Abstract

The system attaches to a desk and has several letter trays and lamp holders. It has two tubes fixed to the desk and bent through a right angle. The horizontal limbs of the tubes are joined by a third straight tube over which they slide (the third tube having a smaller diameter) and to which they are fixed. The two angled tubes slide on the straight tube so that the resulting U-structure can be made to fit desks of various sizes. The letter trays and lamp holders can be attached to the angled tubes at any position and can be adjusted by sliding along the tubes. The holder consists of a bracket to which a standard spotlight can be attached.

   BESCHREIBUNG



   Die Vorrichtung, an einer Schreibtischplatte befestigt, bietet Ablagen für Monitore, vielgebrauchte Bücher, Unterlagen etc., in der Weise, dass die effektive Arbeitsfläche des Schreibtisches voll ausgenutzt werden kann. Gleichzeitig erlauben die   Lampenhalterungen - mit    Spotlampen versehen - eine optimale Beleuchtung der Arbeitsfläche, den individuellen Bedürfnissen der arbeitenden Person entsprechend.



   Die Grundkonstruktion besteht aus zwei rechtwinklig gebogenen Rohren, welche durch ein drittes, gerades Rohrstück derart verbunden sind, dass eine Anpassung an verschieden lange Schreibtische möglich ist. Die Zeichnungen zeigen:
Fig. 1 die an einer Schreibtischplatte befestigte und mit Spotlampen versehene Vorrichtung,
Fig. 2 die Verbindung der beiden gebogenen Rohre,
Fig. 3 die Befestigung an einer Schreibtischplatte,
Fig. 4 eine Ablagefläche mit Halterung,
Fig. 5 eine Lampenhalterung.



   Der Aussendurchmesser des geraden Rohrstücks 2 entspricht knapp dem Innendurchmesser der beiden gebogenen Rohrstücke 1. Letztere werden an ersteren durch zwei griffige, spitze Schrauben 3 fixiert. An den beiden gebogenen Rohren 1 sind Bohrungen 4 vorhanden, durch welche die Lampenkabel abgeführt werden können.



   Die Vorrichtung ist entsprechend Fig. 3 an den beiden Ecken der hinteren Längsseite der Schreibtischplatte befestigt. Die Befestigung wird durch insgesamt vier gleichartige Halterungen 5 gewährleistet, welche paarweise durch zwei Schrauben an einer Tischplattenecke fixiert sind. Zwischen Schreibtischplatte und Befestigungshalterungen 5 sind dünne Gummiplättchen 6 eingeschoben, so dass die Schreibtischplatte nicht beschädigt wird.

 

   Die Ablagen 7, Fig. 4, bestehen aus einer rechteckigen, dünnen Metaliplatte mit einem niederen Rand, an deren Unterseite ein kurzes Rohrstück 8 mit rechteckigem Querschnitt angebracht ist. Letzteres verbindet die Ablage mit der Halterung 9, welche an den vertikalen Schenkeln der gebogenen Rohre 1 in variabler Position fixiert werden kann.



   An den Lampenhalterungen, Fig. 5, ist ein Metallplättchen 10 angebracht; an dessen freie Bohrungen können handelsübliche Spotlampen angeschraubt werden. 



  
 



   DESCRIPTION



   The device, attached to a desk, offers storage for monitors, widely used books, documents, etc., in such a way that the effective work surface of the desk can be fully used. At the same time, the lamp holders - provided with spot lamps - allow optimal lighting of the work surface, according to the individual needs of the working person.



   The basic construction consists of two pipes bent at right angles, which are connected by a third, straight pipe section in such a way that they can be adapted to desks of different lengths. The drawings show:
1 shows the device attached to a desk top and provided with spot lamps,
2 shows the connection of the two bent tubes,
3 the attachment to a desk top,
4 a storage surface with holder,
Fig. 5 is a lamp holder.



   The outside diameter of the straight pipe section 2 corresponds almost exactly to the inside diameter of the two bent pipe sections 1. The latter are fixed to the former by two handy, pointed screws 3. On the two bent tubes 1 there are bores 4 through which the lamp cables can be led away.



   3, the device is attached to the two corners of the rear long side of the desk top. The attachment is ensured by a total of four identical brackets 5, which are fixed in pairs by two screws on a table top corner. Thin rubber plates 6 are inserted between the desk top and mounting brackets 5, so that the desk top is not damaged.

 

   The shelves 7, Fig. 4, consist of a rectangular, thin metal plate with a lower edge, on the underside of which a short tube piece 8 with a rectangular cross section is attached. The latter connects the shelf to the holder 9, which can be fixed in a variable position on the vertical legs of the bent tubes 1.



   A metal plate 10 is attached to the lamp holders, FIG. 5; Commercial spot lamps can be screwed to its free holes.

PATENT CLAIM Device which can be fastened to a desk top and is provided with a plurality of shelves and lamp holders, characterized in that it has two tubes, which can be fastened to a desk top and are bent at right angles, the horizontal legs of which are connected to one another by being attached to a third, straight tube piece of smaller diameter are and are fixable on the latter, the whole in such a way that an adaptation to different lengths of desk tops is possible, and that the shelves in the adjustable position on the left and right sides of the desk top can be fixed to the curved tubes and the lamp holders are horizontally displaceable.
