Abstract

The lockable box comprises a body with front, rear and side walls, and bottom, and a hinged lid (8). The latter has two pairs of slots (6,7) in planes one above the other. Those in one pair form locking recesses open at one end, and those in the other ones from guides closed at both ends. Pins (4,5) work in each slot, the locking ones emerging from their slots when the lid is opened. The others remain in their slots and limit the opening movement of the lid.    BESCHREIBUNG



   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein verschliessbarer Ablegekasten gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches.



   Es lag ihr die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen solchen Ablegekasten derart auszubilden, dass der Deckel während seiner Überfüh   rund von    der Verschluss- in die Offenstellung geführt bleibt und nicht verloren gehen kann und gleichzeitig die Möglichkeit zu schaffen, den betreffenden Kasten aus Kunststoff herzustellen und ihm ein gefälliges Aussehen zu geben.



   Dies wird erfindungsgemäss durch die im kennzeichnenden Teil des Patentanspruches erwähnten Merkmale erreicht.



   In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes schaubildlich dargestellt, und zwar in
Fig. 1 in der Verschluss- und in
Fig. 2 in der Offenstellung.



   Der Ablegekasten gemäss dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel besitzt eine Vorderwand 1, eine nur aus Fig. 2 ersichtliche Rückwand 2, zwei Seitenwände 3 und einen in der Zeichnung nicht näher dargestellten Boden. Die beiden Seitenwände 3 besitzen je zwei nach aussen abstehende Paare von Bolzen 4 und 5, welche dazu bestimmt sind, mit Schlitzen 6 bzw. 7 des Deckels 8 zusammenzuarbeiten. Die Schlitze 6 und 7 liegen in auf Abstand übereinander angeordneten Ebenen, wobei die Schlitze 6 als einseitig offene Rasten und die Schlitze 7 als Führungen ausgebildet sind.



   Soll nun der Deckel 8 aus der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Verschlussstellung in die Offenstellung übergeführt werden, so erfolgt dies anfänglich durch eine reine Verschiebebewegung des Deckels 8 gegen hinten, bis die Bolzen 4 aus den Rasten 6 ausgetreten sind. Sobald dies der Fall ist, wird der Deckel 8 rückwärts verschwenkt, bis er die in Fig. 2 dargestellte Offenstellung erreicht hat. Während dieser Verschwenkbewegung bleiben dieBolzen 5 in den Schlitzen 7 gefangen, wodurch die Verschwenkbewegung geführt und durch die Länge der Schlitze 7 begrenzt wird.

 

   Die Überführung des Deckels von der in Fig. 2 dargestellten Offenstellung in die Verschlussstellung gemäss Fig. 1 erfolgt in umgekehrter Weise . Dabei können am vordern Ende des Dekkels 8 beliebige Verschlussmittel 9 vorgesehen sein, welche mit solchen am Oberrand der Vorderwand 1 angeordneten zusammenarbeiten.



   Durch einen Ablegekasten dieser Art wird eine ständige Führung des Deckels während seiner Überführung von der Verschlussstellung in die Offenstellung und umgekehrt sowie die Möglichkeit erreicht, den Ablegekasten aus Kunststoff herzustellen und ihm ein gefälliges Äusseres zu geben. 



  
 



   DESCRIPTION



   The invention relates to a lockable storage box according to the preamble of the claim.



   It was the task of her to design such a storage box in such a way that the lid remains guided from the closed position into the open position during its transfer and cannot be lost and at the same time to create the possibility of producing the box in question from plastic and inserting it to give a pleasing look.



   This is achieved according to the invention by the features mentioned in the characterizing part of the patent claim.



   In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown graphically, namely in
Fig. 1 in the closure and in
Fig. 2 in the open position.



   The storage box according to the illustrated embodiment has a front wall 1, a rear wall 2 which can only be seen in FIG. 2, two side walls 3 and a base (not shown in the drawing). The two side walls 3 each have two outwardly projecting pairs of bolts 4 and 5, which are intended to cooperate with slots 6 and 7 of the cover 8. The slots 6 and 7 lie in planes spaced one above the other, the slots 6 being designed as catches open on one side and the slots 7 being designed as guides.



   If the cover 8 is now to be transferred from the closed position shown in FIG. 1 to the open position, this is initially done by simply moving the cover 8 towards the rear until the bolts 4 have come out of the catches 6. As soon as this is the case, the cover 8 is pivoted backwards until it has reached the open position shown in FIG. 2. During this pivoting movement, the bolts 5 remain trapped in the slots 7, whereby the pivoting movement is guided and limited by the length of the slots 7.

 

   The transfer of the cover from the open position shown in FIG. 2 to the closed position according to FIG. 1 takes place in the reverse manner. Any locking means 9 can be provided at the front end of the cover 8 which cooperate with those arranged on the upper edge of the front wall 1.



   A storage box of this type ensures constant guidance of the lid during its transfer from the closed position to the open position and vice versa, as well as the possibility of producing the storage box from plastic and giving it a pleasing appearance.
