The compounds of formula (I) are used according to the invention for flame retardant finishing in the bulk of polymeric organic materials that are different from cellulose and cellulose derivatives, preferably for flame retardant finishing in the bulk of thermoplastic materials.
The invention also relates to a process for producing the flame-retardant polymeric organic materials mentioned, which is characterized in that the flame-retardant compounds of the formula (I) are added to the materials to be protected before, during or after the polymer formation to the composition.
Flammable polymeric organic materials suitable for incorporating compounds of the formula (I) into their mass are, for example, polyolefins, in particular polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene (HIPS) and ABS copolymers, polyacrylonitrile, polymethyl methacrylate, polyesters, in particular P. polyethylene terephthalate (PETP), polyamides such as nylon, polyphenylene oxides, polycarbonates, polyurethanes but also synthetic resins such as lacquers and paints.
