BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht des Eckbleches,
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a corner plate, in particular for use in facade corners, window and frame, with two leg parts.
Known corner plates have a front part which is square in cross section with leg parts adjoining these.
The corner plate is fastened by driving nails into the wooden beams through holes provided in the leg parts. Facade cladding is then attached over the leg parts. These known corner plates now have the disadvantage that between the front part and the facade cladding, water can flow between the facade cladding and the leg part, which can lead to rust formation on the fastening means, for example nails or screws, or to other corrosion.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a corner plate in which the region of the leg parts in which the fastening elements for fastening the corner plate are attached is protected against the ingress of water.
This is achieved according to the invention by at least one means provided in the area of at least one of the leg parts for protecting fastening elements to be attached in the area of the legs. A rib designed as a water nose is preferably provided as a protective means in each leg.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention and its use are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing. Show it:
1 is a perspective view of the corner plate,
2 the corner plate mounted on a facade corner on a window or door frame or the like.
In Fig. List an embodiment of the corner plate 1 is shown in perspective. It comprises a front part 2 with a square cross section and two leg parts 3 and 4 adjoining this front part. The corner plate is formed by multiple bending of a flat plate. The front part 2 comprises four interconnected side plates 7, 8, 9 and 10. The leg part 3 adjoins the side plate 7 at right angles thereto and the leg part 4 connects to the side plate 10, likewise at right angles to the same. Somewhat from the middle of the leg parts 3 and 4 against the angled ends 5 and 6, holes 11 and 12 are provided for fastening the legs to the facade corner, the window or rur frame with screws, nails or the like.
Between the holes 11 and 12 and the respective side plates 7 and 10, rib-shaped water lugs 13 and 14 are provided in the leg parts 3 and 4 to protect the fastening elements mounted in the holes 11 and 12 from water.
In an embodiment not shown, the water lugs could also be applied subsequently to the leg parts, for example by gluing.
In Fig. 2 the corner plate 1 fastened to a facade corner, a window or door frame 15 is shown in section. Of the numerous fastening elements for fastening the leg parts 3 and 4 to the wooden post 15, only one nail 16 driven through the opening 11 in the wooden post 15 is shown.
Facade cladding elements 17 and 18 are provided above the leg parts 3 and 4 and connect to the side plates 7 and 10 of the front part 2 of the corner plate 1. By the water lugs 13 and 14 is now prevented that between the leading edges 19 and 20 of the facade elements 17, 18 and the side panels 7 and 10 of the front part water flowing into the area of the fastening elements, in this case the nails 16, can reach and lead to rust formation or other corrosion on the same.
In embodiments not shown in the drawing, the water nose is, for example, rounded or deep-drawn.
