BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 3 zeigt eine Ausführungsvariante.
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a method for drying moist material on landfill, in particular hay on stick. Drying systems that ventilate the moist material are already in use. They work in such a way that air is channeled under the floor and blown into it. Since the blown air tends to escape sideways into the open, the deposit is usually sealed all around. This not only requires a corresponding effort, but also prevents natural drying. Ambient air is used almost without exception, with the disadvantage that the drying performance depends on its relative humidity. Depending on the weather, ventilation can take days or even weeks.
There is a process in which preheated air is blown into the floor, which eliminates the dependence on the weather. However, because here too the ventilation system is installed under the floor, the disadvantages remain: If air is blown into the floor by means of a blower, it naturally seeks the path of least resistance in the loose layers. Chimney-like hollow passages are formed, through which the blown air blows quickly and unused, which causes high operating costs. The lower layers of the damp material quickly become thin as a bell, while the layers above or more compact due to the irregular fill are still insufficiently dry.
In another method, drying is attempted by drawing the moist air out of the stick. However, it has been shown that the mere extraction of air does not achieve the desired effect. The outer layers first become dry by vacuuming.
The drying process moves from the outside to the inside, whereby the more compact parts benefit insufficiently.
It is hardly possible to check the degree of dryness on the entire floor, since the wettest parts are in the vicinity of the suction channel. The process has therefore lost interest.
The present invention aims to take advantage of the hot air blowing system and the suction system and to eliminate the disadvantages of the fixed system. The solution to the problem is defined in the characterizing part of claim 1.
Application example according to FIG. 2: Ambient air 2 drawn in by means of a blower 1 is fed to a heater 3 - gas-fired combustion chamber, electric radiator etc. - where it is heated and blown into the floor 5 via a pipe system 4. It heats the material to be dried and removes the moisture, cools down in the process and is drawn off by a second pipe system 6 by means of a blower 11 and blown into the open 12. The injection pipe system 4 and the suction pipe system 6 consist of slotted pipes.
Cross-section and arrangement of the slots 7 ensure that the air is distributed evenly and the moist material is dewatered accordingly. The slots are so narrow that they cannot be carried away on the suction side.
The two pipe systems are connected with flexible and / or fixed lines 10 to the blowers 1 + 11 and the air heater 3.
In order to ensure even ventilation, the stick is loaded in such a way that a mass of the material to be dried is distributed on the floor, the slotted pipes are placed on it approximately parallel at certain intervals and a layer of moist material is layered over it again. The plant is then started up. During the drying process, the blower connections 10 are changed and thus the blow to suction pipes and vice versa, the change being made manually or automatically via a switching system. When the desired degree of drying is reached, the process is repeated, i.e. a new mass of moist material is placed on the dried layer, the tubes pulled out of the drying section are placed on top and covered again with moist material. This continues until the stick has reached the intended height.
Any chimney formation is prevented by the non-fixed arrangement of the blowing and suction pipes (Fig. 1).
With the appropriate system size, pipes can be operated on several levels simultaneously.
3 shows an embodiment variant. It only requires a blower 11, the moist air 9 being sucked out of the stick 5 via the pipe system 6 and driven with pressure to the branch 13, where it is e.g. partially wipes into the open 12 via a throttle 14. The other volume flow is heated in the preheater 3 and supplied to the floor 5 as warm air 8 through the injection pipe system 4.
In another variant according to the scheme in FIG. 4, the blowing air 8 is heated by a heat pump 16.
The high heat content of the moist air 9 from the suction pipe 6 is utilized and brought to a higher temperature level in a known manner by the heat pump. The moist air 9 passes through the heat exchanger 17, is cooled there and dewatered, the condensed water 18 flowing outwards. Then it is pressed by means of the blower 11 through the heat exchanger 19, heated therein and blown through the pipe system 4 into the floor.
The heat pump 16 provides the energy (heat) transport from 17 to 19. In a sub-variant, exhaust air 12 can optionally be removed and / or secondary air 15 added.
