BESCHREIBUNG
7 in Verbindung steht.
In Schliess- bzw.
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a method for determining the erosion of the contact pieces of the contact arrangement of a switching device according to the preamble of claim 1 and an encapsulated switchgear suitable for carrying out this method.
From DE-OS 27 27 378 a device for determining the erosion of the contact pieces of a switching device is known, in which experimentally determined erosion values which characterize the extent of the erosion as a function of the magnitude of the switched-off current are stored in a memory. Each time the power supply is interrupted by the switching device, a burn-off value corresponding to the switched-off current is read from this memory. The read-out burn-up values are summed up to a total value, which is compared with a target value. From reaching or exceeding this setpoint, excessive burn-off is then concluded.
This known solution now requires one electronic device that operates continuously in normal operation for each switching device to be monitored, which is very complex. Furthermore, this known device cannot be subjected to particularly high requirements in terms of meaningfulness, since the extent of the erosion is not measured directly on the contact arrangement, but rather is determined indirectly in the manner described.
In the method known from DE-PS 20 55 477 for monitoring the operating state of the contact arrangements of switching devices of an encapsulated switchgear, an auxiliary circuit containing the encapsulation between two earthing switches is used with a voltage source. By closing the two earthing switches and the isolating switch arranged between them and in the current conductor of the switchgear, a current path is formed which is parallel to this auxiliary circuit and comprises the earthing switches, the isolating switch and part of the electric conductor. The operating state of the disconnector and the earthing switch is then deduced from the change in resistance that results when this parallel current path is switched on.
This method now does not allow a precise statement about the operating state of the individual switching devices, since it can not be readily determined based on an abnormal resistance change that may have been ascertained whether the contact arrangement of the isolating switch or one of the earthing switches has not closed properly. Another disadvantage is that additional equipment is required. Moreover, with this known method it is not possible to determine the extent of the contact erosion.
The present invention has for its object to provide a method of the type mentioned, which allows an effective and meaningful determination of the contact wear in a time-saving manner without extensive additional circuitry and equipment.
This object is now achieved according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.
For the formation of the test circuit separated from the rest of the switchgear, existing components in the switchgear, i.e. Disconnectors and earthing switches are used, so that no additional switching devices are required and no further electrical connections have to be made.
Thus, no intervention in the switchgear is necessary, i.e. the encapsulation does not have to be opened. It is only necessary to remove the current transformer on the secondary side in such a way that power can be supplied. The arrangement for measuring the closing or opening path of the contact arrangement can be connected without difficulty to its drive located outside the encapsulation.
Encapsulated switchgear that are suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention are characterized by the features of the characterizing part of claim 2.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. It shows purely schematically:
1 shows an example of an encapsulated switchgear in which it is possible to determine the contact erosion according to the invention,
FIG. 2 shows, even more schematically than in FIG. 1, the section of the switchgear assembly according to FIG. 1 containing the test circuit, and
3 and 4 are diagrams illustrating the course of the current in the test circuit and the closing path of the movable contact piece of the switching device to be tested as a function of time.
The encapsulated switchgear assembly 1 shown in FIG. 1 and in sections and schematically in FIG. 2 has an earthed metal encapsulation 2, the ground connection of which is indicated purely schematically and designated by E. A current bar 3 runs inside the encapsulation 2 and is connected to two bus bars 6 and 7 via two branch bars 4 and 5.
The rails 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are supported by means of supports 8 made of insulating material, which are designed as partition walls. A circuit breaker 9 is arranged in the busbar 3, the contact arrangement of which is designated 10 and consists of a movable contact piece 11 and a fixed contact piece 12. The movable contact piece 11 is connected to the drive linkage 13a of a drive (13) which is located outside the encapsulation 2. On one side of the circuit breaker 9 there is a disconnector 14, the drive of which is designated 15. On both sides of the Lei stungsschalter 9 a grounding switch 16 or 17 is provided, which can be switched on and off by means of a drive 18 or 19. A further isolating switch 20 and 21 is arranged in the branch rails 4 and 5, the drive of which is designated 22 and 23, respectively.
Furthermore, earthing switches 24 and 25 are arranged in the area of the busbars 6 and 7 and can be actuated by means of an associated drive 26 or 27.
A current transformer 28 is arranged between the circuit breaker 9 and the disconnector 14, the core of which carries the secondary winding being designated 29. This secondary winding can be connected via a changeover switch 30 either to an operating circuit B containing a current meter 31 or to a measuring circuit M which has an AC voltage source 32 and a current measuring device 33. The current measuring device 33 can be a display or registration device, but also a cathode ray or loop oscillograph.
To measure the closing or opening path of the movable contact piece 11, there is a displacement measuring device 34 which has an adjustable resistor 35, the setting contact 36 of which is connected to the drive linkage 13a of the drive 13 for this movable contact piece 11. A voltage source 37 and an indicating or registering current measuring device 38 are connected in series with this adjustable resistor 35. This current measuring device 38 can also be a cathode ray or loop oscillograph.
To determine the erosion of the contact arrangement 10 of the circuit breaker 9, a test circuit 39 is now formed when the contact arrangement 10 is open by closing the two earthing switches 16 and 17, which circuit is encapsulated 2 or
is closed over earth E. This test circuit 39 is separated from the rest of the switchgear assembly 1 by opening the isolating switches 14, 20 and 21. The secondary winding of the current transformer 29 is disconnected from the operating circuit B and connected to the measuring circuit M.
The secondary winding of the current transformer 28 is now fed from the feed source 32. Since the contact arrangement 10 of the circuit breaker 9 is open, the magnetizing current lo flows in the measuring circuit M (FIG. 3). Now the movable contact piece 11 of the contact arrangement 10 of the circuit breaker 9 is closed by means of the drive 13. The path a, which this movable contact piece 11 travels during the closing process, is measured by the measuring device 34. 4, this path a is plotted as a function of time t. As soon as the two contacts 11 and 12 of the contact arrangement 10 of the switch 9 touch, a reduced current Ii flows in the test circuit 39 (FIG. 3).
The clearly determinable start of the current flow in the test circuit 39 (indicated in FIG. 3 as occurring at the time ti) is now characteristic of the closing of the contact arrangement 10 or of the contacts 11 and 12 being touched. At the closing or contact time (tl in Fig. 3) the path a2 is now measured, which the movable contact piece 11 has covered from its open position denoted by aO. This distance a2 is compared with a target value that corresponds to the closing path aj of the movable contact piece 11 until it contacts the fixed contact piece 12 when the two contact pieces 11 are new.
12 corresponds. The resulting path difference Aa now corresponds to the size of the contact erosion.
In other words, because of the contact erosion, the movable contact piece 11 has a closing distance which is longer by Aa than in the new state.
In Fig. 3 with a3 the path of the movable contact piece 11 is referred to the switch-on position.
If the contact arrangement 10 of the circuit breaker 9 has erosion contacts connected in parallel with the current-carrying main contacts, the time of contact of the erosion or
Main contacts also determine exactly what, in the manner described, allows the erosion of the main and erosion contacts to be determined by comparison with a desired value corresponding to the new condition.
For the described determination of the contact erosion, the parts (switch disconnectors 14, 20 and 21; earthing switches 16 and 17 and current transformers 28) that are already part of the switchgear 1 are used for the most part. In addition, only one measuring device 34 is required for measuring the closing path of the movable contact piece 11 and one measuring circuit M for feeding the secondary winding of the current transformer 28. These additional parts can be connected and actuated from outside the encapsulation 2, so that it is not necessary to open the encapsulation 2 to determine the contact erosion.
The extent of the contact erosion can be determined in a simple and meaningful manner by measurement on the movable contact piece 11.
It is also possible in the manner described to determine the contact erosion in one of the disconnectors 14, 20, 21 or one of the earthing switches 16, 17, 24 or 25. For this purpose, in addition to the possibility of measuring the closing path of the movable contact piece, it is only necessary that a test circuit having a secondary-side power supply and the test arrangement to be tested can be formed, which can be disconnected from the rest of the switchgear 1.
It goes without saying that the contact erosion can also be determined in a manner other than that described. Only a few of the possible variants are briefly explained below.
The measuring device 34 for measuring the closing path of the movable contact piece 11 can also be designed differently than shown. Furthermore, it is not absolutely necessary that the path of the movable contact piece 11 is plotted as a function of time. A pure distance measurement is sufficient to determine the contact erosion. However, the determination of the closing path a as a function of time has the advantage that a possible error in the switch drive 13 can be determined by comparing the time sequence of the closing process with a target curve.
The contact erosion can also be determined when the contact arrangement 10 to be tested is opened. The distance that the movable contact piece 11 travels from the switch-on position a3 until it is lifted off the fixed contact piece 12 is measured. The time of this contact separation can be determined precisely by monitoring the current profile in the measuring circuit M of the current transformer 28, since in the test circuit 39 the current flow is interrupted at the time the contact is removed, which is correspondingly noticeable on the secondary side of the current transformer 28.
Instead of the described measurement of the path a of the movable contact piece 11 up to the contact contact or contact separation, it would also be conceivable to measure in a corresponding way the path that the movable contact piece 11 from the contact contact or separation to its end position ON or OFF covered.
