BESCHREIBUNG
Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen.
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a high-voltage current transformer according to the preamble of claim 1.
From DE-OS 2 242 011 a high-voltage current transformer is known which has a toroidal core housing which encloses at least one secondary winding. The core housing is encased in solid insulation. A feed-through tube leads away from the core housing, which receives signal lines which lead from the secondary winding to a measuring device. A primary conductor is fixed in a window of the core housing by means of a holder. This holder consists of a head housing, a porcelain insulator and a foot part of the high-voltage current transformer. These interconnected components absorb the reaction forces acting on the primary conductor. The porcelain insulator limits the mechanical resilience of the holder, in particular also its breaking force.
The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention, as characterized in the claims, solves the problem of creating a high-voltage current transformer of the type mentioned, in which an increase in the mechanical strength, in particular an increase in the manageable breaking force, is achieved with simple means.
The advantages achieved by the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that the measures for increasing the mechanical load-bearing capacity of the high-voltage current transformer substantially relieve its solid insulation with regard to the breaking forces. The consequence of this is that elastic insulation material can be used for solid insulation in order to achieve a high degree of insensitivity to transport effects. Furthermore, the shape of the solid insulation can now be optimized according to the dielectric requirements, which is not possible to this extent with conventional solid insulation that also fulfills extensive load-bearing functions. Another significant advantage of the high-voltage current transformers according to the invention is that all secondary circuits are surrounded by the core housing.
This means that if there is a defect in the solid insulation, voltages that are dangerous for the operating personnel can never be transferred to the secondary circuit.
The further developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of drawings which illustrate only one embodiment.
It shows:
Fig. 1 is a plan view of a first section through an inventive high-voltage current transformer, and
2 is a plan view of a second section, rotated through 90, through the high-voltage current transformer according to the invention corresponding to FIG. 1.
In both figures, parts with the same effect are provided with the same reference symbols.
1 and 2, a high-voltage current transformer 1 designed as a top current transformer is shown. A metal foot part 3 provided with a grounded shield electrode 2 carries a metal feed-through tube 4. The feed-through tube 4 widens conically towards the foot part 3 and it is tightly connected to a core housing 5 which is tightly assembled from at least two parts. The core housing 5 is made of antimagnetic, electrically conductive material made like a torus.
An annular space 6 enclosed by the core housing 5 contains at least one annular core 7 with at least one secondary winding 8 and corresponding holders and wedges, not shown. The ends of the secondary winding 8 are guided as signal lines 9 through the lead-through tube 4 into the foot part 3 into a terminal box (not shown) and from there to a measuring device.
The core housing 5, the feed-through tube 4 and the foot part 3 are mechanically and galvanically connected to form a unit which is at ground potential and which, together with a solid insulation 10, forms a holder carrying the primary conductor 11. The solid insulation 10 consists of at least two layers. A first layer 10a consists of a wound paper insulation which envelops the core housing 5 and the lead-through tube 4. A second layer 10b consists of an insulating material which is usually applied to the paper insulation by a casting process. The layer 10b of the solid insulation 10 preferably consists of a gas-tight elastic or quasi-elastic and weather-resistant insulating material which is processed without any gaps or voids. It is possible to apply the layer 10b in one or more layers.
Insulating materials from the group of silicone elastomers are particularly suitable as insulating material for the layer 10b of the solid insulation 10. The application of insulating shields 14 can take place together with the application of the layer 10b of the solid insulation 10, but it can also be done later in a known manner. Furthermore, it is possible to cover the entire outer surface of the layer 10b with a weatherproof insulation layer, so that weatherproof insulation material can be used in the interior of the layer 10b.
Cavities which are always present in the layer 10a of the solid insulation 10 which is wound from insulating paper are filled by means of a liquid or gaseous insulating agent. For this purpose, the space containing the layer 10a is first evacuated, the fittings required for this are not shown, and then the insulating groove is allowed to diffuse in. Degassed insulating oil or an insulating gas, e.g. SF6, under normal pressure.
A compensation vessel 21, which is placed tightly on the highest point of the high-voltage current transformer 1 and which can have bellows-movable side walls, seals off the space containing the layer 10a, which at this point penetrates the layer 10b, from the atmosphere. The compensating vessel 21 serves to absorb temperature-dependent volume fluctuations in the liquid or gaseous insulating agent.
The compensating vessel 21 is protected against environmental influences by means of a protective hood 22. A transition zone 13, where the solid insulation 10 meets the foot part 3, must also be pressure-tight, this can be done in different ways and is therefore not shown.
When the layer 10b of the solid insulation 10 is applied, the primary conductor 11 is poured directly into the window of the core housing 5 and fixed there. It has connection lugs 18.
Between the high voltage potential primary conductor 11 and the ground potential core housing 5, a control electrode 25 is embedded in the layer 10a of the solid insulation 10, which also surrounds the upper part of the lead-through tube 4. This control electrode 25 can consist of electrically conductive or slightly conductive material and it is advantageously provided with a large number of comparatively small openings which facilitate the diffusion of the liquid or gaseous insulating agent.
1 and 2 are considered in more detail to explain the mode of operation. The primary conductor 11 is based on the solid insulation 10 in the window of the core housing 5. The specific mechanical load on the solid insulation 10 is relatively low in this area, since the reaction forces originating from the primary conductor 11 are transmitted over a large area. The core housing 5 and the feed-through tube 4 absorb these reaction forces and transmit them to the foot part 3, which rests on a solid foundation. The solid insulation 10 does not have to absorb any bending loads, which is why its layer 10b advantageously consists of elastic or quasi-elastic insulating material and is less sensitive to shocks during transport than mechanically high-strength but brittle solid insulation.
All bending loads are absorbed by the metallic, mechanically and galvanically connected parts such as foot part 3, feed-through tube 4 and core housing 5, which can be designed without any problems for the loads to be expected by means of appropriate cross-sections and wall thicknesses. The feed-through tube 4, which is designed to be flared in the foot part 3, has a particularly high resistance to breakage. As a result of these measures, the solid insulation 10 remains largely free of bending stresses, it can be optimally adapted to the dielectric requirements in terms of the insulating material and the shape, and an optimal material selection can also be made with regard to weather resistance.
The control electrode 25 has the task of designing the electrical field between the primary conductor 11, which is at high voltage potential, and the core housing 5, which is at ground potential, and the lead-through tube 4 in such a way that no area of the solid insulation 10 is dielectrically overloaded. Since the solid insulation 10 remains largely free of bending loads, it is possible to design the shape of the control electrode 25 solely from a dielectric point of view.
In the high-voltage current transformer according to the invention, it is also possible to loop the primary conductor several times through the window of the core housing 5 if the primary conductor 11 is designed in such a way that it consists of a corresponding number of subconductors insulated from one another.
Furthermore, it is also possible to design the high-voltage current transformer according to the invention as a pot current transformer. The primary conductor, which is designed to be rigid against bending and torsion, takes over all reaction forces, so that the solid insulation remains largely free of mechanical bending loads and can therefore be designed in a similarly advantageous manner to that of a top current transformer.
