Die Erfindung betrifft eine Tablette nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Solche Tabletten sind bisher im wesentlichen mit ovaler Draufsicht und bombierten Flächen bekannt geworden. Sie sind meistens dragiert und nicht für die Teilung in Bruchstücke vorgesehen. Insbesondere wenn grosse Mengen eines Wirkstoffs in einer Kaubasis für Kautabletten unterzubringen sind, ist die Einnahme einer daraus resultierenden, sehr grossen Tablette und ihre Zerteilung im Mund schwierig oder zumindest unangenehm. Die Erfindung beseitigt dieses Problem nun in gelungener Weise durch die im Kennzeichen des Anspruchs 1 beschriebene Massnahme. Vorteilhafte Ausführungsformen der Erfindung sind in den Kennzeichen der abhängigen Ansprüche beschrieben. The invention relates to a tablet according to the preamble of claim 1. Man hat zwar bereits eine Kerbung an einer scheibenförmigen Tablette, in Kombination mit einer über ihre Kreisfläche verlaufenden und von der Einkerbung ausgehenden Rille vorgeschlagen, doch dient dies bei einer runden Tablette im wesentlichen der Halbierung der zu verabreichenden Dosis und nicht einer mundgerechten Darreichung der Tablette, um Stücke nacheinander leichter in den Mund schieben zu können. Die bisher ebenfalls bekannt gewordenen Sollbruchrillen auf einer Fläche der Tablette funktionieren oft nur schlecht, vor allem hinsichtlich der Dimension und der ungenügenden Angriffsfläche für einen Patienten; in Kombination mit den erfindungsgemässen Einkerbungen kann jedoch auch die an sich bekannte Sollbruchrille noch eine zusätzliche Verbesserung erbringen, wie erwähnt insbesondere bei Kautabletten, die allenfalls nicht nur gebrochen werden müssen, sondern bei denen sogar abgebissen werden kann, und wo die Schneidezähne in einer in zumindest einer der Flächen der Tablette angeordneten Sollbruchrille gleich die richtige Position finden. Mit einer erfindungsgemässen Tablette lassen sich auch Tablettengewichte von 6 oder 7 Gramm noch gut beherrschbar verabreichen. Claims
