The invention relates to a vehicle seat arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.
Due to the inclined position of the vehicle when driving off-road, the driver must adopt a crooked and uncomfortable posture, which has an adverse effect on his safety and health.
The known disadvantages of a known, currently used, manually pivotable vehicle seat arrangement which only allows three settings (O position and maximum right or maximum left pivoted position):
Initially, three positions in the field with changing slopes are not sufficient for an optimal adjustment of the seating position. Furthermore, the driver's seat must be swiveled from the extreme left to the extreme right position when changing the incline on the terrain (e.g. when changing the direction of travel on a slope). If the driver still has to operate additional devices (e.g. a mower) in this situation, he is forced to bring the vehicle to a standstill during the changeover process.
In a vehicle seat arrangement corresponding to the preamble of claim 1, which is known from DE 3 715 128 A1, an adjustment device is provided for the automatic adjustment of the vehicle seat into the horizontal position. The adjusting device is designed here as a torque generating device which, when the vehicle is on a slope, generates a correction torque which is dependent on the inclination of the vehicle and which counteracts the torque acting on the seat arrangement by gravity on a slope.
However, there are disadvantages here, since only relatively small angles of inclination can be compensated at all, since the adjustment path is severely limited by the special seat arrangement of DE 3 715 128 A1 and the main aim is to compensate for lateral accelerations, which only requires relatively small adjustment paths. Furthermore, the construction of the generic vehicle seat arrangement is very complex and requires a mechanically complicated pendulum arrangement in order to be able to detect the slope of the slope. Furthermore, due to the special design of the generic vehicle seat arrangement, the entire control and adjustment device must be integrated in the vehicle seat, so that existing vehicle seats cannot be retrofitted with these components.
Another vehicle seat assembly is known from U.S. Patent 3,713,617. This arrangement also has a complicated structure in which, as in the case of the generic arrangement, the entire regulating and adjusting device must also be integrated in the seat. Furthermore, in this arrangement, the pivot axis is fixed on the vehicle chassis, while the vehicle seat is fixed on a housing of the control and adjustment device. To compensate for different slopes, this requires pivoting the entire housing with its regulating and adjusting device together with the vehicle seat.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle seat arrangement of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1, which is of simple and robust construction, enables the driver to have an optimal sitting position in any inclined position of his vehicle and which makes retrofitting possible.
This object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
The vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention makes it possible for the driver to automatically assume the best seating position for him in any inclined position of the vehicle. This prevents uncomfortable postures and prevents long-term damage to health. In critical driving situations, the driver is relieved because he can concentrate fully on the driving process and any additional functions that may be required. This significantly increases driving safety. The vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention thus contributes to an increase in the ease of use, and the fact that the changeover processes are omitted saves a significant amount of time.
Another special advantage of the vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention is that its adjustment device requires only minimal interventions in the components of the vehicle seat itself. These are limited to the provision of a transmission element, which is preferably designed as a link lever, and is connected to the rotary shaft that makes the pivoting of the vehicle seat possible. Here, the link lever is arranged outside the vehicle seat construction itself, so that the seat, the seat back and the console of the vehicle seat do not have to be changed. This results in the particular advantage that even existing seat constructions can be easily retrofitted with the adjustment device according to the invention.
Likewise, it is easily possible to equip the vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention with the adjustment device according to the invention ex works.
Furthermore, there is the advantage that the seat adjustment device according to the invention can be easily switched on and off and that all the seat functions provided as standard can be maintained. This includes in particular a longitudinal adjustment of the vehicle seat, that is an adjustment of the vehicle seat in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, in order in particular to be able to adapt the distance to the steering wheel according to the needs of the respective driver.
It is also possible to provide a wide variety of drive variants for the seat adjustment. Electric, hydraulic or pneumatic drives are preferably used.
Furthermore, the vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention or the adjustment device according to the invention enables the connection of additional functions, such as, for example, keeping the load horizontal, if the vehicle seat is mounted in a loadable vehicle.
There are also advantages since the regulation of the vehicle seat adjustment can be adjusted very easily, for example as regards the inertia of the adjustment or the initial value of the adjustment.
Furthermore, it is possible to provide the vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention with an optical or also acoustic or an optically / acoustically combined warning display when a maximum inclined position is reached.
Finally, the vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention makes it possible to adapt or change the seat adjustment speed as a function of the respective driving speed.
The dependent claims contain advantageous developments of the invention.
In particular, in view of the simple retrofittability explained above, which makes the invention possible, the invention relates to an adjustment device for a vehicle seat as an independently tradable object. This adjustment device is preferably see ver with a rotary shaft located below the seat surface of the vehicle seat, which forms an axis of rotation extending in the direction of travel, and about which the seat can be pivoted relative to the vehicle body by means of an actuator which for automatic adjustment of the vehicle seat into its horizontal position via a depending on the inclined position of the vehicle controllable control member, preferably a valve, is adjustable.
The adjusting device according to the invention is characterized in that the rotary shaft is connected in a rotationally fixed manner at a distance from the vehicle seat to a linkage lever, on the free end of which the actuator engages. The adjusting device is preferably also provided with an electronic leveling scale which is attached to the vehicle seat and which serves to control the valve in accordance with the inclined position of the vehicle.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
It shows:
1 is a schematically slightly simplified rear view of a vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention,
2 a representation corresponding to FIG. 1 of a side view of the seat arrangement according to FIG. 1,
3 shows a circuit diagram to explain the mode of operation of the vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention,
4 a representation corresponding to FIG. 1 of a second embodiment of the vehicle seat arrangement according to the invention,
Fig. 5 is a representation corresponding to FIG. 1 of a further embodiment.
1 and 2, an inventive vehicle seat assembly 1 is shown, which in FIG. 1 shows the driver's seat 2 in rear view, while in FIG. 2 the driver's seat 2 is illustrated in side view.
The seat 2 of the seat arrangement 1 is fastened on a rotary shaft 4, which forms an axis of rotation and is located below the seat surface 3 and is in turn mounted in a pivot bearing 5.
At the free end of the rotary shaft 4, a link lever 6 is attached. 1 and 2 illustrates, an adjusting device 7 engages on the articulation lever 6 for the automatic adjustment of the vehicle seat 2 into the horizontal position corresponding to the inclined position of the vehicle.
1 and 2 illustrates, the pivot bearing 5 is fixed to the vehicle symbolized by the block 10 by means of a holding plate 11. The free end 12 of the rotary shaft 4, which supports the vehicle seat 2 pivotably on its bracket 13, is guided through the bearing shell 14 of the pivot bearing 5 in such a way that the articulated lever 6 can be fixed in a rotationally fixed manner on the end region protruding from the bearing shell 14. The console 13 of the vehicle seat 2 and the rotary shaft 4 cooperating with it are preferably designed such that the vehicle seat 2 can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction L of the rotary shaft 4 and thus in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle 10, without this affecting the adjustment device 7 in its mode of operation.
In other words, this means that it is possible, for example, to mount the rotary shaft 4 in a fixed position relative to the vehicle 10, so that the vehicle seat 2 can be moved in the longitudinal direction relative to the rotary shaft 4 for adjustment in the longitudinal direction L. In order to enable the longitudinal adjustment of the vehicle seat 2, it is also conceivable to design the entire adjustment device 7 together with the vehicle seat 2 to be adjustable in the longitudinal direction L of the vehicle 10.
1 and 2 further illustrate, the adjusting device 7 in the example has an actuating cylinder 15, the piston rod 16 of which is pivotally articulated on the pivot bearing 5 opposite the upper end region 17 of the link lever 6 by means of a pivot pin 18. The housing 19 of the actuating cylinder 15 is pivotably mounted in a second pivot bearing 20 fixed to the vehicle 10. As illustrated in particular in FIG. 1, pressure medium connections 21 and 22 are provided on the housing 19 of the actuating cylinder 15, which are connected to pressure medium lines 23 and 24.
These pressure medium lines lead via an actuator 9, which is preferably designed as a directional control valve, to pressure connections A, B, which can lead to a hydraulic or pneumatic system, which either forms a unit belonging to the basic equipment of the vehicle 10, or is a separate device.
An electronic measuring device 28, preferably in the form of an electronic leveling balance, attached to the backrest 27 of the vehicle seat 2, determines the inclined position of the vehicle seat 2 or of the vehicle 10 and accordingly outputs signals to the directional control valve 9 via signal lines 29 and 30. The pressure connections 21 and 22 of the actuating cylinder 15 are controlled by this signal connection, so that the piston rod 16 is retracted or extended depending on the inclined position of the vehicle 10. The resulting positions of the vehicle seat 2 are symbolized by the dash-dotted seat positions 2¾ and 22¾.
To determine the inclined position, the electronic leveling scale 28 emits a signal to the electrically controlled directional valve 9 when the inclined position begins. The directional control valve 9 regulates the flow to the actuating cylinder 15 in proportion to the inclined position of the vehicle 10. It is thus possible, by means of the adjusting device 7, to pivot the vehicle seat 2 into a horizontal position depending on the inclined position of the vehicle 10. As mentioned, this is symbolized in FIG. 1 by the dash-dotted lines,
3 shows the circuit diagram of the automatic seat adjustment in which the adjustment device or the drive 7 for seat adjustment, the electrically controlled directional valve or solenoid valve 9 and the leveling scale or the level control electronics 28 and their connection to one another are shown to explain the function. The position identified by reference numeral 25 is the closed O position.
4 shows a second embodiment of the invention, the main difference of which can be seen in the design of the actuating cylinder 15 as an electrically controlled actuating cylinder. Correspondingly, the lines 23 and 24 which drive the actuating cylinder 15 lead as electrical lines via a relay box 32 to a current source 31, which can be an on-board current source or a separate current source (12 V or 24 V).
The control is again carried out in accordance with the signal of the leveling scale 28 via the signal lines 29 and 30, so that reference can be made to the description of FIGS. 1 and 2 for all corresponding features.
Limit switches 33, 34 are preferably attached to the actuating cylinder 15 and detect the extreme positions of the piston rod. The limit switches 33 and 34 are connected to the relay box 32 via signal lines 35 and 36, so that when one of the two end positions is reached, the actuation of the actuating cylinder 15 can be stopped via the then active limit switches 33 or 34.
In addition, in the particularly preferred embodiment shown in FIG. 4, a warning device 37 is provided, which may consist of a warning lamp 38 and / or a buzzer 39, which are signal-connected to the actuating cylinder 15 via lines 40 and 41, respectively. It is thus possible to emit an acoustic and / or visual alarm when one of the two extreme positions of the actuating cylinder 15 is reached.
5 shows a further particularly preferred embodiment of a vehicle seat arrangement 1 according to the invention. With regard to all matching parts which are provided with the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1, reference can be made to the preceding explanation.
In contrast to the embodiment according to FIG. 1, a double-acting sliding cylinder 42 is provided in the embodiment according to FIG. 5, which is connected via struts 43 and 44 to the vehicle 10 or a fixed bearing attached to it. 5 illustrates, the sliding cylinder 42 is connected with its piston rod 45 to the upper end of the articulation lever 6. If the directional valve 9 is acted upon by the signal lines 29 and 30 with a signal generated by the leveling scale 28, the sliding cylinder 42 is actuated accordingly via the lines 43 and 44 and pivots the linkage lever 6 in order to adjust the horizontal position of the seat.
As an alternative to the sliding cylinder shown in FIG. 5, it is also possible to arrange a rotary cylinder directly on the rotary shaft 4. Such a rotary cylinder has the advantage of a particularly compact design. In this embodiment, the rotary cylinder is also controlled via the generated signals and produces the horizontal position of the same by rotation which is transmitted to the seat.
