The invention relates to a device for the inductive reception of audio signals with a hearing aid and with an induction coil.
Hearing aids today generally contain an induction pickup coil that can be switched on by means of a switch instead of the microphone. This induction coil allows the recording of inductive audio signals that are amplified by the hearing aid. This induction coil is also used in particular for telephoning, with the induction field of the telephone receiver being brought close to the inductive pickup coil built into the hearing aid, which enables the audio signal to be coupled to the hearing aid. Since hearing aids worn on the head in particular are built very small for cosmetic reasons, the built-in induction coils must also be very small. This limits the power consumption of these coils. The receiver built into the hearing aid itself also develops an induction field that can couple with the built-in coil, which in turn limits the sensitivity of the entire system. Since many modern telephones are now built with receivers that only have very weak inductive fields, in many cases it is no longer possible to transfer the inductive field from the telephone to the hearing aid.
The aim of the invention is to eliminate the stated disadvantages of the built-in induction coil.
This aim is achieved according to the invention with the device mentioned at the outset in that the hearing aid and the induction coil are designed as separate units, the induction coil being connectable to the hearing aid via an electrical line.
Es zeigen:io The hearing aid can be equipped with a connection option to enable the connection of the external induction coil parallel to the built-in microphone. In the following, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the attached drawings. Show it:
Fig. 1 ein Blockschaltbild der Einrichtung und Fig. 2 eine schematische Darstellung der Einrichtung mit der Induktionsspule und mit dem Hörgerät und deren Verbindung untereinander.1 shows a block diagram of the device and FIG. 2 shows a schematic representation of the device with the induction coil and with the hearing aid and their connection to one another.
Das Hörgerät verfügt im wesentlichen über ein Mikrofon 3, ein Verstärker 4 und einem Hörer FIG. 1 schematically shows the electrical circuit diagram of the device, box 1 showing the circuit diagram of the hearing aid and box 2 showing the induction coil. The hearing aid essentially has a microphone 3, an amplifier 4 and a receiver
The hearing aid has two electrical connections 6 that lead to the outside of the hearing aid housing. The induction coil 2 can be connected at this point.
Da das induktive Signal parallel zum eingebauten Mikrofon mitläuft, kann der Schwerhörige zusätzlich Umgebungsgeräusche mit-45 hören, was in vielen Fällen ein Vorteil ist.2 shows a schematic representation of an external telephone coil with the connection to the hearing aid. The induction coil 7 is built into the housing 8 and can be connected to the hearing aid 13 by means of a plug part 9 which is plugged into a socket part 10 and via the cable 11 and a hearing aid connection part 12 . As a result, there are essentially three mechanical parts; the induction coil 7 installed in the housing 8, the connection cable 11 with the plug part 9 and the hearing aid connection part 12 and the hearing aid 13. The hearing aid user can now connect the connection cable with the induction coil to his hearing aid when telephoning and with the very large and according to 40 sensitive external induction coil pick up the inductive field directly from the telephone. The connecting cable 11 is long enough for this purpose. Since the inductive signal runs parallel to the built-in microphone, the hard of hearing can also hear ambient noise at -45, which is an advantage in many cases.
