Abstract
A roof for covering an open-air sports or exhibition ground is made from foldable material (1). The roof material is supported on a ridge beam (2) and on side beams (3). The roof has a skirt (3) formed around its perimeter. Openings are formed in the side beams on the inner side of the roof. Heated air then blows through these openings by a fan in order to prevent the build-up of ice or snow on the roof. The air flows over the undersurface of the roof and is removed by a fan connected to a duct in the ridge beam. USE - Temporary buildings used in winter.
Description
BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a roof for outdoor systems.
Fixed roof structures can provide for heating of the attic, whereby not only the room but also the roof is heated. Likewise, roof tarpaulins, mostly of a provisional type (tents, festival huts, etc.), can be heated from below with spotlights or warm air blowers; at the same time, the room air under the roof is warmed up. or to prevent the formation of ice, while the ambient air can circulate underneath this roof structure. This is achieved through the distinctive
Features of claim 1.
The function of the foldable roof is basically described in claim 1. The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of an exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2. Show it:
1 is an all-weather roof with a foldable roof material,
Fig. 2 shows a detail of Fig. 1 at the location of the area encircled in Fig. 1.
The whole roof structure stands on supports; it is also conceivable to rest on parts of the wall. The roof is usually foldable in two parts from both sides of the gable towards the center. For smaller conditions, such as for outdoor seating, the roof can be folded and unfolded in one piece from one side, a hand crank can replace the electric cable winch. It is also possible to provide a desk roof instead of the ridge roof.
An increase in the snow and ice-repellent effect can be achieved by a de-icing system with nozzles along the ridge. Thermostats can regulate the temperature and Wmdmeters an automatic folding of the roof with extreme Wmddichten.
The foldable construction is primarily intended as a roof for ice rinks. The increasing resistance of sports enthusiasts, young and old, against the continuing construction of ice rinks, is intended to provide a backing for leisure activities in the fresh air with this invention. In addition to keeping the precipitation that affects sports operations away from the roof, the system in the Wmter should receive as much light and sun as possible, while in spring and autumn, but especially in summer, strong solar radiation is held as required. The practice of a natural sport is guaranteed all year round.
The construction is equally useful for other sports that do not take up too much space, as well as for outdoor seating, sensitive cultures, storage rooms for equipment, vehicles such as airplanes, civil and military types.
