Abstract
An annular magnet (2) around the shaft (1) of the rotor with a radially projecting collar (8) is held concentrically by a cylindrical plastics body (3) having two walls (10,11). The collar (8) extends from the shaft (1) in the region of the thicker wall (11), and prevents axial displacement of the shaft in either direction. A pinion (4) is formed on the thinner wall (10) of the plastics body (3). The magnet (2) may be held by a tool engaging in recesses (12) while the body (3) is being formed. The individual components of the rotor are of simple shape and can be mass-produced cheaply. After injection moulding the rotor requires no further processing. ADVANTAGE - Can be mfd. in large nubmers at low cost.
