The invention relates to a method for adapting the stroke / force effect of an electromagnet to a specific stroke / force effect on a component to be actuated by the electromagnet, wherein between the armature of the electromagnet or a plunger actuated by this armature and the component to be actuated at least one lever mechanism is arranged and that the adjustment is accomplished by rotating the lever of the lever mechanism from the start of the stroke of the component.
The invention further relates to a device for performing this method.
The stroke / force effect of an electromagnet is unfavorable because there is a considerable difference between the small initial and the large final force in the area of the stroke.
E.g. When switching a hydraulic slide valve, the dirt in the oil, the thickened glycol portion of the
Water-glycol mixture in the valve chambers, the adhesive friction of the seal, among other things, lead to high starting resistance of the slide. The initial force of the otherwise well-dimensioned electromagnet is therefore not always sufficient to switch the slide. When switching a hydraulic ball seat valve with a conventional lever mechanism to increase the electromagnetic force, the
Design of the initial force of the electromagnet for safe opening of the valve is too high a final force, which, reinforced by the lever mechanism, cannot be fully used.
When designing the electromagnet for an electromagnetic pump, one must take into account not only the necessary delivery force but also the static friction of the seals, so that, at the end of the piston stroke, a force that cannot be fully exploited in turn arises. The relatively small force on
The beginning of the stroke, caused by the large air gap, leads to the oversizing of the electromagnets and thereby to their increase in price, further to more electricity consumption and higher weight. Nevertheless, it can happen that the electromagnet does not overcome the starting resistance of the component to be actuated.
The object of the present invention is a method
and to propose a device of the type mentioned at the beginning with which the disadvantages mentioned can be eliminated.
According to the invention this is solved by the teaching of the characterizing parts of claims 1 and 3.
Further advantageous refinements emerge from the dependent claims.
Preferred exemplary embodiments are explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The simplest form of the device according to the invention is shown in FIG.
The armature of the electromagnet, or the plunger 2 actuated by it, guided in the guide 9, touches the disc-shaped lever 6 with the nose 4 of the end face 3. Due to the resistance of the component 8 to be actuated, e.g. of a valve spool, piston of a pump, etc. the lever end 11 of the supporting lever arm 12 is supported on the stop 10. This creates a force transmission ratio of 1:> 1, since the distance between the support point 5 of the nose 4 with the lever 6 and the lever end 11 is greater than the distance between the support point 13 of the component 8 and the side 14 of the lever 6 facing away from the nose 4 and the lever end 11.
By moving the plunger 2, the lever 6 rotates about the lever end 11 and moves the component 8 with increased force until the end face 3 of the plunger 2, the lever 6 with that of the nose 4 with respect to the anchor or plunger axis 1 essentially opposite base 15 touches Fig. 2. By further displacement of the plunger 2, the lever 6 in the guide 7-Fig. 3rd
This eliminates the effect of the lever mechanism. The force ratio between the plunger 2 and the component 8 is at the apparent force ratio of 1: 1. The adapting effect of the lever mechanism on the component 8 is therefore limited to only a certain partial range of the stroke of the component. If the inclination of the end face 3 of the plunger 2 is smaller than shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the simplest starting aid for the component 8 can be achieved. If e.g. the starting aid for component 8 accounts for 10% of the total stroke with a power transmission ratio of 1: 1.5 - Fig. 4, the stroke / force effect of the electromagnet on component 8 is influenced, as shown in FIG. 5. The designations mean F = force and H = stroke.
In order to achieve this initial force, a conventional electromagnet would have to receive a correspondingly higher voltage in the short term. Such a procedure is known to be considerably more complicated and therefore more expensive than the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3.
An analogous embodiment is shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, in which the nose 4 is designed as a projecting part of the lever 6.
In Fig. 5 it can be seen that the power of the starting aid is smaller at the beginning of the actuation process than at the end.
This is unfavorable because only the size of the initial force determines the effectiveness of the jump start. For this reason, the embodiment according to FIG. 9 is cheaper. The lever 6 has a shoulder 22 on its surface 21 facing the nose 4. During rotation, the lever 6 is supported first with the lever end 11 a, later with the lever end 11 on the stop 10. This gradually changes the power ratio from e.g. 1: 1.8 to 1: 1.5 10. The corresponding stroke / force effect of the electromagnet on component 8 during e.g. 20% of the total stroke is shown in Fig.
11 shown.
Another embodiment is shown in FIG. 12. The nose has a convex support surface 20, similar to how the surface 21 of the lever 6 facing the support 10 has a convex support surface 23. By moving the plunger 2, the support points move from 5 to 5a of the nose 4 with the lever 6 and the end of the lever from 1 to 11 of the lever 6 according to the stop 10. This allows the force transmission ratio to be varied as desired, e.g. as shown in Fig.
13. The corresponding stroke / force effect of the electromagnet on component 8 is shown as a pronounced starting aid in FIG. 14. In an analogous embodiment, a nose 4 with a convex surface on the lever 6 (not shown) is also possible.
15 to 19 show a special embodiment of the device according to this method, in which the lever 6 is formed directly by the component 8, in this case by a ball 6, 8 of the ball seat valve. The plunger 2 acts with the support point 5 of the nose 4 of the end face 3 on the ball 6, 8 and rotates it around the support 10. The force of the pressure medium and the compression spring 24 must be overcome. After the rotation about the lever end 11, the ball 6, 8 is supported on the end face 3 of the plunger 2, the support points 13 and 15 coinciding and lying in the axis 27 of the ball 6, 8. The further displacement of the plunger 2 leads to the displacement of the ball 6, 8 in the guide 7.
During the rotation of the ball 6,8, a force transmission ratio of e.g. 1: 1.4 the adjustment of the stroke / force effect of the electromagnet to the high lifting force of the ball 6.8. If the ball 6,8 has already been lifted on one side due to the rotation and the static pressure of the medium is reduced, normal electromagnet force can be used during the subsequent displacement of the ball 6,8. Since the plunger 2 receives lateral force 6.8 when the ball is lifted, a small support 25 is provided on the plunger 2, which supports this force against the guide 9, in this case against the seat.
FIG. 20 shows an embodiment in which component 8 occupies a central position between two springs 16. This arrangement corresponds to a slide valve with the slide in the middle position. Due to the action of an electromagnet on one of the two plungers 2, component 8 is displaced from its central position. In this case, the initial force of the electromagnet must also overcome the counterforce of the spring 16. In order to achieve the adjustment of the stroke / force effect of the electromagnet to the necessary stroke / force effect on the component 8, the stop 10 is displaceable. It is advantageous to insert a clamping ring 17 into the guide 7 between the lever 6 and the spring 16.
After turning the lever 6 and e.g. the starting aid, the clamping ring 17 slips by the action of the spring 16 after the lever 6 if the lever 6 also begins to move.
This stroke / force effect is also guaranteed in the end positions outside the middle position, should component 8 possibly become jammed.
21 shows an example of the series arrangement of two lever mechanisms 28, 29. The plunger 2 with the lever 6 of the first lever mechanism 28 has a power transmission ratio of e.g. 1: 1.5. The second lever mechanism 29 with a transmission plunger 19 in the guide 18 and the lever 6a has a power transmission ratio of e.g. 1: 2, decreasing against 1: 1. The two lever mechanisms 28, 29 act together e.g. during the 10% of the total stroke. After the adaptive action of the first lever mechanism 28 is switched off by its displacement, only the second lever mechanism 29 remains during the further stroke, e.g. 30% of the total stroke, in operation.
The decreasing force transmission ratio is achieved by the convex support surface 20 of the transmission plunger 19 and the convex support surface 30 of the stop 10.
The course of the force transmission ratio is shown in Fig.
22 and the stroke / force effect of the electromagnet on component 8 in FIG. 23. In addition to the powerful jump start, an increased power effect is maintained during a considerable part of the total stroke.
The adjustment of the stroke / force effect of the electromagnet, mainly the initial increase in the force effect, is however only possible by extending the stroke of the electromagnet according to the total stroke of component 8 and starts with a lower electromagnetic force. Despite a power transmission ratio of e.g.
A double power increase is not achieved 1: 2 if, in addition to the higher power, a longer lifting action is required.
The advantages of the described method lie in the possibility of adapting the stroke / force effect to the component to be actuated by the electromagnet, this only happening during a certain partial range of the stroke of the component. The adaptation of the force effect, preferably in the initial area of the stroke of the component, can be achieved with the simplest of means as a starting aid.
However, it is possible to make do with a lower power consumption of the electromagnet and thereby make the electromagnets cheaper, reduce the power consumption and save weight. It is known that by reducing the power consumption of an electromagnet by 30%, the initial force only drops by approximately 20% and the final force by only approximately 5%. By designing the nose 4 of the armature or the plunger 2 and the disc-shaped lever 6, e.g. according to Fig.
12, an adaptation of the force effect in the initial region of the stroke of component 8 can be achieved, which not only compensates for the reduction in the initial force of the electromagnet with lower power consumption, but also helps to start the vehicle.
If the armature or plunger axis 1 coincides with the axis 26 of the guide 7 and the component 8, then the value of the force transmission ratio for any relative position of the nose 4 of the armature or plunger 2 and the disk-shaped lever 6, or the ball 6, 8 according to FIG. 15. The adjustment of the stroke / force effect of the electromagnet according to this invention takes place in the extended armature or plunger axis 1, which is particularly advantageous in the slide valves and the electromagnetic pumps. This also applies to the series arrangement of several mechanisms, e.g. shown in Fig. 21.
