Abstract

The orthopaedic gilet, or sleeveless vest, has a broad belt at the upper body which covers the whole chest area and the shoulder joint. It has an opening (6) at the problem area with a sliding clasp fastener or a contact fastening strip. The upper arm is held in place by buckles (1). The carrier material is of polyurethane foam, 3 mm thick, covered on both sides by a polyamide velvet fabric in a flame lamination.

  Es wird ein orthopädisches Gilet beschrieben, das eingesetzt wird bei extrem starken Verletzungen im Schulter- und Oberarmbereich. Das Gilet besteht aus einem um den Oberkörper und die Schulter gelegten Stück, das am Vorderteil ein Hakenband zur Befestigung aufweist. 



  Es ist bereits eine orthopädische Weste bekannt (DE 3 604 476 C2), die auf ähnliche Weise extreme Schulterverletzungen behandelt. Dieses Gilet hat jedoch den Nachteil, dass bei Wundversorgungen im Schulterbereich das gesamte Gilet ausgezogen werden muss und zudem der Unter- und Oberarm im Ellbogenbereich nicht genügend stabilisiert werden kann. Zudem hat dieses Gilet den Nachteil, dass weibliche Personen sich im Bereich der Brust zu stark eingeengt fühlen. 



  Unsere Erfindung beschreibt ein Gilet, das von der Schulter bis zum Oberarm eine \ffnung frei lässt, um die Wunde im Schulterbereich zu behandeln, ohne dass das Gilet ausgezogen werden muss. Zudem sind im Brustbereich Schnallen (1) eingenäht, damit diese wiederum mit im Unterarmbereich befestigten Haken- bzw. Flauschbändern der gesamte Armbereich je nach Wunsch fixiert werden kann. Im Brustbereich ist zudem ein 15 cm breiter, erweiterter Brusteinsatz (2) eingenäht, das bei weiblichen Personen mehr Platz für die Brust offen lässt, bei männlichen Personen den Tragekomfort jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt. Zusätzlich ist in der Rückenpartie ein Abnäher (3) eingenäht, damit ein absolut rutschfester Sitz des Gilets gewährleistet ist.

   Ein weiterer Abnäher (4) findet sich in der Armtrageschlinge (5) des Unterarmes, damit die Hand nicht frei herunterhängt, sondern eine bequeme Abstützung des Handballens gewährleistet. 



  Als Variante wird dasselbe Gilet beschrieben, jedoch wird der Ellbogen mit dem Unterarm mit einem separaten Armteil (13) je nach Schwere der Verletzung auf der Brustseite mit einem Hakenband (14) fixiert. 



  Das Trägermaterial besteht aus 3 mm dickem Polyurethan-Schaumstoff, der beidseitig mit Polyamid-Velours-Stoff flammkaschiert wird, d.h. unter Wärmeeinwirkung untrennbar zusammengepresst ist. Zusätzlich ist das Trägermaterial mit einem Abstand von 15 mm diametral mit 3 mm grossen durchgestanzten Löchern versehen, um damit eine genügende Luftzirkulation zu gewährleisten. 



  Das gesamte Gilet ist ringsherum allseitig mit einem Schrägband 40/20 mm eingefasst. Damit das Gilet beidseitig getragen werden kann, sind die aufgenähten Hakenbänder (11) so angeordnet, dass man mit Umschlagen des betreffenden Befestigungsteiles (12) links oder rechts schliessen kann.

  An orthopedic vest is already known (DE 3 604 476 C2), which treats extreme shoulder injuries in a similar manner. However, this gilet has the disadvantage that the entire gilet has to be pulled off in the case of wound care in the shoulder area and, moreover, the forearm and upper arm in the elbow area cannot be sufficiently stabilized. In addition, this waistcoat has the disadvantage that female people feel too tight in the chest area.



  Our invention describes a gilet that leaves an opening from the shoulder to the upper arm to treat the wound in the shoulder area without the gilet having to be removed. In addition, buckles (1) are sewn into the chest area so that the entire arm area can be fixed as desired with hook or loop straps attached in the forearm area. In addition, a 15 cm wide, enlarged breast insert (2) is sewn into the chest area, which leaves more space for the breast open in female persons, but does not impair wearing comfort in male persons. In addition, a dart (3) is sewn into the back section to ensure that the gilet is absolutely non-slip.

   Another darts (4) can be found in the arm sling (5) of the forearm so that the hand does not hang down freely, but rather ensures that the ball of the hand is supported comfortably.



  The same gilet is described as a variant, but the elbow is fixed to the forearm with a separate arm part (13) depending on the severity of the injury on the chest side with a hook band (14).



  The carrier material consists of 3 mm thick polyurethane foam, which is flame-laminated on both sides with polyamide velor, i.e. is inseparably compressed under the influence of heat. In addition, the backing material is diametrically spaced 15 mm with 3 mm punched holes to ensure sufficient air circulation.



  The entire waistcoat is bordered on all sides with a bias binding 40/20 mm. So that the waistcoat can be worn on both sides, the sewn-on hook straps (11) are arranged in such a way that you can close them left or right by turning the relevant fastening part (12).

Claims

1. Orthopedic gilet for immobilizing the shoulder and upper arm in the event of extreme injuries, characterized in that it is made as a front part and a back part having a belt, which is provided with a hook and a fleece band at both ends for closure and has a shoulder part in the transition area between the front and back part, which has a slot (6) for releasing the shoulder, which is equipped with a zipper (7) or a Velcro fastener (7) for opening and closing.

Orthopedic gilet according to claim 9, characterized in that the arm part (13) is provided on both sides with 3 darts (16) and is edged with an elastic band in order to give it the appropriate shape depending on the size and length of the arm.
