BESCHREIBUNG
Fig. 1 eine Rohrverbindung im Längsschnitt und
DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a pipe connection for plastic pipes as characterized in the preamble of claim 1.
Such pipe connections are known (screw connection from E.P.B. Prandelli or DE-Gbm 1 949 499), the plastic pipe being held in the axial direction by means of sawtooth-shaped recesses arranged in the support sleeve. This creates sharp notches in the pipe, which can lead to tearing or damage to the pipe ends if the stresses increase due to temperature fluctuations.
Furthermore, it is known (DE-Gbm 8217 561) to provide the outer circumference of the support sleeve and the inner circumference of the clamping sleeve with a profile which is wavy in the longitudinal direction. Although the notch stresses and the risk of pulling out under tensile loads were reduced, it was possible to find out through tests that the pipe connection was no longer leakproof with a large number of temperature changes.
The object of the present invention is to provide a pipe connection for plastic pipes mentioned in the introduction, in which the two functions of holding and sealing the pipe are ensured without additional seals in the event of changing loads and temperature fluctuations during the required service life.
This object is achieved by the teaching specified in claim 1.
Due to the wave-shaped design of the outer end of the support sleeve and the clamping sleeve, the tube is deformed and held without harmful notches where the axial forces from the tube are introduced into the tube connecting parts. At the end of the pipe, where the stresses in the pipe caused by tensile and bending stresses are largely reduced, the pipe is pressed into the tooth-shaped grooves of the support sleeve by the ring beads of the clamping sleeve, which significantly improves the sealing effect, with the resulting notch stresses in this Do not adversely affect the durability of the connection.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in the remaining dependent claims.
The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing using an exemplary embodiment and described below. Show it:
Fig. 1 is a pipe joint in longitudinal section and
Fig. 2 shows an embodiment variant with two pipe connections on a connector, partly in section.
Fig. 1 shows a pipe connection, the connecting part 1 being designed as a connecting nipple which is connected by means of an internal thread 2 e.g. can be connected with a fitting, a fitting or a pipe with an external thread. On the opposite side of the internal thread 2, a support sleeve 3 is tightly and non-rotatably connected to the connecting piece 1 by means of a thread 4 and / or a soldered or adhesive connection 5. A plastic pipe 6 to be connected is pushed onto the support sleeve 3. A clamping sleeve 7 is arranged on the outer diameter of the plastic tube 6, the outer circumference 8 of which is conical and has a radial slot running in the longitudinal direction.
A screw part which can be screwed onto an external thread 9 of the connection nipple I and is designed as a union nut 10 has an inner clamping cone 11, by means of which the clamping sleeve 7 is radially compressed when the union nut 10 is tightened and the plastic tube 6 6 is clamped onto the support sleeve 3. The connecting nipple 1 is provided with a conically diminishing recess 12 which, together with a centering pin 13 of the clamping sleeve 7 which runs with the same cone angle, forms a centering seat 14 for the clamping sleeve 7 which is not yet braced in the preassembled state.
The ring end face 15 delimiting the recess 12 forms an axial stop for the plastic tube 6 and the clamping sleeve 7.
The outer circumference of the support sleeve 3 and the inner circumference of the clamping sleeve 7 are provided with extensive profile grooves. To 1/4 to 1/3 of the free length of the support sleeve 7, tooth-shaped profile grooves 16 are arranged on the connection part-side end region and then wavy profile grooves 17 extending in the longitudinal direction up to the outer end 18. The inner circumference of the clamping sleeve 7 has raised annular beads 19, for example radially opposite to the tooth-shaped profile grooves 16, with e.g. a triangular or semicircular cross section, which press the plastic tube 6 sealingly into the grooves 16 when the clamping sleeve 7 is clamped. Following the annular beads 19, the clamping sleeve 7 has wavy profile grooves 17a, which are arranged corresponding to those of the support sleeve 6.
When the clamping sleeve 7 is clamped, the plastic tube 6 is deformed in a wave shape in this area, so that it is held in the axial direction without any disadvantageous notch stresses. The cross section of the tooth-shaped profile grooves 16 can e.g. be tooth-shaped as an isosceles triangle with or without rounded tips or saw.
The outer ends 18 and 20 of the support sleeve 3 and the clamping sleeve 7 are each chamfered and / or rounded, so that the plastic tube 6 can be easily pushed onto the support sleeve and after the pipe connection has been made, no significant edge pressures can arise when the tube is bent.
2 shows an embodiment variant for a pipe connection, the connection part 1 being designed as a fitting connection piece 21 with two pipe connections 22 lying closely next to one another. For this purpose, the connection part 1 is each provided with an internal thread 24, into which a screw part designed as a screw-in nipple 25 and provided with a clamping cone 11 can be screwed.
This allows small dimensions of the fitting connection piece 21 with a small distance A between the two plastic pipes 6. The support sleeve 3 centered and glued or soldered in with a cylindrical seat in the connection part 1 and the clamping sleeve 7 which can be clamped by means of the screw-in nipple 25 have the profile described in FIG. 1 -Rills 16 and 17 and the ring beads 19 on.
All pipe connection parts are preferably made of brass. The separately manufactured support nipple can be manufactured inexpensively despite its complex profile grooves.
