Fig. Ib in schematischer Aufsicht, zwei direkt erfindungsgemäss miteinander verbundene Stellwandabschnitte,

The present invention relates to a method for connecting partition walls, a partition section for carrying out the method, a connecting column or end column for partition sections for carrying out the method and a partition arrangement for carrying out the method.
It is known to form partition walls by partition sections which are flexibly connected along their vertical sides by means of complementary Velcro strips, either directly or via a column-like intermediate part. For optical reasons, it is often desirable to use the columnar intermediate part as a closing part.
The provision of the complementary Velcro strips results on the one hand in an often undesirable optical breakdown of the movable wall appearance, since the coloring of the Velcro strips is difficult to exactly match that of the movable wall sections. In addition, items of clothing from people walking in and out of rooms provided with such partitions can get caught on the Velcro strips, which can cause damage, particularly in the case of stockings or knitwear.
The present invention aims to overcome the above-mentioned disadvantages.
For this purpose, a method of the type mentioned is proposed, which is characterized in that the partition walls are held together magnetically.
A partition section for carrying out the method is characterized in that at least one magnet and / or one ferromagnetic part is provided on at least one of its vertical sides.
In this way, such partition wall sections with correspondingly shaped vertical sides, equipped with magnets and / or with a ferromagnetic part, can be joined in a simple manner in the desired angular position without the disadvantages of Velcro strap connections mentioned and can be pivoted without disassembly.
A connecting column or end column for movable wall sections for carrying out the method is characterized in that at least one magnet is provided on the outer surface of the column and / or at least one ferromagnetic part or else in that it consists of ferromagnetic material.
This creates the possibility of not directly connecting the movable wall sections to one another, but rather, as is known in connection with Velcro strips, via an intermediate support. As mentioned, the connecting column or terminating column can consist entirely of ferromagnetic material, which simplifies its manufacture, or else can be covered in the area of its periphery. Both ensure great flexibility with regard to the angular position of the partition sections to be connected above.
However, if it is determined in advance that the partition sections are to be connected in the desired angular relation via such a connecting column, then it has at least one magnet, preferably at least one magnet pair, along at least one surface line and / or at least one ferromagnetic part, preferably extended in the line direction, or at least a couple of games.
A partition arrangement for carrying out the method with at least two partition sections is characterized in that each section has at least one magnet on at least one of its vertical sides and / or at least one ferromagnetic part.
The invention is subsequently explained, for example, using figures. Show it:
La is a schematic plan view of two partition sections connected according to the invention via a connecting column,
1b in a schematic top view, two movable wall sections directly connected to one another according to the invention,
2 shows a schematic plan view of three partition sections connected to one another according to the invention via a connecting column,
3 shows a schematic plan view of four partition sections connected to one another according to the invention via a connecting column,
Fig. 4 is a schematic plan view of a plurality of partitions according to the invention, partly directly, partly via a connecting column, with a closing column.
In FIG. 1 a, two movable wall sections 1 have at least one permanent magnet along their vertical sides 3, but preferably distributed along the vertical sides 3, a plurality of permanent magnets
5 on. The vertical sides 3 with the magnets 5 are formed by concave cylindrical surfaces. A connecting column 9 with the radius corresponding to the cylinder surfaces is either made entirely of ferromagnetic material or covered on the periphery with such a material or, as indicated by dashed lines, has ferromagnetic parts 7 for interaction with the corresponding magnets 5 on the partition sections 1. It goes without saying that permanent magnets 5 can also be arranged on the connecting column 9, in which case permanent magnets 5 which are provided on the movable wall sections 1 and are aligned accordingly are preferably replaced by ferromagnetic parts.
If greater magnetic connection forces are required, it is also possible to provide magnets 5 each associated with the connection column 9 as well as with the sections 1. As further indicated in Fig. La, permanent magnets 5 provided in certain applications can be replaced by electromagnets 5a. Basically, the partition wall sections 1 shown and the connecting column 9 comprise mutually assigned magnets / magnets, magnets / ferromagnetic parts, wherein, as mentioned, the magnets can be designed as permanent or electromagnets. This mutual association of magnet / magnet, magnet / ferromagnetic part can be used in all the examples described below.
In FIG. 1b, the one vertical side 3 of a section la is designed as a convex cylinder surface that jumps outwards, and that of a second section lb with a corresponding radius is designed as a concave cylinder surface that jumps inwards. Along the vertical sides 3 of the two movable wall sections la and lb, at least one magnet and at least one ferromagnetic part 7 are provided, assigned to one another, preferably along these vertical sides 3 a plurality of magnets / ferromagnetic parts or magnets / magnets assigned to one another.
In Fig. 2, the combination of three partition sections 1 is shown in analogy to the comments on Fig. La. If you want to achieve the greatest possible flexibility with regard to the angular composition of the individual partition sections via the connecting column 9, at least the circumferential surface of the connecting column 9 is made of ferromagnetic material and accordingly arranged on the vertical sides 3 of the partition sections 1, magnets 5, as already mentioned.
In FIG. 3, a cross-shaped section assembly with a connecting column 9 is shown in analogy to FIG.
In Fig. 4 it is shown how modularly, partition sections 1, as shown at A, partially directly, as shown at B, are partially assembled via a connecting column 9, a connecting column 9 being provided as a closing column for aesthetic reasons.
The proposed connection method creates the possibility of flexibly assembling and converting partition sections according to needs without any connection elements being visible and disruptive from the outside. The exemplary embodiments shown are not intended to limit the invention. Rather, there are many options for providing the magnet / magnet, magnet / ferromagnetic part arrangements on connecting columns and partition sections.
