Abstract

The hinge connector between housing sections comprises two flat plastics portions (1,2) joined together by a hinge film (3). One or more bosses (4) of press-button connectors protrude from each portion. One portion at least is pref arched (5) at the middle of one edge to form a recess (7).    BESCHREIBUNG



   Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verbindungselement zum scharnierartigen Verbinden bzw. gegenseitigen Fixieren von Gehäuseteilen.



   In vielen Bereichen der Technik, beispielsweise in der Telefonie oder anderen Signal-Übertragungsbereichen gewinnen Gehäuse-Systeme, die aus mehreren Einheiten nach dem Baukastenprinzip zusammensetzbar sind, ständig an Bedeutung.



   Problematisch bei solchen Systemen ist das Verbinden bzw. Lösen der System-Einheiten bei Innenarbeiten, wie Verdrahten, Einbau von Schaltelementen u. dgl., indem solche Verbindungen in der Regel durch Verschraubung erfolgen.



  Dies gilt sowohl für Scharniere zwischen Gehäuseteilen als auch für Verriegelungsmittel.



   Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist nun die Schaffung eines Verbindungselementes, welches sich für ein augenblickliches Verbinden bzw. Befestigen sowie Lösen von Gehäuse-System-Teilen eignet.



   Dies wird erfindungsgemäss erreicht durch zwei flächige, filmscharnierartig miteinander verbundene Flächenteile aus Kunststoff, von welchen Flächenteilen mindestens je ein Zapfen einer Druckknopfverbindung abragt.



   Durch diese Massnahmen wird nun ein hochwirksames, sehr einfaches Verbindungselement geschaffen, das funktionell sowohl als Scharnier als auch als Verschlussriegel für aufklappbare Gehäuse- und Deckelteile sowie als Verbindungselement von aufeinander gesetzten Gehäuseteilen verwendet werden kann.



   Hierbei ist es von Vorteil, wenn mindestens ein Flächenteil im Bereich seiner Stirnkante eine mittige Aufwölbung aufweist zur Bildung einer bodenseitigen Vertiefung für die Aufnahme eines Schraubenziehers o. dgl. zum Aufbrechen der Druckknopfverbindung.



   Die vorliegende Erfindung kann insbesondere der Verwendung als Scharnier für aufklappbare Gehäuse- und Deckelteile bzw. als Verschlussriegel für solche Teile dienen.



   Eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung, welche in schaubildartiger Darstellung ein erfindungsgemässes Verbindungselement zeigt, näher erläutert.



   Das erfindungsgemässe Verbindungselement umfasst zwei Flächenteile 1 und 2, welche zur Anlage an Seitenflächen von Gehäuseteilen, etwa Gehäuse-Unterteil 8 und Gehäuse Deckel 9 bestimmt sind.



   Die beiden Flächenteile 1 und 2 sind filmscharnierartig 3 miteinander verbunden und das Ganze besteht aus einem geeigneten Kunststoff.



   Von den Flächenteilen 1 und 2 ragen auflageseitig hier je zwei Zapfen 4 ab, welche zusammen mit entsprechenden Gegenbohrungen in den Gehäuseteilen 8 und 9 lösbare Druckknopfverbindungen bilden.



   Damit wird es möglich, durch einfaches Andrücken solcher Verbindungselemente an die betreffenden Aussenwandungen von Gehäuseteilen letztere schnell und wirksam miteinander zu verbinden.



   Bei Anordnung von Verbindungselementen nur an einer Wandungsseite zweier Gehäuseteile 8 und 9 sind diese als Scharnier wirksam (Darstellung).

 

   Auf der Gegenseite könnte dann ein solches Verbindungselement als Verriegelungsmittel dienen.



   Um hierfür die Druckknopfverbindung wenigstens des einen Flächenteiles 1 leicht aufbrechen zu können, weist dieser im Bereich seiner Stirnkante 6 eine mittige Aufwölbung 5 auf zur Bildung einer bodenseitigen Vertiefung 7 für die Aufnahme eines Schraubenziehers o. dgl., der dann beim Verkanten den Flächenteil 1 von der Gehäusewandung   weg-    drückt.



   Natürlich können auch beide Flächenteile 1 und 2 mit solchen Aufwölbungen versehen sein.



   Aus dem Vorbeschriebenen ergibt sich soweit ein universell anwendbares Verbindungselement zum scharnierartigen Verbinden bzw. gegenseitigen Fixieren von Gehäuseteilen, das eine sehr einfache und wirksame Handhabung gestattet. 



  
 



   DESCRIPTION



   The present invention relates to a connecting element for hinge-like connection or mutual fixing of housing parts.



   In many areas of technology, for example in telephony or other signal transmission areas, housing systems that can be assembled from several units according to the modular principle are becoming increasingly important.



   The problem with such systems is the connection or disconnection of the system units for internal work, such as wiring, installation of switching elements and the like. Like. By such connections are usually made by screwing.



  This applies both to hinges between housing parts and to locking means.



   The object of the present invention is now to provide a connecting element which is suitable for an instantaneous connection or fastening and loosening of housing system parts.



   This is achieved according to the invention by means of two flat plastic film parts which are connected to one another in the manner of a film hinge, from which surface parts at least one pin of a push-button connection projects.



   These measures now create a highly effective, very simple connecting element that can be used functionally both as a hinge and as a locking latch for hinged housing and cover parts and as a connecting element of stacked housing parts.



   It is advantageous here if at least one surface part has a central bulge in the area of its front edge to form a bottom-side depression for receiving a screwdriver or the like to break open the push-button connection.



   The present invention can be used in particular as a hinge for hinged housing and cover parts or as a locking bar for such parts.



   An example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, which shows a connecting element according to the invention in a diagrammatic representation.



   The connecting element according to the invention comprises two surface parts 1 and 2, which are intended for bearing against side surfaces of housing parts, for example lower housing part 8 and housing cover 9.



   The two surface parts 1 and 2 are connected to each other like a film hinge 3 and the whole consists of a suitable plastic.



   Two pins 4 protrude from the surface parts 1 and 2 on the support side, which together with corresponding counter-bores in the housing parts 8 and 9 form detachable push-button connections.



   This makes it possible to quickly and effectively connect the latter to one another by simply pressing such connecting elements onto the relevant outer walls of housing parts.



   If connecting elements are only arranged on one wall side of two housing parts 8 and 9, they act as a hinge (illustration).

 

   Such a connecting element could then serve as a locking means on the opposite side.



   In order to be able to break open the push-button connection of at least one surface part 1 for this purpose, it has a central bulge 5 in the region of its front edge 6 to form a bottom-side recess 7 for receiving a screwdriver or the like, which then, when tilted, flat surface 1 of pushes the housing wall away.



   Of course, both surface parts 1 and 2 can be provided with such bulges.



   From the above, a universally applicable connecting element for hinge-like connection or mutual fixing of housing parts results, which allows very simple and effective handling.

PATENT CLAIMS 1. Connection element for hinge-like connection or mutual fixing of housing parts, characterized by two film hinge-like (3) interconnected surface parts (1, 2) made of plastic, from which surface parts at least one pin (4) of a push-button connection protrudes.

2. Connecting element according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one surface part (1) in the region of its end edge (6) has a central bulge (5) to form a bottom-side depression (7) for receiving a screwdriver to break the push-button connection.
