Abstract

By means of this sorting apparatus, pearls, precious stones and round and non-round material to be sorted can be sorted according to size. The material to be sorted is introduced into the first two profile corrugations of the corrugated bottom tray. A transparent cover plate can be regulated by means of two respective spacer bodies of unequal size. As soon as the apparatus is raised on one side the corrugations are oriented horizontally, the material to be sorted comes to rest according to size in the corrugated bottom tray. The largest pieces remain on top and the smallest are placed at the very bottom. <IMAGE>
