The invention relates to a thermal insulation board, in particular for insulating pitched roofs, consisting of two pressure-resistant cover layers and at least one heat-insulating intermediate layer arranged between them.
When using thermal insulation panels for insulation, particularly pitched roofs, but also flat roofs, it was previously necessary to provide a separate cladding for the interior, which could be retrofitted to the thermal insulation panels or additional auxiliary devices such as e.g. Auxiliary battens can be attached.
The invention has for its object to provide a thermal insulation board of the type mentioned, which makes an additional auxiliary device for a panel and a separate panel superfluous with a simple and robust structure.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that a decorative layer is attached to one of the cover layers, expediently glued, screwed on or plugged on.
This decorative layer is applied to the top layer, which faces the interior of the house, so that no additional cladding is required.
A favorable training provides that the decorative layer consists of a wooden cladding. It is advantageously provided that strips and / or boards run parallel to one another in the wood cladding. In addition to aesthetic considerations, such a cladding has an additional advantage, which is an increased insulating ability.
It can be advantageous if the wooden cladding consists of parallel planks which are spaced apart to form a joint.
It can be provided that the joint in the board thickness is completely or partially filled with a strip. In this way you get an aesthetically pleasing panel that gives the viewer a homely impression.
Advantageously, the bar can be accommodated in recesses provided on both long sides of the boards. In this way, the cladding can be prefabricated in a particularly simple manner in a separate manufacturing process and then applied to the raw thermal insulation panel.
It can be favorable here for the recess to be formed in a step-like manner on the edge of the boards that faces the cover layer.
An alternative embodiment can provide that the bar is inserted into a groove provided in the cover layer.
A favorable design can be seen in the fact that the bar is inserted flush in a groove in the cover layer.
It can be advantageous for the groove to have a greater width than the joint between the boards.
In the following description, exemplary embodiments of the invention are described with reference to the drawing. The drawing shows:
1 is a perspective view of a portion of a first embodiment of a thermal insulation panel,
2 is a side view of a cross section through the cladding with cover layer and intermediate layer,
3 is a view corresponding to FIG. 2, regarding another embodiment,
Fig. 4 is a view corresponding to Fig. 2, relating to a third embodiment, and
Fig. 5 is a view corresponding to FIG. 2, a fourth example of execution.
FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a partial area of a thermal insulation panel 1. The thermal insulation board has two cover layers 2A and 2B, which are arranged on an intermediate layer 3. As a rule, this intermediate layer 3 consists of rigid polyurethane foam, while the cover layers consist either of plywood, of a pressboard material, of a combination between the two, or of an aluminum lamination.
The boards can be butted against each other, glued to the respective cover layer or attached in some other way, or, as can be seen from the enlarged area in FIG. 1, arranged at a distance from one another. A bar is inserted into the remaining groove, which in the exemplary embodiment shown rests on the cover layer and is partially covered laterally by protruding side edges 10 of the boards (FIGS. 1 and 3).
For this purpose, the mutually facing side edges of the boards are each stepped on the edge facing the cover layer to B.
In another embodiment, it is provided to provide a strip which is flush with the surface between the parallel planks, so that there is an overall smooth surface. 2 shows the decorative layer 4, which overall consists of the boards 6 and strips 5, which are flush with one another, and is generally attached with its underside to the surface of the cover layer 2A by means of gluing. For the sake of completeness, reference number 3 denotes the intermediate layer located below the cover layer.
In a further embodiment it is provided that the strip 5 is inserted in a groove 9 provided in the cover layer 2B. The bar can still protrude from the groove, but it can also, as shown in the exemplary embodiment in FIG. 4, the groove 9 and the bar 5 be dimensioned such that the bar is flush with the surface of the cover layer 2B. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the side edges 10 of the boards 6 protrude a little beyond the groove 9, as a result of which the joint 7 has a smaller width than the strip 5. If the boards are glued to the cover layer, this form of training provides a special rigid thermal insulation board.
In a further embodiment shown in FIG. 5, the boards each have a step forming the joint 7 on one longitudinal side. In this case, the bottom projection 11 can abut the associated side edge of the adjoining board or, as shown in the figure, can be partially overlapped by the side wall projection 10a.
Veneered or waxed natural wood boards can be used as boards and strips, but also those made of plastic or plastic-coated material. In special cases, provision is made for a fire protection layer to be provided as the last cover layer, the decorative layer then also consisting of flame-retardant material.
As a rule, the top layer has a material thickness of approx. 6 mm and the wood cladding has a thickness of approx. 8 mm.
While the intended joint is about 1 cm. the width of a board is approximately 12.5 cm. The thickness of the strip used is usually approx. 3 mm. which is why the recess 8 or the corresponding groove 9 has such a depth. The overlap of the side edges 10 over the edge width of the bar is approximately 5 mm.
With dimensions of this type which can otherwise be varied by the person skilled in the art. you get a strong and firm cladding that has the necessary stiffness even during handling during the manufacturing process and does not break even with a larger area.
