The invention relates to a device for holding a sack, in particular a rubbish bag, in a container according to the preamble of claim 1. Such holding devices are present in practically all refuse containers in the household, in particular where the cover of the refuse container either via a foot switch or by open the kitchen furniture that hides the container. The holding frame can be designed as a separate component, or it can also be formed directly through the upper edge of the container.
A problem with known devices is that usually only a certain bag size can be clamped onto the frame. In particular, the rubbish bags subject to charges are standardized, whereby in Switzerland, for example, 17-liter and 35-liter rubbish bags are the most common. In many cases it would be desirable to be able to attach both small and large garbage bags in the same container, depending on the amount of rubbish. Because of the unpleasant smell, it is also necessary to change the bags regularly, regardless of the degree of filling, which is uneconomical for large garbage bags that are only partially filled.
A holding device for household garbage bags has become known from DE-U 9 014 440.6, in which rubbish bags of various sizes can be used. A clamping ring consisting of a sheet metal strip with an adjustable variable diameter is used as the holding frame. The desired circumference of the circular clamping ring can be determined using a clamp. The clamping ring is attached to a retaining clip that can be attached to the edge of the waste container. However, this solution has the disadvantage that manipulation of the holding frame is necessary every time the bag size is changed.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a device of the type mentioned at the outset, with the aid of which sacks of different sizes can be clamped without additional manipulations. The handling should be as simple as possible, and other functions of the container such as Extending, opening the lid etc. should not be impaired. This object is achieved according to the invention with a device which has the features in claim 1.
The clamping means arranged separately from one another on the circumference of the holding frame make it possible to determine a larger or a smaller clamping circumference without the need to adjust components. The sack is placed exactly the same at its upper edge area from the inside of the frame outwards over the clamping means, however, depending on the size of the sack mouth, all or only a part of the clamping means are used.
The clamping means advantageously have a plurality of material webs directed against the outside of the frame. In this way, a rubbish bag made of plastic material can be stretched particularly well because it has a certain inherent elasticity and because the bag engages over the material webs without being damaged. Of course, any other clamping means would be conceivable, for example in the form of material tongues, balls, etc. arranged at a distance from one another
For optimal use of space, the holding frame is preferably of rectangular design, with at least one material web extending over each corner and, furthermore, at least one web-free zone each being arranged on parallel sides of the holding frame. The web-free zones allow even a smaller sack to be turned inside out. This is made easier by the fact that a recess is provided in the frame in the area of the web-free zones.
The holding frame can be an adapter frame that can be placed on the upper edge region of a container. Alternatively, a holding frame according to the invention could also be integrated directly into the container. The separate adapter frame has the advantage, however, that the sack can be put up comfortably outside the container and at the desired working height. When using an adapter frame, the circumference of the container mouth is advantageously larger than the largest clamping circumference defined by the clamping means. This measure makes it possible to completely fill a large rubbish bag, for example with a volume of 35 liters, without making it difficult to open it. Nevertheless, the filled sack can be easily lifted out of the container together with the adapter frame.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawings and will be described in more detail below. Show it:
1 is a perspective view of a refuse container with an adapter frame according to the invention,
2 the adapter frame covered with a small rubbish bag according to FIG. 1,
3 shows a cross section through the adapter frame according to FIGS. 1 and
4 shows a top view of the adapter frame according to FIG. 1.
Fig. 1 shows a waste bin 2, as it can be attached, for example, in the pull-out compartment of a kitchen furniture. The container is provided with an articulated handle 9, and its upper edge 13 runs on a plane which is beveled relative to the standing surface. At this level, the lid, not shown here, is firmly mounted in the kitchen furniture, so that when the container 2 is pushed back, it rests approximately sealingly on the upper edge 13. However, the device according to the invention could also be implemented in any other container system. Of course, the container and the sack do not necessarily have to be intended to hold rubbish. Picking containers for fruit or berries, sorting containers for industrial purposes or the like could also be equipped with a holding frame according to the invention.
The container shown in Fig. 1 is provided with inwardly directed ribs 7 which form a shoulder 8 below the upper edge 13. The holding frame or adapter frame, designated as a whole with 3, can be placed on these shoulders. Details of this adapter frame can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4. It is preferably made in one piece from plastic material and has a peripheral support flange 10 which rests on the shoulders 8 mentioned (FIG. 1). Individual material webs 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d are arranged on a circumferential inner wall 11. These material webs are directed outwards and run approximately parallel to the support flange 10. Reinforcing ribs 12 between the material webs and the support flange ensure the necessary mechanical stability.
However, these material webs also perform a centering function by preventing the upper edge of the sack from being pulled over the material webs 4a to 4d on one side.
The material webs extend over every corner of the right-angled holding frame, but a web-free zone remains on the parallel sides 5a and 5b. A recess 6a and 6b is also arranged in the inner wall 11 in the area of these zones.
In this way, the material webs 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d define a maximum covering area A1, with the center Z1, which corresponds approximately to the entire frame area. If, however, only the material webs 4b and 4c are covered with a smaller sack, this defines an area A2 with the center Z2 which corresponds approximately to half the frame area. The two cutouts 6a and 6b make it possible in the simplest way to turn the smaller sack inside the upper edge area.
Fig. 2 shows the adapter frame 3, which is only covered with a small garbage bag 1. Half of the adapter frame remains free. A further advantage of the invention becomes apparent. It is conceivable to attach two or more bags in the same frame and thus in the same container. This can be very advantageous, for example, when separating household waste into different categories.
