desired commodity for daily use, and that this commodity or this commodity is obtained for daily use,
wherein said melt of a polymeric or copolymeric material is obtainable by one of the following versions:
