Abstract
The load-bearing member (1) is connected to a sleeve (3) fitting into the support (2). The sleeve (3) is provided with cutouts (4) at its open end. These cutouts (4) correspond to mutually opposite through-passages (5) in the wall of the tubular support (2), with the result that a locking bar (6) can be pushed through these through-passages (5) and the cutouts (4). The locking bar (6) can be connected to the load-bearing member (1) by means of a screw (7). <IMAGE>

PATENTANSPRUCH
Lösbare Verbindung zwischen einer rohrförmigen Stütze und einem rechtwinklig dazu verlaufenden Träger, dadurch gekennzeichnet. dass der Träger eine in die Stütze passende, an ihrem dem Träger abgewendeten Ende offene Hülse besitzt, wobei der Hülsenrand mit Ausschnitten und die Stütze mit Durchbrechungen versehen sind, und ein die Ausschnitte und die Durchbrechungen durchsetzender, mit dem Träger lösbar verbundener Riegel vorgesehen ist.
Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine lösbare Verbindung gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches. Verbindungen dieser Art finden im Metallbau, insbesondere aber beim Bau von Gartenmöbeln, vor allem Gartentischen, mannigfaltige Anwendung. Alle vorbekannten Verbindungen besitzen nun gemeinsam den Nachteil, dass sie kompliziert sind und eine Vielzahl von Einzelteilen aufweisen, was insbesondere dann von Nachteil ist, wenn diese Teile einer Nachbehandlung, wie beispielsweise einer Verzinkung oder Plastifizierung, unterworfen werden müssen.
Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine lösbare Verbindung der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, welche äusserst einfach und robust ist und dazuhin eine Mindestzahl von Einzelteilen aufweist.
In der Zeichnung sind zwei beispielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt:
Fig. 1 einen Vertikalschnitt durch eine erste Ausführungsform,
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie 11-11 in Fig. 1,
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach der Linie 111-111 in Fig. 2 und
Fig. 4 einen Fig. 3 entsprechenden Schnitt durch eine zweite Ausführungsform.
Bei den beiden in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsformen handelt es sich um die Verbindung eines horizontalen Trägers 1, beispielsweise dem Träger für ein Tischblatt, mit der rohrförmigen Stütze 2, beispielsweise einem Tischbein. Auf der Unterseite des Trägers list die beidseitig offene, rohrförmige Hülse 3 aufgeschweisst, wobei die Abmessungen so gewählt sind, dass die an ihrem, dem Träger 1 abgewendeten Ende offene Hülse 3 in die rohrförmige Stütze 2 eingeschoben werden kann. Die Hülse 3 besitzt an ihrem Rand Ausschnitte 4 resp. 4a, die bei einem ersten Ausführungsbeispiel im wesentlichen rechteckig sind (vgl.
Fig. 3), jedoch auch schlitzförmig mit gerundeter oberer Begrenzung ausgebildet sein können, wie dies aus der Fig. 4 ersichtlich ist. Die Stütze 2 besitzt zwei einander gegenüberliegende, beim ersten Ausführungsbeispiel (Fig. 3) im wesentlichen rechteckige, beim zweiten (Fig. 4) im wesentlichen runde Durchbrechungen 5 resp. 5a, wobei die Abmessungen so gewählt sind, dass ein Riegel 6 bzw. 6a durch die Ausschnitte 4 bzw. 4a und die Durchbrechungen 5 bzw. 5a durchgeschoben werden kann. Dieser Riegel 6 bzw. 6a besitzt beim ersten Ausführungsbeispiel einen rechteckigen, beim zweiten einen runden Querschnitt. Der Riegel 6 bzw. 6a ist vermittels einer den Träger 1 durchsetzenden Schraube 7 gegen diesen lösbar verspannt.
Daraus ergibt sich, dass bei angezogener Schraube 7 die beiden Teile, nämlich einerseits Träger 1 und Hülse 3 und andererseits Stütze 2, drehfest miteinander verbunden sind.
Zur Lösung der Verbindung genügt es, die Schraube 7 zu entfernen, den Riegel 6 bzw. 6a aus den Durchbrechungen 5 bzw. 5a und den Ausschnitten 4 bzw. 4a herauszustossen, wodurch der Träger 1 samt Hülse 3 frei wird und ohne weiteres aus der Stütze 2 herausgezogen werden kann.
Auf diese Weise gelingt es, eine Verbindung der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, welche äusserst einfach ist und aus vergleichsweise wenigen Einzelteilen besteht.

Detachable connection between a tubular support and a beam running at right angles thereto, characterized. that the support has a sleeve which fits into the support and is open at its end facing away from the support, the sleeve edge being provided with cutouts and the support being provided with openings, and a latch which passes through the cutouts and the openings and is detachably connected to the support is provided.
The present invention relates to a releasable connection according to the preamble of the claim. Compounds of this type are used in a variety of ways in metal construction, but especially in the construction of garden furniture, especially garden tables. All of the previously known compounds now have the disadvantage in common that they are complicated and have a large number of individual parts, which is particularly disadvantageous if these parts have to be subjected to post-treatment, such as galvanizing or plasticizing.
The present invention has for its object to provide a releasable connection of the type mentioned, which is extremely simple and robust and additionally has a minimum number of individual parts.
The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, namely:

Fig. 4 is a Fig. 3 corresponding section through a second embodiment.
The two embodiments shown in the drawing are the connection of a horizontal support 1, for example the support for a table top, to the tubular support 2, for example a table leg. The tubular sleeve 3, which is open on both sides, is welded onto the underside of the carrier, the dimensions being selected such that the sleeve 3, which is open at its end facing away from the carrier 1, can be inserted into the tubular support 2. The sleeve 3 has cutouts 4 and 4 on its edge. 4a, which are essentially rectangular in a first exemplary embodiment (cf.
Fig. 3), but can also be slit-shaped with a rounded upper limit, as can be seen from FIG. 4. The support 2 has two mutually opposite, in the first embodiment (Fig. 3) substantially rectangular, in the second (Fig. 4) substantially round openings 5 and respectively. 5a, the dimensions being chosen such that a bolt 6 or 6a can be pushed through the cutouts 4 or 4a and the openings 5 or 5a. This bolt 6 or 6a has a rectangular cross section in the first embodiment and a round cross section in the second. The bolt 6 or 6a is releasably clamped against the carrier 1 by means of a screw 7 passing through it.
It follows from this that when the screw 7 is tightened, the two parts, namely the carrier 1 and the sleeve 3 on the one hand and the support 2 on the other hand, are connected to one another in a rotationally fixed manner.
To solve the connection, it is sufficient to remove the screw 7, to push the bolt 6 or 6a out of the openings 5 or 5a and the cutouts 4 or 4a, as a result of which the carrier 1 together with the sleeve 3 is released and easily from the support 2 can be pulled out.
In this way it is possible to create a connection of the type mentioned at the outset, which is extremely simple and consists of comparatively few individual parts.
