BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch einen Keilverschluss mit der erfindungsgemässen Zündvorrichtung;
Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt durch ein Zündlochbajonett;
Fig. 3 eine Seitenansicht des in Fig. 2 dargestellten Zündlochbajonettes;
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a device for firing a cartridge on a firearm with a wedge lock, with a spring-loaded firing pin for piercing the cartridge, which is slidably mounted in the wedge lock and protrudes by a certain amount from an ignition hole on the butt plate of the wedge lock when the cartridge is pierced.
In a known device of this type (see DE-PS 1149 276), a bolt action trigger for firearms, in particular guns, a spring for tensioning and firing is clamped between two abutments movable in the direction of the firing pin. These abutments are controlled by the trigger. The trigger shaft carries a double cam with two opposing cams and runs across the firing pin axis. During tensioning, one cam acts on the rear spring abutment via a pressure piece and the other cam acts on a tension bolt and a tension piece firmly connected to the firing pin, as well as via a sleeve on the front spring abutment.
This device has the disadvantage that reliable piercing of the cartridge by the firing pin or firing pin is only ensured if the cartridge located in the weapon barrel with its sleeve base, in which the capsule to be pierced is located, lies tightly against the butt plate of the wedge lock. The firing pin is pushed against the cartridge by the tension spring and pushes its shoulder against a stop on the wedge lock. This ensures that the tip of the firing pin or firing pin always protrudes by the same amount over the butt plate of the wedge lock and the tip of the firing pin can always penetrate to the same depth in the primer of the cartridge, provided the cartridge base of the cartridge is in contact with the butt plate of the wedge lock.
This is necessary because if the tip of the firing pin penetrates too far into the primer, there is a risk that the primer base will be pierced. This is not permitted, since otherwise propellant gases get into the weapon through the perforated primer cap and cause damage. However, when cartridges with extractor grooves are inserted into the cartridge chamber of the weapon barrel, the cartridge case is not always compressed to the same extent. Thus, the case bottom of the cartridge, as seen in the axial direction of the weapon barrel, is not always in the same place, but if the cartridge is severely compressed, it will be too far forward. Cartridges with a protruding edge behave differently. These cartridges are always pushed into the gun barrel until this edge is at the rear end of the gun barrel.
However, since the wedge lock of the firearm cannot be moved in the axial direction of the weapon barrel, if the cartridge case is severely compressed, the sleeve base will no longer be in contact with the butt plate of the wedge lock without a protruding edge. However, if the bottom of the sleeve is no longer in contact with the butt plate of the wedge lock, then there is no guarantee that the firing pin will reliably pierce the cartridge's primer, since it may not be able to penetrate deep enough into the primer base.
The object that is to be achieved with the present invention is to create an ignition device which ensures reliable piercing of the cartridge, regardless of how much the cartridge case was compressed when it was inserted into the weapon barrel.
The device according to the invention, with which this object is achieved, is characterized in that a displaceable body, which is in contact with the bottom of the cartridge when it is fired, is arranged in the butt plate of the wedge fastener, through which the firing pin protrudes by the required amount when the cartridge is pierced and on resiliently supports this body.
The displaceable body is preferably designed as an ignition hole bayonet which is displaceably anchored in the wedge lock by a bayonet lock.
A preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention for igniting a cartridge on a firearm with a wedge lock is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing.
It shows:
1 shows a longitudinal section through a wedge lock with the ignition device according to the invention.
2 shows a longitudinal section through an ignition hole bayonet;
Fig. 3 is a side view of the pilot hole bayonet shown in Fig. 2;
Fig. 4 is a rear view of the ignition hole bayonet shown in Fig. 2; and
Fig. 5 is a front view of the ignition hole bayonet shown in Fig. 2.
1, the ignition device according to the invention is located in a wedge lock 10 of a firearm, not shown. The ignition device has an ignition pin or firing pin 12, which is fastened to a sleeve 13, which is slidably guided in a bore 11 of the wedge lock 10. This continuous bore 11 is closed at both ends by a body 14 and 15, respectively. A spring 16, which is partially inside the sleeve 13, is supported on the one hand on the bottom of the sleeve 13 and on the other hand on the body 15 and has the aim of firing the ignition pin 12 into a bore 17 (FIG. 2), which is referred to as the ignition hole bayonet Body 14 to slide in. To move the firing pin 12 from the position shown, against the force of the spring 16, i.e. to the right in Fig. 1, serves a cam disc 18 which is fixed on a shaft 29.
The cam disk 18 has a cam 19 which is supported on a shoulder 20 of the sleeve 13. To secure the firing pin 12, a pin 21 is used which is axially displaceably mounted and which can protrude into a recess 22 in the sleeve 13 when it is displaced in the axial direction. The two bodies 14 and 15 are anchored in the bore (11) of the wedge lock 10 with the aid of conventional bayonet locks. The shape of the body 14 can be seen in Figs. 2-5.
According to FIGS. 2-5, the body 14 has a disk 23 at the front, which lies against the bottom 24 of a cartridge case 25 (FIG. 1), and the body 14 has two cams 26 and 27 at the rear, which protrude into corresponding recesses in the bore 11 and secure the body 14 against falling out of the bore 11 of the wedge lock 10. In order to be able to pull the body 14 out of the bore 11, it must be rotated by 90 in this bore, for this purpose there are two slots 28 on the front of the disk 23. The body 14 is held axially displaceable by a limited stroke in the bore 11 of the wedge lock 10 by means of the bayonet lock.
In the position shown in FIG. 1, the sleeve 13 of the ignition pin 12 is supported on the body 14 and the spring 16 presses the body 14 against the bottom 24 of the cartridge case 25 via the sleeve 13, so that the disk 23 rests on the case bottom 24. The tip of the firing pin 12 protrudes from the disk 23 by a certain amount and penetrates into the capsule of the cartridge 25 by exactly this amount when a cartridge 25 is pierced.
The operation of the ignition device described is as follows:
So that a cartridge 25 can be pushed into the gun barrel of the firearms, the wedge lock 10 must first be moved down in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 1 and as soon as a cartridge is in the gun barrel, the wedge lock 10 returns to its closed position. When the cartridge is inserted into the barrel, the cartridge case 25 is compressed to a greater or lesser extent. The distance a between the sleeve base 24 and the so-called butt plate 30 of the wedge lock 10 is therefore not always the same. However, since the body 14 is arranged axially displaceably in the bore 11 of the wedge lock 10, the spring 16 can press the body 14, the firing hole bayonet, against the bottom 24 of the cartridge case via the sleeve 13.
This happens as soon as the bolt 21, which projects into the recess 22 of the sleeve 13 before the cartridge is pierced, releases the sleeve 13 and thus the ignition pin 12 for piercing the cartridge. After piercing the cartridge, the ignition device is cocked again.
For this purpose, the cam disk 18 is rotated clockwise with the aid of the shaft 29, the cam 19 abuts the shoulder 22 and presses the sleeve 13 with the ignition pin 12 again, counter to the force of the spring 16, to the right in FIG. 1.
Since the tip of the firing pin 12 can only protrude from the body 14 by a certain amount, it is ensured that the primer of the cartridge is always pierced to the same depth, irrespective of how much the cartridge case was pushed into the barrel.
