BESCHREIBUNG
Darin zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Ansicht der Vorrichtung,
Fig. 3 eine Ansicht in Richtung III in Fig. 2, und
Fig. 4 einen Schnitt längs der Linie IV-IV in Fig. 2.
DESCRIPTION
A device according to the preamble of the claim is known from EP-A 105844. It is a device for feeding single sheets from a supply stack. A spring-loaded support plate presses the stack against a friction wheel. which intermittently grabs and conveys the top sheet of the stack. For the separation of the sheets of the stack, separation corners lie on the two front corners of the stack.
This type of separation is suitable for normal paper sheets, but is not suitable for stiffer sheet-like elements, such as. B. Envelopes.
The object of the invention is to develop a separating device according to the preamble of claim 1 in such a way that it is suitable for feeding envelopes, index cards or the like.
is suitable. This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1. An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. In it show:
1 is a perspective view of the device,
2 is a plan view of the device of FIG. 1,
Fig. 3 is a view in the direction III in Fig. 2, and
4 shows a section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 2.
The device shown is designed as a removable additional device for a typewriter 1. It comprises an attachment 3 which can be placed on an intermediate frame 2. The intermediate frame 2 has two side plates 10 which are connected to one another by cross members 11
Inserting the intermediate frame 2, the side plates 10 have a recess 13 at the bottom, which encompass the shaft 7 of the platen roller 4. In the inserted state, a toothed wheel 12 of the intermediate frame 2 meshes via an intermediate wheel 19 with a toothed wheel 6 of the typewriter 1 connected to the shaft 4 in a rotationally fixed manner. Two transport rollers 16 and another toothed wheel 15 sit on the shaft 14 of the toothed wheel 12.
With a further shaft 18, two pressure rollers 17 are pressed against the transport rollers 16.
The attachment 3 can be placed on the intermediate frame 2, the recesses 24 in the side plates 21, 22 of the attachment
Reach around shaft 14. When the attachment 3 is attached, a drive wheel 25 meshes with the gear 15 via a further intermediate gear 20 and is thus connected to the platen roller 4 without slipping.
The drive wheel 25 drives two friction wheels 43 mounted on a shaft 42 via gear wheels 26, 29, a toothed belt 27 and an interval gear 30. The friction wheels 43 are located at the lower front end of a magazine 49. This consists of two sheets 50, 51 bent at right angles. the upstanding side walls 51 forming guides for the stack 8. The sheets 50, 51 are guided transversely on a cross member 23 connecting the side walls 21, 22 in order to adapt the magazine width to the envelope width. They engage at the bottom in drivers 47 axially coupled with the friction wheels 43, so that the friction wheels 43 which are axially displaceable on the shaft 42 are carried along when the magazine width is adjusted.
As can be seen from Fig. 4, the stack 8 of envelopes 9 lies in front on the friction wheel 43 and in the back on a support which, for. B. can consist of two rotatable on a shaft 78 support rollers 77 on. The front edges of the lowermost envelopes 9 rest on a deflector 70, which includes an acute angle with the common tangential plane of the support rollers 77 and the friction wheels 43. It is thereby achieved that the front end of the bottom envelope 9 gripped by the friction wheels is bent downward and the envelope 9 is conveyed. As soon as it is pulled off the support rollers 77, it hangs freely behind and is no longer loaded there by the pressure of the stack 8.
In order to make the contact pressure of the stack 8 on the friction wheels 43 largely independent of the stack height at the front, a contact plate 74 fastened to the side plates 21, 22 is provided, which overlaps the deflector 70 and encloses an obtuse angle with the aforementioned tangential plane. The effect of the contact plate 74 is increased if it is also provided with steps, analogous to the step between contact plate 74 and deflector 70.
If differently flexible envelopes 9 are to be conveyed, it is advantageous to design the deflector 70 to be pivotable about an axis 71 parallel to the axis 42 of the friction wheels 43. A more acute angle to the tangential plane is optimal for stiff envelopes than for more flexible envelopes. The deflector 70 is bent at the bottom to feed the envelopes 9 to the transport roller 16. The envelopes 9 are pressed onto this roller 16 by pressing rollers 56 which are seated in the attachment 3 on a shaft 55 which is movably mounted in slots 57 of the side walls 21, 22 and is loaded by springs (not shown).
In order to achieve a constant registration of the envelopes, regardless of the length of the envelopes 9 measured in the conveying direction, the friction wheels 43 are only driven until the conveyed envelope is gripped by the transport rollers 16. Subsequently, the friction wheels run due to a freewheel 44 each, with the shaft 42 at a standstill. For this purpose, the interval gear 30 is provided. This comprises a semicircular disk 31 rigidly connected to the gear 29, which engages in recesses 36 of a disk 35 connected to the shaft 42 during half a revolution of the gear 29 and locks it against rotation.
Axially offset from the disk 31, a gearwheel segment 32 is connected to it, which meshes with a gearwheel 37 connected to the disk 35 during the part of the rotational movement of the gearwheel 33, during which the disk 31 is disengaged from the recesses 36.
When the labeled envelopes 9 emerge from the platen roller 4, they are conveyed into the gap between the transport roller 16 and the pressure roller 17 and are gripped by the roller 16 and transported upwards. Passed by a guide plate 81 (FIG. 4), which is not shown in FIG. 1 for reasons of clarity, they each come between an ejection roller 66 and a pressure roller 68. The ejection rollers 66 are connected via their common shaft 65, a gear 64 connected thereto and one another toothed belt 28 driven by the gear 26. The eject roller 66 feeds the envelopes 9 into a tray 60.
