Abstract
At the discharge end of a printing machine is a winding core (1) round which is wound a securing strip (3) unwound from a reel (2) and supported by a tangential conveying belt (9). Into the nip (15) between the strip and the core are fed overlapping signatures. Two resilient guiding blades (13,14) also fit into the nip to separate incoming signatures from alread wound signatures. The securing strip is narrow, and the two blades are spaced each side of it, almost completing the width of the core. The blades are supported by vertically and horizontally adjustable bearings (11,12) and are made of spring steel or plastics. USE/ADVANTAGE - Compact, even winding of overlapping signatures in printing press.
Description
BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht einer Vorrichtung,
Fig. 2 eine Ansicht in Richtung des Pfeiles II in Fig. 1,
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.
Such devices are described for example in DE-OS 2544135 and 3221153. In such devices, several hundred meters of winding tape are required for the production of a roll, which is why the smallest possible winding tapes are used for cost reasons. The result of this is that the printed sheets protrude laterally beyond the winding tape and that the roll is severely constricted in the middle when highly compressible printed sheets are stored. When such printed sheets are wound up, the mutually facing edges parallel to the winding axis of the printed sheets of the outermost winding layer that meet in the inlet gap on the one hand and the printed sheets lying on the inlet section on the other hand can collide in such a way that individual printed sheets may be disruptively moved into further processing.
The object of the present invention is to improve a device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the use of narrow winding tapes is possible without the disadvantage mentioned.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
The invention is explained, for example, with the aid of the attached schematic drawing. Show it:
1 is a side view of a device,
2 is a view in the direction of arrow II in Fig. 1,
3 shows a detail from FIG. 1 when winding up a shingled stream, in which the preceding printed sheet lies on the following one,
Fig. 4 is the same representation as Fig. 3 when winding up a shingled stream, in which the subsequent printed sheet rests on the previous one.
In Fig. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a rotatably mounted winding core on which a winding tape 3 which can be pulled off a braked supply roll 2 can be wound and which can be placed under tension by means of a tensioning device 4. A rocker which can be pivoted about the axis 5 can be adjusted by means of a cylinder-piston unit against the winding core 1 or the winding formed thereon.
The rocker 6 carries at the ends deflection rollers 7 and 8, over which an endless pair of conveyor belts 9 is guided, between the runs of which the winding belt 3 runs. A conveyor line 10 ends in front of the deflection roller 7 and brings the printed sheets resulting from a rotary printing machine in scale formation and transfers them to the conveyor belt pair 9. The conveyor line 10, the conveyor belt pair 9 and the winding belt 3 move at least approximately the same speed. The conveyor belt pair 9 and / or the winding core 1 can be driven by a motor, not shown. The structure of such a storage device is described, for example, in CH-A 662547.
Two bearing bodies 11 and 12 are arranged above the rocker 6 forming an inlet section with their conveyor belt pair 9, and can be displaced vertically and / or horizontally by means not shown. On each of these bearing bodies 11, 12, a train 13, 14 is fastened with one end, whereas its free end projects into the winding gap 15, which is formed by the winding core 1 or the winding on the one hand and the bands 3, 9 on the other hand. The trails 13, 14 can be made of spring steel, a flexible plastic belt or the like and must have a low-friction, smooth surface in the area of the winding gap 15.
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the trails 13, 14 are arranged laterally next to the winding tape 3 and thereby prevent the incoming printing sheets from meeting one another with their edges facing one another and oriented transversely to the conveying direction. Instead of two trains, a single train could also be used, which extends at least approximately over the width of the winding or winding mandrel.
