Fig. 1 zeigt eine Ansicht der Vorrichtung und
Fig. 2 zeigt die Vorrichtung in perspektivischer Darstellung.
It is known that chewing gum becomes sticky when chewed. As soon as it has served its purpose, the problem arises of storing it hygienically. It is therefore often glued to the bottom of tables, chairs, in ashtrays etc. or spit on the floor. It is a time-consuming and unsanitary task to remove gum deposited in this way, since it becomes hard as soon as it cools down.
The invention has for its object to counteract this sticking of chewing gum in all possible places by creating a device in which the chewing gum can be deposited hygienically wherever there is a need.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the device has a paper dispenser and a collecting vessel. The paper dispenser is inserted into a cylindrical housing, which forms the collecting vessel. The paper from the paper roll, which is in the paper dispenser, is guided under a paper retention spring to the tear-off edge. The paper can be torn off at the desired length because the paper retention spring gives enough pressure so that the entire paper roll is not unrolled and so that the paper does not fall back to the paper roll. The tear-off edge is advantageously formed from a metal blade with serrations so that the paper can be torn off by pulling it gently. The chewing gum can be wrapped hygienically directly from the mouth in the torn piece of paper, so that it no longer sticks to the fingers.
Since half of the housing remains free when the paper dispenser is pushed in, this free space can be used as a collecting vessel for the wrapped chewing gum.
By installing the device according to the invention on tables, on walls and wherever the disposal of the chewing gum is a problem, public and private institutions such as cinemas, game rooms, gyms, restaurants, etc. are spared considerable cleaning problems.
Further details and advantages of the invention result from the following description of the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a view of the device and
Fig. 2 shows the device in perspective.
The paper dispenser 2 is inserted into the cylindrical housing 1, which has a bottom at the bottom and is open toward the top. The paper dispenser 2 consists of a U-shaped part which is open towards the bottom and closed towards the top with the exception of an outlet opening. It also consists of a connector to the tear-off edge 4 and a paper retaining spring 3. The connector is bent slightly above the upper edge of the housing so that the paper 7, which is straight to the connector to the tear-off edge 4, can be gripped more easily. The paper roll 5 is placed in the U-shaped part of the paper dispenser 2. From there, the paper 7 is pushed from the paper roll 5 through the outlet opening and guided under the paper retaining spring 3 to the tear-off edge 4.
The paper dispenser 2 is then pushed into the housing 1 together with the paper roll 5 and the drawn paper 7. The paper retention spring 3 prevents the paper 7 from falling back to the paper roll 5 and gives the necessary pressure so that the paper 7 can be torn off at the tear-off edge 4 in the desired length without the entire paper roll 5 being unrolled. The tear-off edge 4 is knife-like and serrated, so that the paper 7 can be torn off by pulling it approximately at a right angle to the tear-off edge 4 without great effort. Since the paper dispenser 2 only fills half of the housing, a free space is created at the top which is used as a collecting vessel 6. The chewing gum wrapped hygienically with the torn off piece of paper is deposited in this collecting vessel 6 without it sticking anywhere.
By overturning the entire device, the chewing gum can be easily emptied into the sweeping direction.
The paper roll 5 was chosen from environmentally friendly aspects. However, if necessary, it can easily be replaced by a plastic roller, e.g. Plastic is replaced so that the chewing gum would be wrapped in a piece of plastic instead of in a piece of paper.
