94 bezeichneten Verankerungsteilen erreichen.
The invention relates to a rod light according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such rod lights are attached to a base, for example the back of a drawing board or the like, with the foot part and, by means of the pivotable rod part, which can be composed of a plurality of rod portions that can be pivoted relative to one another, with their elongated lamp housing into the for good illumination of the base, for example, the front of a drawing board, appropriate location. Since luminaire housings of different lengths from very short versions to very long with possibly even two fluorescent tubes may be required for different sized documents or drawing boards, rod lights with luminaire housings of different lengths must normally be manufactured and kept in stock.
The invention is intended to simplify the manufacture and storage of such rod lights.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
By means of the plug device according to the invention, luminaire housings of different lengths and for different light outputs can be attached to the same rod part at any time by simply plugging them in. This greatly simplifies the manufacture, storage, packaging and assembly of the boom lamp. Subsequent changes by loosening the connector and attaching another luminaire housing are also possible at any time. By means of the plug-in device according to the invention, the mechanical holder and the electrical connection between the lamp housing and the rod lamp are simultaneously established.
The dependent claims 2 and 3 relate to advantageous details of the connector.
For rod lights with spring relief of the rod part, it is useful if the spring relief can be adapted to the different weight of the respective light housing. According to a further proposal of the invention, this problem is solved by the features of claim 4. By means of the provided adjustment device, the tension of the tension spring device and thus the spring relief of the linkage part can be adjusted in a very simple manner and the weight of the lamp housing attached to the linkage part can be adjusted.
Claims 5 and 6 relate to preferred embodiments of the adjusting device.
The remaining claims relate to further advantageous refinements of the invention.
A preferred exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the figures. It shows
Figure 1 is a partially sectioned oblique view of the rod lamp according to the invention.
FIG. 2 shows a partially sectioned side view of the rod lamp shown in FIG. 1,
Figure 3 is an enlarged view of the detail labeled "X" in Figure 2 and
Figure 4 is an enlarged view of the detail labeled "Y" in Figure 2.
The rod lamp shown in the figures has an elongated foot part 10 with an approximately rectangular cross section and with an obliquely attached intermediate part 12, a rod part attached via a swivel joint 14, generally designated 16, and an elongated lamp housing 20 connected to the rod part 16 via a swivel joint 18 . The lamp housing 20 is equipped in a manner known per se with a reflector and a fluorescent tube or the like.
The linkage part 16 consists of two linkage sections 22 and 24 which are connected to one another via a further swivel joint 26. The swivel joints 14 and 26 are penetrated by toggle screws 28 and 30 to adjust their friction.
The foot part 10 is frictionally encompassed by spaced holding clamps 32 and 34, the holding feet 36 and 38 of which are fastened to the back of a drawing board 44 by means of screws 40 and 42. The foot part 10 can be moved up or down while overcoming an adjustable friction of the holding clamps 32 and 34, so that the lamp housing can be set higher or lower with respect to the drawing board 44. An additional adjustment possibility then results from the linkage part 16 and the swivel joints 14, 26 and 18.
Foot part 10, rod part 16 and lamp housing 20 are preferably made of aluminum, as a result of which the drawing board experiences a very low weight load due to the rod lamp.
Arranged within the hollow foot part 10 are two parallel tension springs 48, one end 50 of which is connected to the end of a flat steel band 54 via an anchoring part 52. The opposite ends 56 of the tension springs 48 are suspended on a cross bolt 58 which contains a central threaded bore 60 which extends perpendicular to its longitudinal extension. A long toggle screw 62 extending in the longitudinal direction of the foot part 10 is screwed into this threaded bore 60, the toggle head 64 of which strikes the outer end face 66 of the foot part 10. A pin 68 projects vertically from the cross pin 58 and protrudes into a longitudinal slot 70 of the foot part 10. As a result, the transverse bolt 58 is held against rotation when the toggle screw 60 rotates and can move along the foot part 10, the pin 68 sliding in the slot 70.
As a result, the preload of the tension springs 48 is increased or decreased. In addition to the slot 70, a marking 72 is made on the outside of the foot part 10 for rough adjustment of the pin 68 and thus the spring load.
From this end of the foot part 10, an electrical cable 74 is led to the outside, which is connected by means of a releasable plug device, not shown, to a ballast housing, also not shown, for adaptation to the respective light output of the lamp.
The opposite end of the cable 74 guided through the foot part 10 and the rod part 16 is electrically connected to a plug socket 76 firmly anchored in the rod section 24. A plug part 78 can be inserted into this plug socket 76 and is firmly connected to a swivel element 80 of the swivel joint 18. By plugging the connector part 78 into the socket 76, an electrical connection between the connector part 78 and the socket 76 is established. For anchoring the swivel member 80 in the linkage section 24, the swivel member 80 has a bore 82 which, after insertion, comes to coincide with a corresponding opening 83 in the linkage section 24. For more firm anchoring, a screw 85 can then be screwed into the internally threaded bore 82.
In this way, a lamp housing 20 of any length and equipped with any light output, which is fixedly connected to the other swivel element 84 of the swivel joint 18, can be attached to and detached from the same rod part 16 and foot part 10 with a few hand movements. The swivel joint 18 can be arranged symmetrically or asymmetrically with respect to the longitudinal extent of the lamp housing 20.
The steel band 54 fastened to the anchoring part 52 is guided via a fixed roller-shaped bush 86 at the kink 88 of the foot part 10 and then over the articulated rollers 90 and 92 of the swivel joints 14 and 26, the opposite end of the steel band 54 being connected to a similar anchoring part 94 is fixed, which is fixed within the linkage portion 24. As a result, the tension of the tension springs 48 is transmitted to the last linkage part 24 with relatively little friction. This results in effective spring relief for the boom light.
As can be seen in detail from FIG. 4, the two ends of the steel strip are each folded over a flat anchoring plate 96 and clamped between two clamping plates 98. A threaded bolt 100 is inserted into overlapping openings of the clamping plates 98, the steel strip 54 and the anchoring plate 96, onto which a nut 102 is screwed from the opposite side. In this way, a firm and largely wear-free anchoring of the two ends of the steel band 54 in the two anchoring parts, generally designated 52 and 94, can be achieved.
