Es ist aber auch eine Kombination von den erwähnten Anzeigearten möglich, bei der dauernd nebst den Namen und Daten einer Anzahl von direkt mit einer Taste wählbaren Sendern noch der Name oder die abgekürzte Bezeichnung samt anderen Daten des durch die Frequenzeingabetasten gerade gewählten und empfangenen Senders angezeigt wird. Es ist somit bei einem entsprechend grossen Datenspeicher möglich, die Namen und andere Daten einer wesentlich grösseren Anzahl von Sendern zu speichern, als die aus Raumgründen gleichzeitig an Displays angezeigt werden könnte, was eine besonders grosse Bedeutung bei den Synthesizer-Empfängern hat. Für jeden direkt wählbaren Sender kann ein eigenes Display Fig. 1 mit einer Anzeige seines Namens und eventuell anderer Daten verwendet werden. Gegebenenfalls können auch die Namen oder eventuell andere Daten von mehreren solchen direkt wählbaren Sendern auf einem grösseren Display übereinander (Fig. 2) oder nebeneinander (Fig. 3) angezeigt werden. Die Wahltasten der direkt wählbaren Sender, d.h. die Senderwahltasten, können sich neben den Displays von den Fig. 1 und 2, über oder unter dem Display von Fig. 3 befinden. Es kann auch ein grossflächiges Display (Fig. 4, 5 und 6) verwendet werden; an diesem können dann in mehreren aber mindestens zwei Zeilen und in mehreren aber mindestens zwei Spalten die Daten angezeigt werden. Ein grossflächiges Display muss nicht aus einem Stück bestehen, es kann auch aus mehreren kleineren Displays zusammengebaut werden und diese befinden sich dann unter einer gemeinsamen Deckplatte. Zur Verhinderung der Sichtbarkeit der Räume zwischen den einzelnen Displays kann sich über diesen Räumen eine entsprechend gestaltete undurchsichtige Fläche befinden, es kann auch eine Farbschicht auf der Deckplatte sein.
