So zeigen
The invention is based on a plug end closure for connecting a power cable provided with a cable lug at one end to an electrical device with a prefabricated, T-shaped insulating body made of an elastic material, a contact bolt for connecting the power cable to the electrical device, which is in a bore of the insulating body can be electrically conductively connected to the cable lug of the power cable, and a closure body inserted into a mounting opening of the insulating body forming a section of the bore (DE 3 607 441 A1).
For connecting power cables to electrical devices such as DE 3 607 441 A1 discloses a plug-in end closure with a prefabricated, T-shaped insulating body on a transformer or on a switchgear assembly, on the one hand for receiving a correspondingly prepared and provided with a cable lug and on the other hand for plugging onto a bushing insulator of the electrical device is trained. The insulating body, which is formed from an elastic material, is surrounded by a metal housing and has a shield electrode surrounding the cable lug and a field control element.
To connect the cable lug to a contact bolt arranged in a through-bore of the insulating body and making electrical contact with the electrical device, an assembly opening forming a section of the through-bore is provided in the insulating body, into which a closure body is inserted after assembly. The mounting opening of the insulating body and the inserted closure body are designed such that they taper in the shape of a truncated cone in the direction facing the contact bolt. To fasten the closure body in the assembly opening, a nut is embedded in the closure body at its end facing the contact bolt. With the help of this nut, the closure body can be screwed onto a threaded attachment on the head of a contact screw connecting the cable lug with the contact bolt.
The closure body is provided with a lid-like cap which is anchored in the closure body via a shaped piece and to which a hexagon head is molded.
This known plug-in closure, with its nut embedded in the closure body and the cap anchored in the closure body by means of the shaped piece, has a comparatively complex structure. In addition, the screwing and unscrewing of the closure body during assembly or disassembly of the plug end closure on or from the power cable is relatively time-consuming.
Starting from the push-in end closure known from DE 3 607 441 A1, the invention is therefore based on the problem of enabling the locking body pushed into an assembly opening of the insulating body to be assembled and disassembled as simply and securely as possible, and the plug-in end closure to be constructed in a simple manner.
This problem is solved by the invention in that the mounting opening widens in the shape of a truncated cone, starting from an end face of the insulating body facing away from the cable lug, the closing body widens in a truncated cone starting from its end facing away from the cable lug, and the insulating body in the region of the mounting opening has the inserted locking body with an in encloses the radial pressure towards the inside.
The advantages that can be achieved by the invention are, in particular, that the closure body can be assembled or disassembled in a particularly simple manner by pushing it into or pulling it out of the assembly opening. In addition, the plug-in closure according to the invention has a simple structure and can be produced inexpensively. A particularly firm hold of the closure body in the assembly opening is ensured by the prestressing of the insulating body acting in the radial direction. The penetration of foreign bodies at the assembly opening into the plug end closure is effectively avoided.
Advantageous further developments and improvements of the invention are possible due to the features listed in the dependent claims.
For simple disassembly of the closure body, it is advantageous if the closure body has means at its end facing away from the cable lug for pulling the closure body out of the assembly opening. This ensures that the electrical connection between the cable lug and the contact bolt cannot be unintentionally released when the closure body is removed.
It is particularly advantageous if a dovetail-shaped tool holder or a threaded bore is provided as a means for pulling out the closure body on the end face of the closure body facing away from the cable lug.
It is advantageous if the end face of the insulating body is covered by a cap which is fastened by means of a snap-in connection, so that a secure and easily mountable closure of the plug-in end closure is formed in a simple manner.
Two embodiments of the invention are shown in simplified form in the drawing and explained in more detail in the following description. So show
Fig. 1 shows a plug end closure according to a first embodiment of the invention and
Fig. 2 is a partially shown plug end closure according to a second embodiment of the invention.
The plug-in closure 1 shown by way of example in FIG. 1 for connecting a e.g. single-core power cable 3 to an electrical device 5 has a prefabricated, T-shaped insulating body 7 made of an elastic material. The insulating body 7 is enclosed, for example, by a T-shaped metal housing 9 which is provided with an earth connection 11 and which ensures that the plug connector 1 is safe to touch when voltage is applied.
The power cable 3 is stepped at one end of the cable 13 except for an electrical conductor 15. A tubular insulating part 17, into which a field control element 19 is integrated, is pushed over this cable end 13. The field control element 19 is in an electrically conductive connection with a screen 21 of the power cable 3. A cable lug 23 is firmly connected at the cable end 13 to the electrical conductor 15 of the power cable 3, for example by a screw, press or solder connection, and has at its other end a flattened area 25 in which a through connection bore 27 is formed. The cable end 13 with the cable lug 23 is inserted into a blind hole 29 of the tubular insulating body 7.
In the insulating body 7 is e.g. a shield electrode 31 is provided which forms part of the wall of the blind hole 29 and which surrounds the cable lug 23.
A through hole 33 runs perpendicular to the blind hole 29 in the insulating body 7 and communicates with the blind hole 29 at one end thereof. Through the end of the blind hole 29 opening into the through hole 33, at which the cable lug 23 projects with its flattened region 25 into the through hole 33, the through hole 33 is divided into a first section 35 and a second section, an assembly opening 37. The first section 35 serves to receive a bushing insulator 39 of the electrical device 5 for the electrical connection of the power cable 3 to the electrical device 5. For this purpose, the bushing insulator 39 has, for example, a central, electrically conductive contact bolt 41 with an internal thread 43 facing the cable lug 23 .
In the assembled state, the contact pin 41 protrudes into the first section 35 of the through-hole 33 of the insulating body 7. A contact screw 45 is inserted into the insulating body 7 through the mounting opening 37 formed by the second section of the through-hole 33, through the connecting hole 27 into the through-hole 33 protruding flattened area 25 of the cable lug 23 pushed through and screwed into the internal thread 43 of the contact bolt 41, so that a secure electrical connection of the power cable 3 to the electrical device 5 is made.
To close the assembly opening 37 of the insulating body 7, a closure body 47 with an essentially circular cross section is inserted into the assembly opening. In order to ensure a secure hold of the closure body 47 in the mounting opening 37, the mounting opening 37 widens starting from an end face 49 of the insulating body 7 facing away from the cable lug 23 in the direction facing the cable lug in the shape of a truncated cone, that is to say conically. The cone angle a between the longitudinal axis 34 of the through hole 33 and the widening section of the mounting opening 37 is e.g. not more than 100.
The closure body 47 is designed such that, starting from its end face 51 facing away from the cable lug 23, it also widens in the shape of a truncated cone, that is, conically, starting from its end face 51 facing away from the cable lug 23, for example with the same cone angle as the mounting opening 37. The dimensions of the mounting opening 37 of the insulating body 7 and the closure body 47 are selected such that the insulating body 7 in the region of the assembly opening 37 encloses the inserted closure body 47 with a contact pressure acting inwards in the radial direction.
In order to facilitate the insertion of the closure body 47 into the mounting opening 37, the closure body 47 tapers in its insertion direction at its end facing away from the end face 51 up to an end face 52 facing the cable lug 23. The mounting opening 37 tapers in its area facing away from the front side 49 of the insulating body 7, corresponding to the closing body 47, also in the shape of a truncated cone in the direction of insertion of the closing body, for example with the same cone angle as the closing body 47 in the fully inserted state into the assembly opening 37, for example on the flattened area 25 of the cable lug 23.
To accommodate a screw head 53 of the contact screw 45, for example, in the end face 52 of the closure body 47 a cylindrical recess 55 is formed.
On the end face 51 of the closure body 47 facing away from the cable lug 23, for example, a dovetail-shaped tool holder 57 is provided which, by inserting a corresponding tool, not shown, enables the closure body 47 to be pulled out of the assembly opening 37 in order to dismantle the plug-in closure 1 from the electrical device 5.
The end face 51 of the closure body 47 is covered by a cup-shaped cap 59, which is fastened to the metal housing 9 of the insulating body 7, for example by means of a snap-in connection 61.
The second exemplary embodiment of a plug-type closure 1 according to the invention, which is partially shown in FIG. 2, differs from the first exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 1 only in that an inner bore 63 is formed on the end face 51 of the closure body 47 facing away from the cable lug 23. This inner bore 63 allows a corresponding tool, not shown, to be screwed in to pull the closure body 47 out of the assembly opening 37.
