Die Erfindung betrifft einen Sportschuh, vorzugsweise für Rennzwecke, aus einer Sohleneinheit mit Bindesohle und Schleisssohle sowie einem daran festgemachten Oberteil bestehend, wobei die Sohleneinheit mit quer über die Mittellinie des Schuhes verlaufenden, zwischen der Schleisssohle und der Bindesohle befindlichen elastischen Rippen versehen ist.
