Abstract

The sealing cushion has a flexible skin (4) which is formed in its edge region, with formation of an annular bead (7), in such a way that an annular cavity (8) is created. The edge of the annular bead (7) is firmly connected to a holding ring (5) which can be pressed into a corresponding annular groove (6) of the associated protective earpiece. The elastic sealing cushion is produced in one piece by injection moulding, has no connecting edges which could give rise to injuries and can be washed without problems with the conventional detergents. <IMAGE>

PATENTANSPRÜCHE 1. Dichtungskissen für Gehörschutzmuscheln, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass dasselbe eine biegsame Haut (4) aufweist, welche unter Bildung eines formelastischen, einen ringförmigen Hohlraum (8) umschliessenden Ringwulstes (7; geformt ist, dessen ringförmiger Randbereich Mittel (5) zur Befestigung an der zugehörigen Gehörschutzmuschel besitzt 2. Dichtungskissen nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zur Befestigung dienenden Mittel einen Haltering (5) umfassen, welcher fest mit dem Randbereich des Ringwulstes (7) verbunden ist und ein peripherisches Arretierungsorgan (13) zur lösbaren Befestigung an der Gehörschutzmuschel besitzt. The retaining ring 5 is made of a rigid material, preferably plastic or metal, and due to its elasticity in form it can be easily pressed into the ring groove of the ear protection cup and can also be removed again.

According to a preferred embodiment, the sealing pad 4 is injection-molded in one piece, but could also be composed of two or more parts.
