Beschreibung description
Zum Eindicken/Konzentrieren von Suspensionen oder Lösungen werden heute Dünnschichtverdampfer, Fallstrom- oder Umlaufverdampfer eingesetzt. Thin-film evaporators, downflow or circulation evaporators are used today for thickening / concentrating suspensions or solutions.
Mit Ausnahme des Dünnschichtverdampfers neigen die Verdampfer üblicherweise zum Verkrusten der Wärmeaustauschrohre. Das bedingt immer wieder Unterbrüche in der Produktion, um die Wärmetauscherrohre zu reinigen. Da die Reinigung meistens mit Warmwasser, Lauge oder Säure vorgenommen wird, kommen zu den Unterbrüchen noch die Kosten für das Reinigungsmaterial und dessen Entsorgung.
