Dadurch erhält man schnelleres Schalten.
The invention relates to a pneumatic cylinder with a piston rod concentric to the cylinder axis and movable in the direction of the cylinder axis and relative to the pneumatic cylinder and with at least one concentric sealing element held on it, the piston rod being guided in bearings for its axial movement within the housing surrounding the piston rod.
In the known pneumatic cylinders, an accurate feed movement was previously only possible with an additional guide. The piston rods of the conventional pneumatic cylinders are generally guided in sintered bearing bushes, which creates too much play and the piston rod can also move sideways. To avoid this, the piston rod was reinforced and supported on both sides with ball guides without play. This makes it possible to load the piston rod laterally to a certain degree. This is sufficient for many possible uses.
Such an arrangement is known from DE-OS 2 632 748. Although this known pneumatic cylinder does not require any additional guidance, it does, however, have a bearing, which is only partially held in the housing, with sealing elements in each case at the extreme axial end of the housing for axial longitudinal movements, and there is also a need for a simpler and more compact design for better operating behavior with economically more economical production to enable. In addition, the piston rod should not only perform longitudinal movements, but at the same time, i.e. can also rotate independently of longitudinal movements. The object is achieved with the features of claim 1 and the developments specified in the dependent claims.
1 shows a stepless stop as an axially front part 10 compared to the prior art. The stepless stop is achieved in that a cylinder spindle 12 is guided in the front element 10, which is designed as a bell-shaped or pot-like part 10 with a bottom part 11 is that it engages with its external thread in a central internal thread of the base part 11 and the pot element 10 is adjusted in its axial position by rotation about the axis 10.
This cylinder spindle 12 is rotatably connected to the piston rod 13 for axial movements. In the sense of an economically more advantageous production, the piston rod 13 is produced in the arrangement according to FIG. 1 as a continuous solid cylinder part with a constant diameter, on which sealing sleeves 14 are placed. The sealing collar 14 is formed in that a ring element 15 made of a suitable material is held stationary on the piston rod 13 via ring elements 16, 17.
In the central region of the master cylinder 18, in which the piston rod is guided, two pneumatic or hydraulic connections 20, 21 are designed as bores through which the air or also \ l is supplied. As a result, the ring element 15, if one connects e.g. Compressed air feeds, brought on the right as a sealing ring 22, while if one goes over the feed 21, this ring element is brought up to the left sealing ring 23 and is brought to a stop. However, the force of the stop does not affect the sealing ring elements 22, 23, but the force of the stop acts on the external stop surfaces 19 and 19 min.
Fig. 1 shows the movement position at the left end stop. The open edge of the bell-like part 10 is in firm contact with the end face of the bottom part 19 of the housing 18. There, the force for the stop is absorbed, while the sealing ring 23 is free of a load. This has the advantage that the sealing effect remains unimpeded without deformation of the sealing element. Likewise, the longitudinal bearing guide 25 does not suffer any force impact on its outer ring 26, so that the quality of this bearing also remains unaffected. In the reverse manner, this naturally also applies to the right stop position when the movable sealing sleeve 14 is located on the right on the sealing ring 22 in the housing.
For this purpose, a circlip 27 which is fixedly arranged on the piston rod and which, e.g. is additionally held in a groove, in contact with the flat end face 19 min of the base plate of the housing 18. The snap rings 16, 17 are also held in recesses in the piston rod 13.
The threaded rod 12 is glued into the piston rod 107 in a thread 29. As a result, the threaded rod 12 is firmly connected to the piston rod 13, also with regard to any rotational movement.
The arrangement according to FIG. 1 is already suitable for small rotational movements because the end face on the open edge of the pot of the part 10 can slide relatively well on the surface 19 min and causes little friction. If, however, the front part 10, e.g. wants to lead over a cam, in a certain limited rotational movement, e.g. by means of a rolling cam on a machine tool, this rotary movement can then take place, possibly also a retrograde rotary movement, before the end face of the part 10 touches the flat surface 19 minutes of the cover 49, so that there would be no friction at all.
For a rotational movement, the arrangement according to FIG. 1 is also sufficiently guided in the bearings 25 and 35, which are essentially provided for axial movements. The elements 35, 36 and 37 are similar cylinder sleeves with the same inside and outside diameters. Likewise, the piston rod 13, like the outer housing 18, is a continuous cylinder. This enables cheap mass production with continuous processing of the surfaces concerned.
However, the cylinder sleeve 37 must be sealed with respect to the housing 18. The end parts 48 and 49 are also easily produced disks that can be screwed onto the hollow cylindrical housing 18. The pot-like attachment part 10 has an axially directed cut, which is parallel to the plane of the drawing in FIG. 1, one wall of the slot of which is the wall 39. In front of the opposite slot surface 39, the bottom is recessed and drilled and a thread for a clamping screw 38 in the bore let in. As a result, the part 10 on the threaded rod 12 can be brought to the desired axial position by twisting and clamped with the screw 38, as a result of which the working stroke is defined.
At the other end of the working stroke, however, the disk 27 always strikes the element 49, so that the working stroke there and by the position of the element 10 on the thread of the rod 12 is clearly limited at this end.
It is important that the adjustable stop at one end of the piston rod and the fixed stop at the other end.
Because the sealing rings 22, 23 are in the vicinity of the connections 20, 21, the volume of the pressure space is relatively small, so that the working stroke volume is not much smaller than the volume of the pressure space. This gives you faster shifting. The pressure builds up outside of the bearings 25, 35, which is advantageous for the storage and the function of the working chamber 33. The sealing rings 22, 23 lie directly on the housing 18.
A coaxial blind hole is provided at the left end of the piston rod approximately up to the area of the ring element 27, the inner wall of which runs exactly concentrically to the outer surface 131 of the piston rod 13 and exactly perpendicular to the end face 132. In the soft (not reached by the guide) bottom of the blind hole, an even deeper central blind hole with thread is provided for screw fastening of tools with a screw attachment.
Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of a pneumatic cylinder according to Fig. 1, which is suitable for rotating machining. The threaded spindle 12 is mounted in the now hollow piston rod 13 and the tool is placed on the left outside, while the threaded spindle is driven on the right. The piston rod 13 is drilled through continuously. On the right are at least two bearings 211, 213, one, 211, of which the spindle 12 is mounted radially with respect to the sleeve-shaped piston rod 13 and a further bearing 213 is on its inner race 214 to a threaded ring 201 placed on the piston rod 13, which can be rotated to the cover 48 is positioned on the stop.
On the left outside there is again a cup-shaped element 210, which is firmly connected in the bottom area to the continuous work spindle 12, and in the inner area of the cylinder wall of the pot element 210, a bearing is supported from the outside on the piston rod 13 by at least one ball bearing (roller bearing). Since the application of force from the machining takes place in the vicinity of the left end of the pneumatic cylinder, i.e. at the left end of the piston rod 13, a more robust mounting is necessary there, which is why there is support from the outside on the piston rod 13 so that it can be carried out in a suitable and convenient manner can provide good storage with more robust roller bearings of larger diameter.
Advantageously, at least two bearing elements arranged at an axial distance, e.g. Ball bearings to be provided. (In principle, support or storage within the piston rod 13 and the work spindle would also be possible, but that would require extremely small and also expensive bearings, and these would be overloaded in some cases in practical use.)
One bearing in the bell element 210 is as close as possible to the ground, the other in the area of the open edge 212 of the bell 210. In general, a ratio a / Da = 1 will be advantageous, where Da is the outer diameter of the bearings 208 and 209, respectively. A rolling bearing of a certain axial minimum dimension can replace the two (!) Ball bearings. A tool to be placed can be centered on the shoulder 220 and e.g. be fastened in three threaded holes in the end face 221 for rotation with the pot element 210.
