Abstract

Watch or clock face has two rotating disks for displaying the minutes and one inner rotating disk for displaying the hours. An inner minute disk rotates once per hour and the current minute indication is the indication that is most clearly legible when the inner disk aligns with the outer minute disk.

Description

   Technisches Gebiet

   Innere Scheibe: (leer), 50, 55, 10, 30, 20, 5, 35, 40, 15, 25, 45 (Fig. 2)

Technical field

The invention relates to a dial for displaying the current time. State of the art

The display is designed so that it can be attached to existing clockworks. Detailed presentation

The dial has two disks of different sizes to display the minutes. The upper parts of the minute numbers are shown on the outer, immovable disk (Fig. 1), on the smaller inner disk (Fig. 2), which can be attached to the mechanism of the minute hand, i.e. rotates 360 degrees in one hour, the lower parts of the minute numbers are shown on the outer edge. The inside of the disc is made of transparent material (Fig. 2a).

The order of the minute numbers shown on the two discs is different, in such a way that only the upper and lower minutes corresponding to the correct minute meet on the outer and inner minute discs at the corresponding minutes corresponding number of minutes is then displayed correctly.

A third, even smaller disc can be attached to the mechanics of the hour hand. The hour hand runs below the minute hand on a normal watch, so part of the minute disc above is made of clear material to show the hour numbers.

The hour disc shows the hours in which the disc rotates by 360 ° in 12 hours and the correct number of hours can be seen in the upper area of the disc through the transparent area of the minute disc. (Where the number 12 would be on a normal watch.)

The specially designed order of the split minutes shown is as follows:

   Outer pane: (empty), 5, 45, 20, 30, 50, 15, 55, 35, 25, 40, 10 (Fig. 1)

   Inner pane: (empty), 50, 55, 10, 30, 20, 5, 35, 40, 15, 25, 45 (Fig. 2)

The hour numbers on the hour disc are arranged counterclockwise. The display on the arrangement shown in FIG. 4 is 11:30 a.m. List of the drawings Fig. 1: Dial, outer minute disc. Fig. 2: dial, inner minute disc. Fig. 2a: dial, inner minute disc, transparent part. Fig. 3: dial, hour disc. Fig. 4: Entire, assembled dial. Display: 11:30 a.m.

Claims (3)

1. Dial with minute display, consisting of an outer and an inner disc, characterized in that the minute numbers are separated so that only the upper parts of the minute numbers are shown on the outer disc and only the lower parts of the minute numbers on the inner disc. 2. 2. Dial according to claim 1, characterized in that the minute numbers are arranged on both disks in a certain order which differs from the usual chronological arrangement, so that the correct minute time is represented by the rotation of the inner disk and the meeting of the two corresponding numbers becomes. 3.
