Fig. 2, ein Schnitt durch den Vorschubschlitten.

5. Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the friction rollers (13) are roller bearings.
The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.
Cutting devices are known in which the cutting device is moved by hand.
Known electrically operated cutting or separating machines essentially contain a carriage provided with a cutting device, which is arranged on at least one guide rod and is moved back and forth by a drive motor via a cable or belt pull.
Cutting machines of this type are very large in construction.
Furthermore, the thickness of the material to be cut is limited by the power transmission by means of a cable or belt pull, and greater maintenance is required to ensure optimal cutting.
The aim of the invention is to provide a device for cutting bendable, sheet-like structures, which is less complex and can cut materials of different thicknesses without having to readjust.
This goal is achieved according to the invention by the features mentioned in claim 1.
The advantages achievable with the invention can be seen in the fact that the feed slide itself is part of the feed system and that the shaft itself is a guide element of the feed slide.
In the following an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Show it:
Fig. 1, a plan view of an embodiment of the inventive device and
Fig. 2, a section through the feed carriage.
As shown in Fig. 1, the device consists essentially of a cutting table 1, which is mounted on a base or frame, not shown, and is provided on one edge with a cutting bar 2, a drive motor 3 and a cutting device 4, which on a parallel and im Distance to the cutting bar 2 arranged shaft 5 is arranged. The drive motor 3 and the shaft 5 are rigidly connected to one another and held on the cutting table 1 by two carriers 6. The cutting device 4 consists of a feed slide 7 and a cutting element 8. The cutting element 8 is a circular knife which is fastened on an axis 9 fastened to the feed slide 7 via a roller bearing 10.
The feed carriage shown in FIG. 2 contains a housing 11 with a base 12 to which the drive device is attached. The drive device has three friction rollers 13 which are mounted on three axes 14 distributed uniformly over the circumference of the floor. The axes 14 are skewed and laterally offset with respect to the shaft 5 passing through the housing 11 centrally. The axis 14 has a conical section 15 at the free end. The drive device also contains a ring 16 with an inner cone 17 is held at a distance from the bottom 12 by means of screws 18. The axis position of the axes 7 is selected such that the conical section 15 runs straight on the surface of the inner cone 17, and the friction rollers 13 are pressed against the circumference of the shaft 5 on the circumference.
Due to the arrangement described, an axial force is transmitted from the rotating shaft 5 to the friction rollers 13 rotatable about the axes 14, which axial force is transmitted axially on the shaft 5 via the friction rollers 13 of the feed carriage, which is held in a rotationally fixed manner by the circular knife 8 resting on the cutting edge 2 shifts.
With the drive device, therefore, a pressure movement of the shaft 5 is converted into an axial movement of a feed slide 7 secured against rotation, and this solely because of the friction, i.e. without the provision of form-fitting means, such as threads or gears, which are expensive to manufacture. The direction of the axial movement depends on the direction of rotation of the shaft 5 and is reversible by changing the direction of rotation.
To cut a structure, the cutting device must be moved along the cutting bar. This movement is accomplished with the drive motor, which can be operated indiscriminately by means of a foot switch or contact strip (not shown).
The electrical control for the drive motor is designed so that the cutting device only moves as long as the foot switch is actuated. Each switching pulse changes the direction of rotation of the drive motor and consequently the direction in which the cutting device is moved. This means that even short cutting lengths can be cut in the shortest possible time. The electrical control device for the drive motor is arranged in the motor housing.
