Abstract

The connection selector is used between a pair of 4-wire ribbon cables and is provided by a hexagonal body with an input selection section (1), a switching section (2) and a configuration section (3). The connection selector has 6 times 2 possible positions, obtained by relative rotation o the different sections, for providing all possible different connection combinations between the incoming and outgoing cable wires.

  Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verbindungs-Wähler für konfektionierte, 4adrige Flachkabel. Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht darin, dass zwischen zwei herkömmlich konfektionierten Kabeln durch einfaches Umschalten ein 2-Draht-Pfad beliebig ausgekreuzt werden kann, so dass eine rasche Anpassung von differierenden Pin-Belegungen möglich sind. Diese Aufgabe wird gelöst durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Patentanspruches.

  Grundsätzlich besteht das Produkt aus drei Hauptgruppen, welche mechanisch und elektrisch symmetrisch aufgebaut sind, bestehend aus: Eingangs-Wählteil 1, kombinierter Schalt-/Rastteil 2 und Zuordnungsteil 3.

  Auf dieser Figur ist die Beschriftung des Sechskantkörpers "abgerollt" dargestellt. Die alfanumerischen Bezeichnungen, sowie die Pfeilgebilde dienen der Übersicht der geschalteten Stellungen, damit man sich bestimmte Positionen besser merken oder auch dokumentieren kann. Somit ist aus der gezeichneten Beispiel-Stellung ersichtlich, dass die zwei mittleren Kontakte mit den zwei äusseren korrespondieren, folgedessen entspricht dies der Stellung "D3". Die Funktion des Verbindungs-Wählers ist nicht richtungsabhängig, d.h. er kann natürlich auch je nach Belieben in Gegen-Pfeilrichtung betrieben werden.

  Stellt das äussere Erscheinungs-Bild des Verbindungs-Wählers im Anwendungsfall dar. Der Körper weist eine Länge von 62 mm, und eine Schlüsselweite von 22 mm auf.

   Zeigt die RJ11 6/4-Buchse 4, weiche elektrisch mit der Kontaktscheibe 5 so verdrahtet ist, dass alle 6 möglichen 2-Draht-Stellungen mit Hilfe des Eingangs-Wählteils 1 abgegriffen werden können. Anschliessend führen die ausgewählten Pfade über die beiden Rastkontakte 6 vom Schalt-/Rastteil 2 hinüber zum Zuordnungsteil 3 auf der Gegenseite, wo dann die heissen Ende an Buchse 8 zu Verfügung stehen. Die Durchführung einer Auskreuzung ist einfacher, wenn die Pin-Belegung wenigstens am Eingangs-Wählteil 1 bekannt ist, so beschränkt sich das Absuchen am Zuordnungsteil 3 auf nur 6 Möglichkeiten, andernfalls auf 36. Alle 3 Hauptgruppen des Verbindungs-Wählers sind übrigens gegeneinander 360 DEG anschlagfrei drehbar, und ermöglichen somit ein schnelles Auffinden der richtigen Positionen. 



  
 



  The invention relates to a connection selector for assembled, 4-wire flat cable. The object of the invention is that a 2-wire path can be crossed out between two conventionally assembled cables by simply switching over, so that a rapid adaptation of different pin assignments is possible. This object is achieved by the characterizing features of the claim.

  Basically, the product consists of three main groups, which are mechanically and electrically symmetrical, consisting of: input selector part 1, combined switching / locking part 2 and assignment part 3.

  In this figure, the lettering of the hexagon body is shown as "unrolled". The alphanumeric designations and the arrow formations are used to provide an overview of the switched positions so that certain positions can be better remembered or documented. It can thus be seen from the example position shown that the two middle contacts correspond to the two outer ones, consequently this corresponds to position "D3". The function of the connection selector is not directional, i.e. it can of course also be operated in the opposite direction of the arrow as desired.

  Shows the external appearance of the connection selector in the application. The body has a length of 62 mm and a wrench size of 22 mm.

   Shows the RJ11 6/4 socket 4, which is electrically wired to the contact disk 5 so that all 6 possible 2-wire positions can be tapped using the input selector part 1. The selected paths then lead via the two latching contacts 6 from the switching / latching part 2 over to the assignment part 3 on the opposite side, where the hot ends at socket 8 are then available. The implementation of an outcross is easier if the pin assignment is known at least on the input dialing part 1, the search on the assignment part 3 is limited to only 6 possibilities, otherwise to 36. All 3 main groups of the connection selector are 360 DEG against each other can be rotated without a stop, thus enabling the correct positions to be found quickly.

Verbindungs-Wähler für mit RJ11 6/4-Steckern konfektionierte, 4adrige Flachkabel, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er einen in drei Hauptgruppen, nämlich einen Eingangs-Wählteil (1) sowie einen Schalt-/Rastteil (2) und einen Zuordnungsteil (3), aufgeteilten Sechskantkörper aufweist und dass über die 2 x 6 Raststellungen jede mögliche 2-Draht-Verbindung zwischen zwei Kabelenden ausgekreuzt werden kann, indem man den anstehenden 2er-Pfad am Eingangs-Wählteil (1) durch eine radial einrastende Drehbewegung 360 DEG anschlagfrei anwählt und über das kombinierte Schalt-/Rastteil (2) am Zuordnungsteil (3) mit gleicher Manipulation einer gewünschten Auskreuzung zuordnet.
